- 내 영혼이 주님의 궁전 뜰을 그리워하고 사모합니다. 내 마음도 이 몸도, 살아 계신 하나님께 기쁨의 노래 부릅니다.
- 만군의 주님, 나의 왕, 나의 하나님, 참새도 주님의 제단 곁에서 제 집을 짓고, 제비도 새끼 칠 보금자리를 얻습니다.
- 주님의 집에 사는 사람들은 복됩니다. 그들은 영원토록 주님을 찬양합니다. （셀라）

- 주님의 집 뜰 안에서 지내는 하루가 다른 곳에서 지내는 천 날보다 낫기에, 악인의 장막에서 살기보다는, 하나님의 집 문지기로 있는 것이 더 좋습니다.
