  1. Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord.
  2. Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved.
  3. Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus' household.
  4. Salute Herodion my kinsman. Greet them that be of the household of Narcissus, which are in the Lord.
  5. Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, which laboured much in the Lord.
  1. Greet Ampliatus, whom I love in the Lord.
  2. Greet Urbanus, our fellow worker in Christ, and my dear friend Stachys.
  3. Greet Apelles, tested and approved in Christ. Greet those who belong to the household of Aristobulus.
  4. Greet Herodion, my relative. Greet those in the household of Narcissus who are in the Lord.
  5. Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, those women who work hard in the Lord. Greet my dear friend Persis, another woman who has worked very hard in the Lord.
  1. Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine.
  2. Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren which are with them.
  3. Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints which are with them.
  4. Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.
  5. Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
  1. Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord, and his mother, who has been a mother to me, too.
  2. Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas and the brothers with them.
  3. Greet Philologus, Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas and all the saints with them.
  4. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ send greetings.
  5. I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
  1. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
  2. For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
  3. And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
  4. Timotheus my workfellow, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, salute you.
  5. I Tertius, who wrote this epistle, salute you in the Lord.
  1. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.
  2. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.
  3. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
  4. Timothy, my fellow worker, sends his greetings to you, as do Lucius, Jason and Sosipater, my relatives.
  5. I, Tertius, who wrote down this letter, greet you in the Lord.
  1. Gaius mine host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. Erastus the chamberlain of the city saluteth you, and Quartus a brother.
  2. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
  3. Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
  4. But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
  5. To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
  1. Gaius, whose hospitality I and the whole church here enjoy, sends you his greetings. Erastus, who is the city's director of public works, and our brother Quartus send you their greetings.
  2. Now to him who is able to establish you by my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past,
  3. but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey him--
  4. to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.
