이사야 3:1-5:30

 하나님께서는 유다와 예루살렘의 죄악으로 인해 백성들이 심판을 받고 슬퍼하며 통곡할 것이라고 하셨다. 그러나 예루살렘에 남아 있는 자들은 하나님의 구원을 받게 될 것이라고 하셨다. 또한, 이스라엘을 포도원으로 비유하면서 들포도를 맺는 유다인들의 불신앙에 대하여 하나님의 심판이 있을 것이라고 엄중히 경고하셨다.
  
  이스라엘의 죄악과 심판(3:1-4:6)    
 
  1. For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.
  2. The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,
  3. The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.
  4. And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
  5. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.
  1. 주 만군의 주님께서 예루살렘과 유다에서 백성이 의지하는 것을 모두 없애실 것이다. 그들이 의지하는 모든 빵과 모든 물을 없애시며,
  2. 용사와 군인과 재판관과 예언자, 점쟁이와 장로,
  3. 오십부장과 귀족과 군 고문관, 능숙한 마술사와 능란한 요술쟁이를 없애실 것이다.
  4. "내가 철부지들을 그들의 지배자로 세우고, 어린것들이 그들을 다스리게 하겠다.
  5. 백성이 서로 억누르고, 사람이 서로 치고, 이웃이 서로 싸우고, 젊은이가 노인에게 대들고, 천한 자가 존귀한 사람에게 예의없이 대할 것이다."
  1. When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
  2. In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
  3. For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
  4. The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
  5. Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
  1. 한 사람이 제 집안의 한 식구를 붙잡고 "너는 옷이라도 걸쳤으니, 우리의 통치자가 되어 다오. 이 폐허에서 우리를 다시 일으켜 다오" 하고 부탁을 하여도,
  2. 바로 그 날에, 그가 큰소리로 부르짖을 것이다. "나에게는 묘안이 없다. 나의 집에는 빵도 없고 옷도 없다. 나를 이 백성의 통치자로 세우지 말아라."
  3. 드디어 예루살렘이 넘어지고 유다는 쓰러진다. 그들이 말과 행동으로 주님께 대항하며, 하나님의 영광스러운 현존을 모독하였기 때문이다.
  4. 그들의 안색이 자신들의 죄를 고발한다. 그들이 소돔과 같이 자기들의 죄를 드러내 놓고 말하며, 숨기려 하지도 않는다. 그들에게 화가 미칠 것이다. 그들은 스스로 재앙을 불러들인다.
  5. 의로운 사람에게 말하여라. 그들에게 복이 있고, 그들이 한 일에 보답을 받고, 기쁨을 누릴 것이라고 말하여라.
  1. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
  2. As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
  3. The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
  4. The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
  5. What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
  1. 악한 자에게는 화가 미칠 것이다. 재난이 그들을 뒤덮을 것이다. 그들이 저지른 그대로 보복을 받을 것이다.
  2. "아이들이 내 백성을 억누르며, 여인들이 백성을 다스린다. 내 백성아, 네 지도자들이 길을 잘못 들게 하며, 가야 할 길에서 벗어나게 하는구나."
  3. 주님께서 재판하시려고 법정에 앉으신다. 그의 백성을 심판하시려고 들어오신다.
  4. 주님께서 백성의 장로들과 백성의 지도자들을 세워 놓고, 재판을 시작하신다. "나의 포도원을 망쳐 놓은 자들이 바로 너희다. 가난한 사람들을 약탈해서, 너희 집을 가득 채웠다.
  5. 어찌하여 너희는 나의 백성을 짓밟으며, 어찌하여 너희는 가난한 사람들의 얼굴을 마치 맷돌질하듯 짓뭉갰느냐?" 만군의 하나님이신 주님의 말씀이다.
  1. Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
  2. Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
  3. In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
  4. The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
  5. The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
  1. 주님께서 말씀하신다. "시온의 딸들이 교만하여 목을 길게 빼고 다니며, 호리는 눈짓을 하고 다니며, 꼬리를 치고 걸으며, 발목에서 잘랑잘랑 소리를 내는구나.
  2. 그러므로 나 주가 시온의 딸들 정수리에 딱지가 생기게 하며, 나 주가 그들의 하체를 드러낼 것이다."
  3. 그 날이 오면, 주님께서는 여인들에게서, 발목 장식, 머리 망사, 반달 장식,
  4. 귀고리, 팔찌, 머리 쓰개,
  5. 머리 장식, 발찌, 허리띠, 향수병, 부적,
  1. The rings, and nose jewels,
  2. The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
  3. The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
  4. And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
  5. Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
  1. 가락지, 코걸이,
  2. 고운 옷, 겉옷, 외투, 손지갑,
  3. 손거울, 모시 옷, 머릿수건, 너울 들을 다 벗기실 것이다.
  4. 그들에게서는 향수 내음 대신에 썩는 냄새가 나고, 고운 허리띠를 띠던 허리에는 새끼줄이 감기고, 곱게 빗어 넘기던 머리는 다 빠져서 대머리가 되고, 고운 옷을 걸치던 몸에는 상복을 걸치고, 고운 얼굴 대신에 수치의 자국만 남을 것이다.
  5. 너를 따르던 남자들이 칼에 쓰러지며, 너를 따르던 용사들이 전쟁터에서 쓰러질 것이다.
  1. And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.
  1. 시온의 성문들이 슬퍼하며 곡할 것이요, 황폐된 시온은 땅바닥에 주저앉을 것이다.
 
