- 까닭없는 저주는 아무에게도 미치지 않으니, 이는 마치 참새가 떠도는 것과 같고, 제비가 날아가는 것과 같다.
- 말에게는 채찍, 나귀에게는 재갈, 미련한 사람의 등에는 매가 필요하다.
- 미련한 사람이 어리석은 말을 할 때에는 대답하지 말아라. 너도 그와 같은 사람이 될까 두렵다.
