민수기 18:1-19:22

 하나님께서는 제사장과 레위인의 직무와 분깃에 대하여 말씀하셨다. 그들은 이스라엘에게 약속하신 기업인 가나안 땅을 분배받지 못하였지만 하나님께서 친히 그들의 기업이 되시므로 백성들의 십일조가 그들의 기업이 되었다. 백성들은 하나님 앞에서 정결케 하는 물에 관한 규례를 행하였다.
  
  레위의 분깃(18:1-18:32)    
 
  1. And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
  2. And thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall minister before the tabernacle of witness.
  3. And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.
  4. And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.
  5. And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.
  1. 주님께서 아론에게 말씀하셨다. "성소를 범한 죄에 대해서는, 너와 너의 아들들과 너와 함께 있는 네 아버지 집 식구들이 책임을 진다. 그리고 제사장 직분을 범한 죄에 대해서는, 너와 너에게 딸린 아들들만이 책임을 진다.
  2. 너는 레위 지파, 곧 네 아버지의 지파에 속한 친족들을 데려다가, 네 가까이에 있게 하여, 너와 너에게 딸린 아들들이 증거의 장막 앞에서 봉사할 때에, 그들이 너를 돕게 하여라.
  3. 그들은 네가 시키는 일만 해야 하며, 장막 일과 관련된 모든 일을 맡아서 해야 한다. 그러나 그들은 성소의 여러 기구나 제단에 가까이하여서는 안 된다. 그렇게 하였다가는, 그들뿐만 아니라 너희마저 죽게 될 것이다.
  4. 그들만이 너와 함께 할 것이고, 회막에서 시키는 일을 할 것이며, 장막에서 하는 모든 의식을 도울 것이다. 다른 사람은 너희에게 접근할 수 없다.
  5. 성소 안에서 하는 일, 제단에서 하는 일은 너희만이 할 수 있다. 그래야만 이스라엘 자손에게, 다시는 진노가 내리지 아니할 것이다.
  1. And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
  2. Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest's office for everything of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest's office unto you as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
  3. And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.
  4. This shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every meat offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons.
  5. In the most holy place shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee.
  1. 나는 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 너희의 친족인 레위 사람을 너희에게 줄 선물로 선택하였다. 그들은 회막 일을 하도록 나 주에게 바쳐진 사람들이다.
  2. 그러나 제단과 관련된 일이나 휘장 안에서 일을 하는 제사장 직무는, 너와 너에게 딸린 아들들만이 할 수 있다. 너희의 제사장 직무는, 내가 너희만 봉사하라고 준 선물이다. 다른 사람이 성소에 접근하면, 죽임을 당할 것이다."
  3. 주님께서 아론에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 제물로 받은 것, 이스라엘 자손이 거룩히 구별하여 나에게 바치는 것은, 모두 너에게 준다. 나는 그것들을, 너와 너의 아들들의 몫으로, 언제나 지켜야 할 규례로 준다.
  4. 다음은 아주 거룩한 것으로서, 너의 것이 될 것이다. 그들이 바친 모든 제물, 곧 그들이 나의 것이라고 하여 나에게 바친 모든 곡식제물과, 그들이 바친 온갖 속죄제물과, 그들이 바친 온갖 속건제물 가운데서, 불태워서 바치고 남은 것은 아주 거룩한 것으로서, 너와 너의 자손이 받을 몫이다.
  5. 너는 그것을 아주 거룩한 곳에서만 먹도록 하여라. 그것은 남자들만 먹는다. 그것은 너에게 아주 거룩한 것이다.
  1. And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.
  2. All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee.
  3. And whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it.
  4. Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine.
  5. Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.
  1. 다음은 너의 것이다. 즉 이스라엘 자손의 제물 가운데서, 들어 올려 바친 것과 그들이 흔들어 바친 것은 모두 너의 것이다. 그것들을 내가 너에게 딸린 아들딸들에게 영원한 분깃으로 주었으니, 너의 집에 있는 정결한 사람은 모두 그것을 먹을 수 있다.
  2. 가장 좋은 기름과 가장 좋은 포도주와 곡식과 그들이 나 주에게 바치는 첫 과일 모두를, 내가 너에게 준다.
  3. 그들의 땅에서 난 처음 익은 열매 가운데서, 그들이 나 주에게 가져 오는 것은 모두 너의 것이다. 너희 집에 있는 정결한 사람은 모두 그것을 먹을 수 있다.
  4. 이스라엘 안에서 나의 몫으로 바쳐진 것은 다 너의 것이다.
