- The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
- The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
- The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
- Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
- A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

- 악인이 의인을 모해하며, 그를 보고 이를 갈지라도,
- 주님은 오히려 악인을 비웃으실 것이니, 악인의 끝날이 다가옴을 이미 아시기 때문이다.
- 악인들은 칼을 뽑아 치켜들고, 또 활을 당겨서, 비천하고 가난한 사람들을 쓰러뜨리며, 자기 길을 똑바로 걷는 사람을 죽이려고 하지만,
- 그 칼에 오히려 자기 가슴만 뚫릴 것이니, 그 활도 꺾이고야 말 것이다.
- 의인의 하찮은 소유가 악인의 많은 재산보다 나으니,

- For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
- The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
- They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
- But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
- The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

- 악인의 팔은 부러지지만, 의인은 주님께서 붙들어 주신다.
- 흠 없는 사람의 나날은 주님께서 보살펴 주시니, 그 유산은 대대로 이어지고,
- 재난을 당할 때에도 부끄러움을 당하지 않고, 기근이 들 때에도 굶주리지 않는다.
- 그러나 악인들은 패망할 것이니, 주님의 원수들은 기름진 풀밭이 시들어 불타듯이, 불타 없어질 것이니, 연기처럼 사라질 것이다.
- 악인은 빌리기만 하고 갚지 않으나, 의인은 은혜를 베풀고 거저 준다.

- For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

- 주님께서 베푸시는 복을 받은 사람은 땅을 차지하게 되지만, 주님의 저주를 받은 자들은 땅에서 끊어질 것이다.
