출애굽기 5:1-6:30

 모세는 바로 앞에 서서 이스라엘 백성을 보내어 광야에서 하나님께 절기를 지키게 할 것을 요청했다. 그러나 바로는 오히려 이스라엘 백성들의 고역을 더욱 무겁게 하였다. 이에 실망한 모세가 하나님께 기도하자 하나님께서는 다시 한번 이스라엘 백성을 구하실 것을 확신시켜 주셨다.
  
  바로와의 1차 대면(5:1-5:23)    
 
  1. And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
  2. And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.
  3. And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.
  4. And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.
  5. And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.
  1. その 後， モ ― セ と アロン は パロ のところに 行き， そして 言った． 「イスラエル の 神， 主がこう 仰せられます． 『わたしの 民を 行かせ， 荒野でわたしのために 祭りをさせよ． 』」
  2. パロ は 答えた． 「主とはいったい 何者か． 私がその 聲を 聞いて イスラエル を 行かせなければならないというのは． 私は 主を 知らない． イスラエル を 行かせはしない． 」
  3. すると 彼らは 言った． 「ヘブル 人の 神が 私たちにお 會いくださったのです． どうか 今， 私たちに 荒野へ 三日の 道のりの 旅をさせ， 私たちの 神， 主にいけにえをささげさせてください． でないと， 主は 疫病か 劍で， 私たちを 打たれるからです． 」
  4. エジプト の 王は 彼らに 言った． 「モ ― セ と アロン ． おまえたちは， なぜ 民に 仕事をやめさせようとするのか． おまえたちの 苦役に 戾れ． 」
  5. パロ はまた 言った． 「見よ． 今や 彼らはこの 地の 人¿よりも 多くなっている． そしておまえたちは 彼らの 苦役を 休ませようとしているのだ． 」
  1. And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,
  2. Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.
  3. And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.
  4. Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words.
  5. And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.
  1. その 日， パロ はこの 民を 使う 監督と 人夫がしらに 命じて 言った．
  2. 「おまえたちはれんがを 作るわらを， これまでのようにこの 民に 與えてはならない． 自分でわらを 集めに 行かせよ．
  3. そしてこれまで 作っていた 量のれんがを 作らせるのだ． それを 減らしてはならない． 彼らはなまけ 者だ． だから， 『私たちの 神に， いけにえをささげに 行かせてください． 』と 言って 叫んでいるのだ．
  4. あの 者たちの 勞役を 重くし， その 仕事をさせなければならない． 僞りのことばにかかわりを 持たせてはいけない． 」
  5. そこで， この 民を 使う 監督と 人夫がしらたちは 出て 行って， 民に 告げて 言った． 「パロ はこう 言われる． 『私はおまえたちにわらを 與えない．
  1. Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished.
  2. So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.
  3. And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.
  4. And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?
  5. Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants?
  1. おまえたちは 自分でどこへでも 行ってわらを 見つけて， 取って 來い． おまえたちの 勞役は 少しも 減らさないから． 』」
  2. そこで， 民は エジプト 全土に 散って， わらの 代わりに 刈り 株を 集めた．
  3. 監督たちは 彼らをせきたてて 言った． 「わらがあったときと 同じように， おまえたちの 仕事， おまえたちのその 日その 日の 仕事を 仕上げよ． 」
  4. パロ の 監督たちがこの 民の 上に 立てた イスラエル 人の 人夫がしらたちは， 打ちたたかれ， 「なぜおまえたちは 定められたれんがの 分を， きのうもきょうも， これまでのように 仕上げないのか． 」と 言われた．
  5. そこで， イスラエル 人の 人夫がしらたちは， パロ のところに 行き， 叫んで 言った． 「なぜあなたのしもべどもを， このように 扱うのですか．
  1. There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people.
  2. But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD.
  3. Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks.
  4. And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task.
  5. And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:
  1. あなたのしもべどもには， わらが 與えられていません． それでも， 彼らは 私たちに， 『れんがを 作れ． 』と 言っています． 見てください． あなたのしもべどもは 打たれています． しかし， いけないのはあなたの 民なのです． 」
  2. パロ は 言った． 「おまえたちはなまけ 者だ． なまけ 者なのだ． だから『私たちの 主にいけにえをささげに 行かせてください． 』と 言っているのだ．
  3. さあ， すぐに 行って ¿け． わらは 與えないが， おまえたちは 割り 當てどおりれんがを 納めるのだ． 」
  4. イスラエル 人の 人夫がしらたちは， 「おまえたちのれんがのその 日その 日の 數を 減らしてはならない． 」と 聞かされたとき， これは， 惡いことになったと 思った．
  5. 彼らは パロ のところから 出て 來たとき， 彼らを 迎えに 來ている モ ― セ と アロン に 出會った．
  1. And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.
  2. And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, LORD, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?
  3. For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.
  1. 彼らはふたりに 言った． 「主があなたがたを 見て， さばかれますように． あなたがたは パロ やその 家臣たちに 私たちを 憎ませ， 私たちを 殺すために 彼らの 手に 劍を 渡したのです． 」
  2. それで モ ― セ は 主のもとに 戾り， そして 申し 上げた． 「主よ． なぜあなたはこの 民に 害をお 與えになるのですか． 何のために， 私を 遣わされたのですか．
  3. 私が パロ のところに 行って， あなたの 御名によって 語ってからこのかた， 彼はこの 民に 害を 與えています． それなのにあなたは， あなたの 民を 少しも 救い 出そうとはなさいません． 」
 
