- O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
- Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
- For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
- Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.
- Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

- 백성아, 우리의 하나님을 찬양하여라. 그분을 찬양하는 노랫소리, 크게 울려 퍼지게 하여라.
- 우리의 생명을 붙들어 주셔서, 우리가 실족하여 넘어지지 않게 살펴 주신다.
- 하나님, 주님께서 우리를 시험하셔서, 은을 달구어 정련하듯 우리를 연단하셨습니다.
- 우리를 그물에 걸리게 하시고, 우리의 등에 무거운 짐을 지우시고,
- 사람들을 시켜서 우리의 머리를 짓밟게 하시니, 우리가 불 속으로, 우리가 물 속으로 뛰어들었습니다. 그러나 주님께서 우리를 마침내 건지셔서, 모든 것이 풍족한 곳으로 이끌어 주셨습니다.

- I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
- Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
- I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
- Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
- I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

- 내가 번제를 드리러 주님의 집으로 왔습니다. 이제 내가 주님께 서원제를 드립니다.
- 이 서원은, 내가 고난받고 있을 때에, 이 입술을 열어서, 이 입으로 주님께 아뢴 것입니다.
- 내가 숫양의 향기와 함께 살진 번제물을 가지고, 주님께로 나아옵니다. 숫염소와 함께 수소를 드립니다. （셀라）
- 하나님을 두려워하는 사람들아, 오너라. 그가 나에게 하신 일을 증언할 터이니, 다 와서 들어라.
- 나는 주님께 도와 달라고 내 입으로 부르짖었다. 내 혀로 주님을 찬양하였다.

- If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
- But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
- Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.

- 내가 마음 속으로 악한 생각을 품었더라면, 주님께서 나에게 응답하지 않으셨을 것이다.
- 그러나 하나님은 나에게 응답하여 주시고, 나의 기도 소리에 귀를 기울여 주셨다.
- 내 기도를 물리치지 않으시고, 한결같은 사랑을 나에게서 거두지 않으신 하나님, 찬양받으십시오.
