- And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
- Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
- And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
- And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
- Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

- 주님께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
- "너는 이스라엘 자손에게 다음과 같이 일러라. 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 어떤 사람이든지, 또는 이스라엘에서 나그네로 사는 외국 사람 가운데서 어떤 사람이든지, 제 자식을 몰렉에게 제물로 준다면, 그를 반드시 사형에 처해야 한다. 그 지방 사람이 그를 돌로 쳐죽여야 한다.
- 나도 바로 그런 자에게 진노하여, 그를 자기 백성에게서 끊어지게 하겠다. 그가 자식을 몰렉에게 주어 나의 성소를 더럽히고, 나의 거룩한 이름을 욕되게 하였기 때문이다.
- 그 지방 사람이, 자식을 몰렉에게 준 자를 눈감아 주고, 그를 사형에 처하지 않으면,
- 내가 직접 그와 그의 가문에 진노를 부어서 그는 물론이고, 그를 따라 몰렉을 섬기며 음란한 짓을 한 자들을, 모조리 자기 백성에게서 끊어지게 하겠다.

- And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
- Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.
- And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.
- For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
- And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

- 어느 누가, 혼백을 불러내는 여자와 마법을 쓰는 사람에게 다니면서, 그들을 따라 음란한 짓을 하면, 나는 바로 그자에게 진노하여 그를 자기 백성에게서 끊어지게 하겠다.
- 그러므로 너희는 몸가짐을 깨끗하게 하고 거룩한 사람이 되어야 한다. 나는 주 너희의 하나님이기 때문이다.
- 내가 정한 규례를 지켜 그대로 하여야 한다. 나는 너희를 거룩하게 한 주다.
- 아버지나 어머니를 저주하는 사람은 반드시 사형에 처해야 한다. 그가 아버지와 어머니를 저주하였으니, 그는 자기 죄값으로 죽는 것이다.
- 남자가 다른 남자의 아내 곧 자기의 이웃집 아내와 간통하면, 간음한 두 남녀는 함께 반드시 사형에 처해야 한다.

- And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
- And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
- If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
- And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
- And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.

- 제 아버지의 아내와 동침한 자는, 아버지의 몸을 부끄럽게 한 것이다. 그 두 사람은 반드시 사형에 처해야 한다. 그들은 자기 죄값으로 죽는 것이다.
- 시아버지가 며느리와 동침하면 둘 다 반드시 사형에 처해야 한다. 그들이 한 짓은 망측한 짓이다. 그들은 자기 죄값으로 죽는 것이다.
- 남자가 같은 남자와 동침하여, 여자에게 하듯 그 남자에게 하면, 그 두 사람은 망측한 짓을 한 것이므로 반드시 사형에 처해야 한다. 그들은 자기 죄값으로 죽는 것이다.
- 남자가 자기 아내와 함께 아내의 어머니까지 아울러 취하는 것은 악한 짓이다. 그 남자와 두 여자를 모두 불에 태워 처형해야 한다. 그렇게 해야만, 너희 안에 역겨운 짓이 다시는 생기지 않을 것이다.
- 남자가 짐승과 교접하면, 그는 반드시 사형에 처해야 한다. 그리고 너희는 그 짐승도 죽여야 한다.

- And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
- And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
- And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
- And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.
- And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

- 여자가 어떤 짐승에게 가까이하여 그것과 교접하면, 너희는 그 여자와 그 짐승을 반드시 사형에 처해야 한다. 그 여자와 그 짐승은 자기 죄값으로 죽는 것이다.
- 남자가, 아버지의 딸이든 제 어머니의 딸이든, 누이를 데려다가 그 여자의 벗은 몸을 보고, 그 여자 또한 오라비의 벗은 몸을 보면, 이것은 부끄러운 짓이다. 둘 다 백성에게서 끊어지게 하여야 한다. 그는 누이의 몸을 벗겼으니, 자기 죄를 자기가 짊어져야 한다.
- 남자가 월경을 하는 여자와 동침하여 그 여자의 몸을 범하면, 그는 그 여자의 피 나는 샘을 범한 것이고, 그 여자도 자기의 피 나는 샘을 열어 보인 것이므로, 둘 다 백성에게서 끊어지게 하여야 한다.
- 너는 또 네 이모들의 몸이나, 네 고모들의 몸을 범해서는 안 된다. 그렇게 하는 것은 곧 제 살붙이의 몸을 범하는 것이므로, 그 벌을 면할 길이 없다.
- 숙모와 동침하면, 그는 제 숙부의 몸을 부끄럽게 하는 것이다. 그 둘은 벌을 받아, 자손을 보지 못하고 죽을 것이다.

- And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
- Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
- And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
- But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.
- Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

- 형수나 제수를 데리고 살면, 이것 또한 역겨운 짓이다. 자기 형제의 몸을 부끄럽게 한 것이므로, 그들 역시 자손을 보지 못할 것이다.
- 그러므로 너희는, 내가 세운 모든 규례와 내가 명한 모든 법도를 지켜, 그대로 하여야 한다. 그래야만 내가 너희를 데리고 들어가서 살게 할 그 땅이, 너희를 토해 내지 않을 것이다.
- 너희는, 내가 너희 앞에서 쫓아낼 민족의 풍속을 따라서는 안 된다. 그들이 바로 그런 풍속을 따라 살았기 때문에, 내가 그들을 싫어하였다.
- 내가 전에 너희에게 말하였다. 너희가, 그들이 살던 땅을 물려받게 될 것이다. 나는 그 땅을 너희가 가지도록 주겠다. 그 땅은 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅이다. 나는 너희를 여러 백성 가운데서 골라 낸 주 너희의 하나님이다.
- 그러므로 너는 정한 짐승과 부정한 짐승을 구별하여야 한다. 부정한 새와 정한 새를 구별하여야 한다. 내가 너희에게 부정하다고 따로 구별한 그런 짐승이나 새나 땅에 기어 다니는 어떤 것으로도, 너희 자신을 부정하게 해서는 안 된다.

- And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
- A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.

- 나 주가 거룩하니, 너희도 나에게 거룩한 사람이 되어야 한다. 나는 너희를 뭇 백성 가운데서 골라서, 나의 백성이 되게 하였다.
- 혼백을 불러내는 사람이나 마법을 쓰는 사람은, 남자이든지 여자이든지, 모두 돌로 쳐서 반드시 사형시켜야 한다. 그들은 자기 죄값으로 죽는 것이다."
