- My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
- O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
- But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
- Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
- They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

- 나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 나를 버리십니까? 어찌하여 그리 멀리 계셔서, 살려 달라고 울부짖는 나의 간구를 듣지 아니하십니까?
- 나의 하나님, 온종일 불러도 대답하지 않으시고, 밤새도록 부르짖어도 모르는 체하십니다.
- 그러나 주님은 거룩하신 분, 이스라엘의 찬양을 받으실 분이십니다.
- 우리 조상이 주님을 믿었습니다. 그들은 믿었고, 주님께서는 그들을 구해 주셨습니다.
- 주님께 부르짖었으므로, 그들은 구원을 받았습니다. 주님을 믿었으므로, 그들은 수치를 당하지 않았습니다.

- But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
- All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
- He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
- But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
- I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

- 그러나 나는 사람도 아닌 벌레요, 사람들의 비방거리, 백성의 모욕거리일 뿐입니다.
- 나를 보는 사람은 누구나 나를 빗대어서 조롱하며, 입술을 비쭉거리고 머리를 흔들면서 얄밉게 빈정댑니다.
- "그가 주님께 그토록 의지하였다면, 주님이 그를 구하여 주시겠지. 그의 주님이 그토록 그를 사랑하신다니, 주님이 그를 건져 주시겠지" 합니다.
- 그러나 주님은 나를 모태에서 이끌어 내신 분, 어머니의 젖을 빨 때부터 주님을 의지하게 하신 분이십니다.
- 나는 태어날 때부터 주님께 맡긴 몸, 모태로부터 주님만이 나의 하나님이었습니다.

- 나를 멀리하지 말아 주십시오. 재난이 가까이 닥쳐왔으나, 나를 도와줄 사람이 없습니다.
- 황소 떼가 나를 둘러쌌습니다. 바산의 힘센 소들이 이 몸을 에워쌌습니다.
- 으르렁대며 찢어 발기는 사자처럼 입을 벌리고 나에게 달려듭니다.
