- Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
- My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
- LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
- Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
- Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

- 나의 반석이신 주님을 내가 찬송하련다. 주님은 내 손을 훈련시켜 전쟁에 익숙하게 하셨고, 내 손가락을 단련시켜 전투에도 익숙하게 하셨다.
- 주님은 나의 반석, 나의 요새, 나의 산성, 나의 구원자, 나의 방패, 나의 피난처, 뭇 백성을 나의 발 아래에 굴복하게 하신다.
- 주님, 사람이 무엇이기에 그렇게 생각하여 주십니까? 인생이 무엇이기에 이토록 생각하여 주십니까?
- 사람은 한낱 숨결과 같고, 그의 일생은 사라지는 그림자와 같습니다.
- 주님, 하늘을 낮게 드리우시고, 내려오시며, 산들을 만지시어 산마다 연기를 뿜어 내게 하십시오.

- Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.
- Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
- Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

- 번개를 번쩍여서 원수들을 흩으시고, 화살을 쏘셔서 그들을 혼란에 빠뜨려 주십시오.
- 높은 곳에서 주님의 손을 내미셔서 거센 물결에서 나를 끌어내시고, 외적의 손에서 나를 건져 주십시오.
- 그들의 입은 헛된 것을 말하며, 그들이 맹세하는 오른손은 거짓으로 속이는 손입니다.
