- Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
- While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
- Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
- His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
- Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

- 할렐루야. 내 영혼아, 주님을 찬양하여라.
- 내가 평생토록 주님을 찬양하며 내가 살아 있는 한, 내 하나님을 찬양하겠다.
- 너희는 힘있는 고관을 의지하지 말며, 구원할 능력이 없는 사람을 의지하지 말아라.
- 사람은 숨 한 번 끊어지면 흙으로 돌아가니, 그가 세운 모든 계획이 바로 그 날로 다 사라지고 만다.
- 야곱의 하나님을 자기의 도움으로 삼고 자기의 하나님이신 주님께 희망을 거는 사람은, 복이 있다.

- Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
- Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
- The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
- The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
- The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.

- 주님은, 하늘과 땅과 바다 속에 있는 모든 것을 지으시며, 영원히 신의를 지키시며,
- 억눌린 사람을 위해 공의로 재판하시며, 굶주린 사람에게 먹을 것을 주시며, 감옥에 갇힌 죄수를 석방시켜 주시며
- 눈먼 사람에게 눈을 뜨게 해주시고, 낮은 곳에 있는 사람을 일으켜 세우시는 분이시다. 주님은 의인을 사랑하시고,
- 나그네를 지켜 주시고, 고아와 과부를 도와주시지만 악인의 길은 멸망으로 이끄신다.
- 시온아, 주님께서 영원히 다스리신다! 나의 하나님께서 대대로 다스리신다! 할렐루야.
