- O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
- Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
- O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
- If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
- Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.

- 주 나의 하나님, 내가 주님께로 피합니다. 나를 뒤쫓는 모든 사람에게서 나를 구원하여 주시고, 건져 주십시오.
- 그들이 사자처럼 나를 찢어 발기어도, 나의 목숨 건져 줄 사람이 없을까 두렵습니다.
- 주 나의 하나님, 내가 만일 이런 일을 저질렀다면 벌을 내려 주십시오. 내가 손으로 폭력을 행했거나
- 친구의 우정을 악으로 갚았거나, 나의 대적이라고 하여 까닭 없이 그를 약탈했다면,
- 원수들이 나를 뒤쫓아와서, 내 목숨을 덮쳐서 땅에 짓밟고, 내 명예를 짓밟아도, 나는 좋습니다. （셀라）

- Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
- So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
- The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
- Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
- My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

- 주님, 진노하며 일어나시고, 내 대적들의 기세를 꺾어 주십시오. 하나님, 깨어나셔서 판결을 내려 주십시오.
- 뭇 민족들을 주님 앞으로 모으시고, 주님께서는 그 높은 법정으로 돌아오십시오.
- 주님께서는 뭇 백성들을 판단하시는 분이시니, 내 의와 내 성실함을 따라 나를 변호해 주십시오.
- 악한 자의 악행을 뿌리 뽑아 주시고 의인은 굳게 세워 주십시오. 주님은 의로우신 하나님, 사람의 마음 속 생각을 낱낱이 살피시는 분이십니다.
- 하나님은 나를 지키시는 방패시요, 마음이 올바른 사람에게 승리를 안겨 주시는 분이시다.