  5. 그들이 나 주에게 바치면, 사람이거나 짐승이거나, 어떤 것이든지 살아 있는 것들의 태를 처음 열고 나온 것은, 모두 너의 것이다. 그러나 사람의 맏이는 네가 속전을 받고 반드시 되돌려 주어야 한다. 부정한 짐승의 맏배도 속전을 받고 되돌려 주어야 한다.
  1. And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.
  2. But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
  3. And the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder are thine.
  4. All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.
  5. And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.
  1. 나에게 바친 것이 속전을 받고 되돌려 줄 것이면, 난 지 한 달 만에 되돌려 주어야 한다. 속전은 한 세겔 당 스무 게라 나가는 성소의 세겔에 따라서 네가 은 다섯 세겔로 정해 주어라.
  2. 그러나 암소의 맏배나, 양의 맏배나, 염소의 맏배는 속전을 받고 되돌려 주지 못한다. 그것들은 거룩한 것이다. 너는, 그것들의 피는 제단 위에 뿌리고, 그것들의 기름기는 불태워 바치는 제물로 불살라서, 나 주를 기쁘게 하는 향기로 나 주에게 바쳐라.
  3. 그러나 흔들어 바친 가슴 고기와 오른쪽 넓적다리가 너의 것인 것처럼, 그것들의 고기도 너의 것이다.
  4. 이스라엘 자손이 들어 올려 나 주에게 바친 거룩한 제물은, 내가 너와 너에게 딸린 아들딸들에게 영원한 분깃으로 모두 준다. 이것은 너와 너의 자손을 위하여 주 앞에서 대대로 지켜야 하는 소금 언약이다."
  5. 주님께서 아론에게 말씀하셨다. "너는 그들의 땅에서는 아무런 유산도 없다. 그들과 더불어 함께 나눌 몫이 너에게는 없다. 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 네가 받은 몫, 네가 차지할 유산은 바로 나다."
  1. And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
  2. Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.
  3. But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.
  4. But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.
  5. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
  1. "나는 레위 자손에게는 이스라엘 안에서 바치는 열의 하나를 모두 그들이 받을 유산으로 준다. 이것은 그들이 회막 일을 거드는 것에 대한 보수이다.
  2. 이제부터 이스라엘 자손은 회막에 접근하여서는 안 된다. 그렇게 하다가는 그 죄값을 지고 죽을 것이다.
  3. 회막 일은 레위 사람들이 한다. 이것을 어긴 죄값은 레위 사람이 진다. 이것은 오고오는 세대에 언제나 지켜야 할 율례이다. 그들은 이스라엘 자손 사이에서 아무런 유산이 없다.
  4. 그 대신에 나는 그들에게, 이스라엘 자손이 나에게 들어 올려 바치는 제물, 곧 열의 하나를 그들의 유산으로 준다. 그러므로 나는, 그들은 이스라엘 자손 사이에서 아무런 유산도 없다고 그들에게 말하였다."
  5. 주님께서 모세에게 다음과 같이 말씀하셨다.
  1. Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.
  2. And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fulness of the winepress.
  3. Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD's heave offering to Aaron the priest.
  4. Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it.
  5. Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress.
  1. "레위 사람에게 말하여라. 너는 그들에게 일러라. 너희가 이스라엘 자손에게서, 내가 너희에게 유산으로 주는 열의 하나를 받을 때에, 너희는 열의 하나 받은 것에서 열째 몫을, 나 주에게 들어 올려 바치는 제물로 드려라.
  2. 나는 너희가 바치는 그 제물을, 너희가 타작 마당에서 떼어 낸 곡식처럼, 포도 짜는 틀에서 떠낸 포도주처럼 여길 것이다.
  3. 이렇게 너희는 이스라엘 자손에게서 받는 모든 것에서 열의 하나를 떼어, 나 주에게 들어 올려 바치는 제물로 드리고, 나 주에게 드린 그 제물은 제사장 아론의 몫으로 돌려라.
  4. 너희는 주의 몫으로는 너희가 받는 모든 것 가운데서 가장 좋고 가장 거룩한 부분을, 들어 올려 바치는 제물로 모두 바쳐야 한다.
  5. 너는 또 그들에게 말하여라. 너희가 가장 좋은 부분을 들어 올려 바칠 때에, 나는 그것을 레위 사람이 타작 마당이나 포도 짜는 틀에서 나온 것을 바치는 것처럼 여길 것이다.
  1. And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation.
  2. And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye have heaved from it the best of it: neither shall ye pollute the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die.
  1. 그 나머지는 너희와 너희 집안 사람이 어디에서나 먹어라. 그것은 너희가 회막에서 하는 일에 대한 보수이기 때문이다.
  2. 가장 좋은 부분을 들어 올려 바침으로써, 너희는 이 일에 죄를 짓지 아니할 것이다. 너희는 이스라엘이 바친 거룩한 제물을 더럽히지 않도록 하여라. 그래야만 너희가 죽지 않는다."
 
