- When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
- And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
- And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
- And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
- And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

- イエス が 山から 降りて 來られると， 多くの 群衆が イエス に 從った．
- すると， ひとりのらい 病人がみもとに 來て， ひれ 伏して 言った． 「主よ． お 心一つで， 私をきよめることがおできになります． 」
- イエス は 手を 伸ばして， 彼にさわり， 「わたしの 心だ． きよくなれ． 」と 言われた． すると， すぐに 彼のらい 病はきよめられた．
- イエス は 彼に 言われた． 「氣をつけて， だれにも 話さないようにしなさい． ただ， 人¿へのあかしのために， 行って， 自分を 祭司に 見せなさい． そして， モ ― セ の 命じた 供え 物をささげなさい． 」
- イエス が カペナウム にはいられると， ひとりの 百人隊長がみもとに 來て， 懇願して，

- And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
- And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
- The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
- For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
- When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

- 言った． 「主よ． 私のしもべが 中風やみで， 家に 寢ていて， ひどく 苦しんでおります． 」
- イエス は 彼に 言われた． 「行って， 直してあげよう． 」
- しかし， 百人隊長は 答えて 言った． 「主よ． あなたを 私の 屋根の 下にお 入れする 資格は， 私にはありません． ただ， おことばをいただかせてください． そうすれば， 私のしもべは 直りますから．
- と 申しますのは， 私も 權威の 下にある 者ですが， 私自身の 下にも 兵士たちがいまして， そのひとりに『行け． 』と 言えば 行きますし， 別の 者に『來い． 』と 言えば 來ます． また， しもべに『これをせよ． 』と 言えば， そのとおりにいたします． 」
- イエス は， これを 聞いて 驚かれ， ついて 來た 人たちにこう 言われた． 「まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． わたしは イスラエル のうちのだれにも， このような 信仰を 見たことがありません．

- And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
- But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
- And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
- And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.
- And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

- あなたがたに 言いますが， たくさんの 人が 東からも 西からも 來て， 天の 御國で， アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ といっしょに 食卓に 着きます．
- しかし， 御國の 子らは 外の 暗やみに 放り 出され， そこで 泣いて 齒ぎしりするのです． 」
- それから， イエス は 百人隊長に 言われた． 「さあ 行きなさい． あなたの 信じたとおりになるように． 」すると， ちょうどその 時， そのしもべはいやされた．
- それから， イエス は， ペテロ の 家に 來られて， ペテロ のしゅうとめが 熱病で 床に 着いているのをご 覽になった．
- イエス が 手にさわられると， 熱がひき， 彼女は 起きて イエス をもてなした．

- When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
- That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
- Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
- And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
- And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

- 夕方になると， 人¿は 惡靈につかれた 者を 大ぜい， みもとに 連れて 來た． そこで， イエス はみことばをもって 靈どもを 追い 出し， また 病氣の 人¿をみなお 直しになった．
- これは， 預言者 イザヤ を 通して 言われた 事が 成就するためであった． 「彼が 私たちのわずらいを 身に 引き 受け， 私たちの 病を 背負った． 」
- さて， イエス は 群衆が 自分の 回りにいるのをご 覽になると， 向こう 岸に 行くための 用意をお 命じになった．
- そこに， ひとりの 律法學者が 來てこう 言った． 「先生． 私はあなたのおいでになる 所なら， どこにでもついてまいります． 」
- すると， イエス は 彼に 言われた． 「狐には 穴があり， 空の 鳥には 巢があるが， 人の 子には 枕する 所もありません． 」

- And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
- But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

- また， 別のひとりの 弟子が イエス にこう 言った． 「主よ． まず 行って， 私の 父を 葬ることを 許してください． 」
- ところが， イエス は 彼に 言われた． 「わたしについて 來なさい． 死人たちに 彼らの 中の 死人たちを 葬らせなさい． 」
