- Then the LORD awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine.
- And he smote his enemies in the hinder parts: he put them to a perpetual reproach.
- Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:
- But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.
- And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.

- 드디어 주님은 잠에서 깨어난 것처럼 분연히 일어나셨다. 포도주로 달아오른 용사처럼 일어나셨다.
- 원수들을 뒤쫓아가서 쳐부수시며, 길이길이 그들을 욕되게 하셨다.
- 그리고 주님은 요셉의 장막을 버리시고, 에브라임 지파도 선택하지 아니하셨다.
- 오히려, 유다 지파만을 선택하셨으며, 그가 사랑하신 시온 산을 뽑으셨다.
- 그곳에서 주님은 주님의 성소를 높은 하늘처럼 세우셨다. 영원히 흔들리지 않는 터전 위에 세우셨다.

- He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:
- From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.
- So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

- 주님의 종 다윗을 선택하시되, 양의 우리에서 일하는 그를 뽑으셨다.
- 암양을 돌보는 그를 데려다가, 주님의 백성 야곱과 주님의 유산 이스라엘의 목자가 되게 하셨다.
- 그는 한결같은 마음으로 그들을 기르고, 슬기로운 손길로 그들을 인도하였다.
