- Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
- They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
- But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
- I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
- Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

- 자녀들이여, 지금은 마지막 때입니다. 여러분도 그리스도의 원수가 온다는 말을 들었지만 이미 많은 원수들이 나타났습니다. 그래서 우리는 마지막 때가 된 것을 압니다.
- 그들은 우리에게 속하지 않았으므로 우리 가운데서 나갔습니다. 만일 그들이 우리에게 속하였다면 우리와 함께 있었을 것입니다. 그러나 그들이 우리에게서 떨어져 나감으로 우리에게 속하지 않은 것이 드러났습니다.
- 여러분은 거룩하신 분에게서 성령을 받아 이 모든 것을 알고 있습니다.
- 내가 여러분에게 이 글을 쓰는 것은 여러분이 진리를 몰라서가 아니라 오히려 여러분이 진리를 알고 거짓은 진리에서 나오는 것이 아님을 알고 있기 때문입니다.
- 거짓말하는 사람이 누굽니까? 예수님이 그리스도라는 것을 부정하는 사람이 아닙니까? 하나님 아버지와 아들을 모른다고 하는 사람이 바로 그리스도의 원수입니다.

- Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
- Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
- And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
- These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
- But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

- 아들을 모른다고 하는 사람은 아버지를 모시지 못하고 아들을 인정하는 사람은 아버지를 모시고 있는 것입니다.
- 여러분은 처음부터 들은 것을 잊지 않도록 하십시오. 그러면 여러분도 아들과 하나님 아버지 안에서 살게 될 것입니다.
- 이것이 바로 그리스도께서 직접 우리에게 약속해 주신 영원한 생명입니다.
- 여러분을 속이려는 사람들에 대하여 내가 이것을 썼습니다.
- 여러분에게는 그리스도께서 부어 주신 성령이 있기 때문에 아무에게서도 가르침을 받을 필요가 없습니다. 성령께서 여러분에게 모든 것을 가르쳐 주십니다. 그분의 가르치심은 참되고 거짓이 없습니다. 그러므로 성령님이 가르치신 대로 여러분은 언제나 그리스도 안에서 생활하십시오.

- And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
- If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

- 자녀들이여, 여러분은 그리스도안에서 사십시오. 그러면 그리스도께서 다시 오실 때 부끄러움을 당하지 않고 떳떳이 그분을 뵙게 될 것입니다.
- 하나님이 의로우신 분이라는 것을 안다면 의롭게 사는 사람들이 모두 그분의 자녀들이라는 것을 잊지 마십시오.