  정결케 하는 물(19:1-19:22)    
 
  1. And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
  2. This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:
  3. And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:
  4. And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:
  5. And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:
  1. 주님께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "다음은 나 주가 명하는 법의 율례다. 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 말하여, 흠 없는 온전한 붉은 암송아지, 곧 아직 멍에를 메어 본 일이 없는 것을, 너에게 끌고 오게 하여라.
  3. 너는 그것을 제사장 엘르아살에게 주어라. 그러면 그는 그것을 진 밖으로 끌고 가서, 자기가 보는 앞에서 잡게 할 것이다.
  4. 제사장 엘르아살은 그 피를 손가락에 찍고, 그 피를 회막 앞쪽으로 일곱 번 뿌려야 한다.
  5. 그 암송아지는 제사장이 보는 앞에서 불살라야 하며, 그 가죽과 고기와 피와 똥을 불살라야 한다.
  1. And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.
  2. Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.
  3. And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
  4. And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.
  5. And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.
  1. 제사장은 백향목과 우슬초와 홍색 털실을 가져 와서, 암송아지를 사르고 있는 그 불 가운데 그것들을 던져야 한다.
  2. 그런 다음에 제사장은 자기의 옷을 빨고, 물로 몸을 씻어야 한다. 그렇게 한 다음에야 그는 진 안으로 들어올 수 있다. 그 제사장의 부정한 상태는 저녁때까지 계속될 것이다.

  1. He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
  2. He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
  3. Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.
  4. This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
  5. And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.
  1. "어느 누구의 주검이든, 사람의 주검에 몸이 닿은 사람은 이레 동안 부정하다.
  2. 그는 사흘째 되는 날과 이레째 되는 날, 붉은 암송아지를 불사른 재를 탄 물로 스스로 정결하게 하여야 한다. 그러면 정하게 될 것이다. 그러나 그가 사흘째 되는 날과 이레째 되는 날에 자기의 몸을 정결하게 하지 않으면, 그냥 부정하다.
  3. 누구든지 주검, 곧 죽은 사람의 몸에 닿고도 스스로 정결하게 하지 않은 사람은, 주의 성막을 더럽히는 사람이다. 그 사람은 반드시 이스라엘에서 끊어져야 한다. 정결하게 하는 물을 그 몸에 뿌리지 아니하여 자신의 부정을 씻지 못하였으므로, 그의 부정이 여전히 그에게 남아 있기 때문이다.
  4. 다음은 장막에서 사람이 죽을 때에 지켜야 할 법이다. 그 장막 안으로 들어가는 사람이나 그 장막 안에 있는 사람은, 모두 이레 동안 부정하다.
  5. 어떤 그릇이든지, 그 위의 뚜껑을 열어 놓고 덮지 아니한 그릇들도 부정하게 된다.
  1. And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
  2. And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:
  3. And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:
  4. And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.
  5. But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
  1. 들판에 있다가 칼에 맞아 죽은 사람이나, 그냥 죽은 사람이나, 그 죽은 사람의 뼈나, 아니면 그 무덤에라도 몸이 닿은 사람은, 누구나 이레 동안 부정하다.
  2. 그렇게 부정하게 되었을 때에는, 붉은 암송아지를 불사른 재를 그릇에 떠다가, 거기에 생수를 부어 죄를 씻는 물을 만든다.
  3. 그렇게 한 다음에, 정한 사람이 우슬초를 가져 와서, 그것으로 이 물을 찍어, 장막 위에와, 모든 기구 위에와, 거기에 있는 사람들 위에와, 뼈나 살해당한 자나 죽은 자나 무덤에 몸이 닿은 사람 위에 뿌린다.
  4. 정한 사람이 사흘째 되는 날과 이레째 되는 날에, 부정한 사람에게 이 잿물을 뿌려 준다. 그러면 이레째 되는 날, 부정을 탄 그 사람은 정하게 된다. 그는 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻는다. 저녁때가 되면, 그는 정하게 된다.
  5. 그러나 부정을 탄 사람이, 그 부정을 씻어 내지 아니하면, 그 사람은 총회에서 제명되어야 한다. 정결하게 하는 물을 그의 위에 뿌리지 아니하여 그 더러움을 씻지 못하면, 주의 성소를 더럽히는 것이기 때문이다.
  1. And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.
  2. And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.
  1. 이것은 그들이 언제까지나 지켜야 할 율례이다. 정결하게 하는 물을 뿌린 사람도 자기의 옷을 빨아야 한다. 정결하게 하는 물에 몸이 닿아도, 그는 저녁때까지 부정하다.
  2. 부정한 사람이 닿은 것은 무엇이든지 부정하며, 그것에 몸이 닿은 사람도 저녁때까지 부정하다."
