´©°¡º¹À½ 4:1-4:32

¿¹¼ö´ÔÀº ¼º·É¿¡ À̲ø¸®¾î ±¤¾ß¿¡¼­ »ç½Ê ÀÏ µ¿¾È ±Ý½ÄÇϽŠÈÄ ¸¶±ÍÀÇ ½ÃÇèÀ» ¹ÞÀ¸½Ã°í ½Â¸®Çϼ̴Ù. ¿¹¼ö´ÔÀº ¼º·ÉÀÇ ±Ç´ÉÀ¸·Î °¥¸±¸®¿¡¼­ °ø»ý¾ÖÀÇ »ç¿ªÀ» ½ÃÀÛÇϼ̴Ù.
 
  ±¤¾ß ½ÃÇè(4:1-4:32)    
 
  1. And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
  2. Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
  3. And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
  4. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
  5. And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
  1. Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the desert,
  2. where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.
  3. The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread."
  4. Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone.'"
  5. The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world.
  1. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
  2. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
  3. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
  4. And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
  5. For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
  1. And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to.
  2. So if you worship me, it will all be yours."
  3. Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'"
  4. The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down from here.
  5. For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully;
  1. And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
  2. And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
  3. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
  4. And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
  5. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
  1. they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'"
  2. Jesus answered, "It says: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"
  3. When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time.
  4. Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.
  5. He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.
  1. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
  2. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
  3. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
  4. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
  5. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
  1. He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read.
  2. The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
  3. "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed,
  4. to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
  5. Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him,
  1. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
  2. And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?
  3. And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
  4. And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.
  5. But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
  1. and he began by saying to them, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."
  2. All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. "Isn't this Joseph's son?" they asked.
  3. Jesus said to them, "Surely you will quote this proverb to me: 'Physician, heal yourself! Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.' "
  4. "I tell you the truth," he continued, "no prophet is accepted in his hometown.
  5. I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah's time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land.
  1. But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
  2. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.
  3. And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
  4. And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.
  5. But he passing through the midst of them went his way,
  1. Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon.
  2. And there were many in Israel with leprosy in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed--only Naaman the Syrian."
  3. All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this.
  4. They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him down the cliff.
  5. But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way.
  1. And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.
  2. And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
  1. Then he went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and on the Sabbath began to teach the people.
  2. They were amazed at his teaching, because his message had authority.
