- O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
- To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
- Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
- Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
- My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

- 하나님, 주님은 나의 하나님입니다. 내가 주님을 애타게 찾습니다. 물기 없는 땅, 메마르고 황폐한 땅에서 내 영혼이 주님을 찾아 목이 마르고, 이 몸도 주님을 애타게 그리워합니다.
- 내가 성소에서 주님을 뵙고 주님의 권능과 주님의 영광을 봅니다.
- 주님의 한결같은 사랑이 생명보다 더 소중하기에, 내 입술로 주님께 영광을 돌립니다.
- 이 생명 다하도록 주님을 찬양하렵니다. 내가 손을 들어서 주님의 이름을 찬양하렵니다.
- 기름지고 맛깔진 음식을 배불리 먹은 듯이 내 영혼이 만족하니, 내가 기쁨에 가득 찬 입술로 주님을 찬양하렵니다.

- When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
- Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
- My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
- But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
- They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

- 잠자리에 들어서도 주님만을 기억하고 밤을 새우면서도 주님만을 생각합니다.
- 주님께서 나를 도우셨기에 나 이제 주님의 날개 그늘 아래에서 즐거이 노래하렵니다.
- 이 몸이 주님께 매달리니, 주님의 오른손이 나를 꼭 붙잡아 주십니다.
- 나를 죽이려고 노리는 자는 땅 아래 깊은 곳으로 떨어질 것이다.
- 그들은 칼을 맞고 쓰러지고, 그 주검은 승냥이의 밥이 될 것이다.

- But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
|
- 그러나 우리의 왕은 하나님을 기뻐하며, 하나님의 이름으로 맹세하는 사람들은 모두 왕을 칭송할 것이다. 그러나 거짓말을 하는 자들은 말문이 막힐 것이다.