 
  1. And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
  2. In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
  3. And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
  4. When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
  5. And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
  1. 그 날이 오면, 일곱 여자가 한 남자를 붙잡고 애원할 것이다. "우리가 먹을 것은 우리가 챙기고, 우리가 입을 옷도 우리가 마련할 터이니, 다만 우리가 당신을 우리의 남편이라고 부르게만 해주세요. 시집도 못갔다는 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 해주세요."
  2. 그 날이 오면, 주님께서 돋게 하신 싹이 아름다워지고 영화롭게 될 것이며, 이스라엘 안에 살아 남은 사람들에게는, 그 땅의 열매가 자랑거리가 되고 영광이 될 것이다.
  3. 또한 그 때에는, 시온에 남아 있는 사람들, 예루살렘에 머물러 있는 사람들, 곧 예루살렘에 살아 있다고 명단에 기록된 사람들은 모두 '거룩하다'고 일컬어질 것이다.
  4. 그리고 주님께서 딸 시온의 부정을 씻어 주시고, 심판의 영과 불의 영을 보내셔서, 예루살렘의 피를 말끔히 닦아 주실 것이다.
  5. 그런 다음에 주님께서는, 시온 산의 모든 지역과 거기에 모인 회중 위에, 낮에는 연기와 구름을 만드시고, 밤에는 타오르는 불길로 빛을 만드셔서, 예루살렘을 닫집처럼 덮어서 보호하실 것이다.
  1. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
  1. 하나님께서는 예루살렘을 그의 영광으로 덮으셔서, 한낮의 더위를 막는 그늘을 만드시고, 예루살렘으로 폭풍과 비를 피하는 피신처가 되게 하실 것이다.
 
  심판의 저주(5:1-5:30)    
 
