- Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
- But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
- But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
- So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
- He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

- イエス は， また 別のたとえを 彼らに 示して 言われた． 「天の 御國は， こういう 人にたとえることができます． ある 人が 自分の 畑に 良い 種を 蒔いた．
- ところが， 人¿の 眠っている 間に， 彼の 敵が 來て 麥の 中に 毒麥を 蒔いて 行った．
- 麥が 芽生え， やがて 實ったとき， 毒麥も 現われた．
- それで， その 家の 主人のしもべたちが 來て 言った． 『ご 主人． 畑には 良い 麥を 蒔かれたのではありませんか． どうして 毒麥が 出たのでしょう． 』
- 主人は 言った． 『敵のやったことです． 』すると， しもべたちは 言った． 『では， 私たちが 行ってそれを 拔き 集めましょうか． 』

- But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
- Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
- Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
- Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
- Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

- だが， 主人は 言った． 『いやいや． 毒麥を 拔き 集めるうちに， 麥もいっしょに 拔き 取るかもしれない．
- だから， 收穫まで， 兩方とも 育つままにしておきなさい． 收穫の 時期になったら， 私は 刈る 人たちに， まず， 毒麥を 集め， 燒くために 束にしなさい． 麥のほうは， 集めて 私の 倉に 納めなさい， と 言いましょう． 』」
- イエス は， また 別のたとえを 彼らに 示して 言われた． 「天の 御國は， からし 種のようなものです． それを 取って， 畑に 蒔くと，
- どんな 種よりも 小さいのですが， 生長すると， どの 野菜よりも 大きくなり， 空の 鳥が 來て， その 枝に 巢を 作るほどの 木になります． 」
- イエス は， また 別のたとえを 話された． 「天の 御國は， パン 種のようなものです． 女が， パン 種を 取って， 三 サトン の 粉の 中に 入れると， 全體がふくらんで 來ます． 」

- All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
- That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
- Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
- He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
- The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

- イエス は， これらのことをみな， たとえで 群衆に 話され， たとえを 使わずには 何もお 話しにならなかった．
- それは， 預言者を 通して 言われた 事が 成就するためであった． 「わたしはたとえ 話をもって 口を 開き， 世の 初めから 隱されていることどもを 物語ろう． 」
- それから， イエス は 群衆と 別れて 家にはいられた． すると， 弟子たちがみもとに 來て， 「畑の 毒麥のたとえを 說明してください． 」と 言った．
- イエス は 答えてこう 言われた． 「良い 種を 蒔く 者は 人の 子です．
- 畑はこの 世界のことで， 良い 種とは 御國の 子どもたち， 毒麥とは 惡い 者の 子どもたちのことです．

- The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
- As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
- The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
- And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
- Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

- 毒麥を 蒔いた 敵は 惡魔であり， 收穫とはこの 世の 終わりのことです． そして， 刈り 手とは 御使いたちのことです．
- ですから， 毒麥が 集められて 火で 燒かれるように， この 世の 終わりにもそのようになります．
- 人の 子はその 御使いたちを 遣わします． 彼らは， つまずきを 與える 者や 不法を 行なう 者たちをみな， 御國から 取り 集めて，
- 火の 燃える 爐に 投げ ¿みます． 彼らはそこで 泣いて 齒ぎしりするのです．
- そのとき， 正しい 者たちは， 天の 父の 御國で 太陽のように 輝きます． 耳のある 者は 聞きなさい．