  1. Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
  2. And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
  3. And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
  4. What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
  5. And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
  1. 내가 사랑하는 이에게 노래를 해 주겠네. 그가 가꾸는 포도원을 노래하겠네. 내가 사랑하는 사람은 기름진 언덕에서 포도원을 가꾸고 있네.
  2. 땅을 일구고 돌을 골라 내고, 아주 좋은 포도나무를 심었네. 그 한가운데 망대를 세우고, 거기에 포도주 짜는 곳도 파 놓고, 좋은 포도가 맺기를 기다렸는데, 열린 것이라고는 들포도뿐이었다네.
  3. 예루살렘 주민아, 유다 사람들아, 이제 너희는 나와 나의 포도원 사이에서 한 번 판단하여 보아라.
  4. 내가 나의 포도원을 가꾸면서 빠뜨린 것이 무엇이냐? 내가 하지 않은 일이라도 있느냐? 나는 좋은 포도가 맺기를 기다렸는데 어찌하여 들포도가 열렸느냐?
  5. "이제 내가 내 포도원에 무슨 일을 하려는지를 너희에게 말하겠다. 울타리를 걷어치워서, 그 밭을 못쓰게 만들고, 담을 허물어서 아무나 그 밭을 짓밟게 하겠다.
  1. And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
  2. For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
  3. Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
  4. In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.
  5. Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.
  1. 내가 그 밭을 황무지로 만들겠다. 가지치기도 못하게 하고 북주기도 못하게 하여, 찔레나무와 가시나무만 자라나게 하겠다. 내가 또한 구름에게 명하여, 그 위에 비를 내리지 못하게 하겠다."
  2. 이스라엘은 만군의 주님의 포도원이고, 유다 백성은 주님께서 심으신 포도나무다. 주님께서는 그들이 선한 일 하기를 기대하셨는데, 보이는 것은 살육뿐이다. 주님께서는 그들이 옳은 일 하기를 기대하셨는데, 들리는 것은 그들에게 희생된 사람들의 울부짖음뿐이다.
  3. 너희가, 더 차지할 곳이 없을 때까지, 집에 집을 더하고, 밭에 밭을 늘려 나가, 땅 한가운데서 홀로 살려고 하였으니, 너희에게 재앙이 닥친다!
  4. 만군의 주님께서 나의 귀에다 말씀하셨다. "많은 집들이 반드시 황폐해지고, 아무리 크고 좋은 집들이라도 텅 빈 흉가가 되어서, 사람 하나 거기에 살지 않을 것이다.
  5. 또한 열흘 갈이 포도원이 포도주 한 바트밖에 내지 못하며, 한 호멜의 씨가 겨우 한 에바밖에 내지 못할 것이다."
  1. Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
  2. And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
  3. Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
  4. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
  5. And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
  1. 아침에 일찍 일어나 독한 술을 찾는 사람과, 밤이 늦도록 포도주에 얼이 빠져 있는 사람에게, 재앙이 닥친다!
  2. 그들이, 연회에는 수금과 거문고와 소구와 피리와 포도주를 갖추었어도, 주님께서 하시는 일에는 관심이 없고, 주님께서 손수 이루시는 일도 거들떠보지를 않는다.
  3. "그러므로 나의 백성은 지식이 없어서 포로가 될 것이요, 귀족은 굶주리고 평민은 갈증으로 목이 탈 것이다."
  4. 그러므로 스올이 입맛을 크게 다시면서, 그 입을 한없이 벌리니, 그들의 영화와 법석거림과 떠드는 소리와 즐거워하는 소리가, 다 그 곳으로 빠져 들어갈 것이다.
  5. 그래서 천한 사람도 굴욕을 당하고 귀한 사람도 비천해지며, 눈을 치켜 뜨고 한껏 거만을 부리던 자들도 기가 꺾일 것이다.
  1. But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.
  2. Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.
  3. Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
  4. That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!
  5. Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
  1. 그러나 만군의 주님께서는 공평하셔서 높임을 받으시고, 거룩하신 하나님은 의로우셔서 거룩하신 분으로 기림을 받으실 것이다.
  2. 그 때에 어린 양들이 그 폐허에서 마치 초장에서처럼 풀을 뜯을 것이며, 낯선 사람들이, 망한 부자들의 밭에서 그 산물을 먹을 것이다.
  3. 거짓으로 끈을 만들어 악을 잡아당기며, 수레의 줄을 당기듯이 죄를 끌어당기는 자들에게 재앙이 닥친다!
  4. 기껏 한다는 말이 "하나님더러 서두르시라고 하여라. 그분이 하고자 하시는 일을 빨리 하시라고 하여라. 그래야 우리가 볼 게 아니냐. 계획을 빨리 이루시라고 하여라. 이스라엘의 거룩하신 분께서 세우신 계획이 빨리 이루어져야 우리가 그것을 알 게 아니냐!" 하는구나.
  5. 악한 것을 선하다고 하고 선한 것을 악하다고 하는 자들, 어둠을 빛이라고 하고 빛을 어둠이라고 하며, 쓴 것을 달다고 하고 단 것을 쓰다고 하는 자들에게, 재앙이 닥친다!
  1. Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
  2. Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
  3. Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
  4. Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
  5. Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
  1. 스스로 지혜롭다 하며, 스스로 슬기롭다 하는 그들에게, 재앙이 닥친다!
  2. 포도주쯤은 말로 마시고, 온갖 독한 술을 섞어 마시고도 끄떡도 하지 않는 자들에게, 재앙이 닥친다!
  3. 그들은 뇌물을 받고 악인을 의롭다고 하며, 의인의 정당한 권리를 빼앗는구나.
  4. 그러므로 지푸라기가 불길에 휩싸이듯, 마른 풀이 불꽃에 타들어 가듯, 그들의 뿌리가 썩고, 꽃잎이 말라서, 티끌처럼 없어질 것이다. 그들은 만군의 주님의 율법을 버리고, 이스라엘의 거룩하신 분의 말씀을 멸시하였다.
  5. 그러므로 주님께서 백성에게 진노하셔서 손을 들어 그들을 치시니, 산들이 진동하고, 사람의 시체가 거리 한가운데 버려진 쓰레기와 같다. 그래도 주님께서는 진노를 풀지 않으시고, 심판을 계속하시려고 여전히 손을 들고 계신다.
  1. And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
  2. None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:
  3. Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
  4. Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
  5. And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
  1. 주님께서 깃발을 올리셔서 먼 곳의 민족들을 부르시고, 휘파람으로 그들을 땅 끝에서부터 부르신다. 그들이 빠르게 달려오고 있다.
  2. 그들 가운데 아무도 지쳐 있거나 비틀거리는 사람이 없고, 졸거나 잠자는 사람이 없으며, 허리띠가 풀리거나 신발끈이 끊어진 사람이 없다.
  3. 그들의 화살은 예리하게 날이 서 있고, 모든 활시위는 쏠 준비가 되어 있다. 달리는 말발굽은 부싯돌처럼 보이고, 병거 바퀴는 회오리바람과 같이 구른다.
  4. 그 군대의 함성은 암사자의 포효와 같고, 그 고함 소리는 새끼 사자의 으르렁거림과 같다. 그들이 소리 치며 전리품을 움켜 가 버리나, 아무도 그것을 빼앗지 못한다.
  5. 바로 그 날에, 그들이 이 백성을 보고서, 바다의 성난 파도같이 함성을 지를 것이니, 사람이 그 땅을 둘러보면, 거기에는 흑암과 고난만 있고, 빛마저 구름에 가려져 어두울 것이다.
 
  촉범(觸犯, 3:8)  해서는 안될 일을 행함, 주님이 뻔히 보고 계신 앞에서 범죄한다는 의미