  언약의 하나님(6:1-6:30)    
 
  1. Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
  2. And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:
  3. And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
  4. And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
  5. And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
  1. それで 主は モ ― セ に 仰せられた． 「わたしが パロ にしようとしていることは， 今にあなたにわかる． すなわち 强い 手で， 彼は 彼らを 出て 行かせる． 强い 手で， 彼はその 國から 彼らを 追い 出してしまう． 」
  2. 神は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた． 「わたしは 主である．
  3. わたしは， アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ に， 全能の 神として 現われたが， 主という 名では， わたしを 彼らに 知らせなかった．
  4. またわたしは， カナン の 地， すなわち 彼らがとどまった 在住の 地を 彼らに 與えるという 契約を 彼らに 立てた．
  5. 今わたしは， エジプト が 奴隷としている イスラエル 人の 嘆きを 聞いて， わたしの 契約を 思い 起こした．
  1. Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
  2. And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
  3. And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.
  4. And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
  5. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
  1. それゆえ， イスラエル 人に 言え． わたしは 主である． わたしはあなたがたを エジプト の 苦役の 下から 連れ 出し， 勞役から 救い 出す． 伸ばした 腕と 大いなるさばきとによってあなたがたを ·う．
  2. わたしはあなたがたを 取ってわたしの 民とし， わたしはあなたがたの 神となる． あなたがたは， わたしがあなたがたの 神， 主であり， あなたがたを エジプト の 苦役の 下から 連れ 出す 者であることを 知るようになる．
  3. わたしは， アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ に 與えると 誓ったその 地に， あなたがたを 連れて 行き， それをあなたがたの 所有として 與える． わたしは 主である． 」
  4. モ ― セ はこのように イスラエル 人に 話したが， 彼らは 落膽と 激しい 勞役のため モ ― セ に 聞こうとはしなかった．
  5. 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  1. Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.
  2. And Moses spake before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?
  3. And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
  4. These be the heads of their fathers' houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben.
  5. And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.
  1. 「エジプト の 王 パロ のところへ 行って， 彼が イスラエル 人をその 國から 去らせるように 告げよ． 」
  2. しかし モ ― セ は 主の 前に 訴えて 言った． 「ご 覽ください． イスラエル 人でさえ， 私の 言うことを 聞こうとはしないのです． どうして パロ が 私の 言うことを 聞くでしょう． 私は 口べたなのです． 」
  3. そこで 主は モ ― セ と アロン に 語り， イスラエル 人を エジプト から 連れ 出すため， イスラエル 人と エジプト の 王 パロ について 彼らに 命令された．
  4. 彼らの 父祖の 家のかしらたちは 次のとおりである． イスラエル の 長子 ルベン の 子は エノク ， パル ， ヘツロン ， カルミ で， これらが ルベン 族である．
  5. シメオン の 子は エムエル ， ヤミン ， オハデ ， ヤキン ， ツォハル ， および カナン 人の 女の 子 サウル で， これらが シメオン 族である．
  1. And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an hundred thirty and seven years.
  2. The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.
  3. And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years.
  4. And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations.
  5. And Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years.
  1. レビ の 子の 家系の 名は， 次のとおりである． ゲルション ， ケハテ ， メラリ ． レビ の 一生は 百三十七年であった．
  2. ゲルション の 子の 諸氏族は リブニ と シムイ である．
  3. ケハテ の 子は アムラム ， イツハル ， ヘブロン ， ウジエル である． ケハテ の 一生は 百三十三年であった．
  4. メラリ の 子は マフリ と ムシ である． これらは レビ 人の 諸氏族の 家系である．
  5. アムラム は 父の 妹 ヨケベデ を 妻にめとり， 彼女は アロン と モ ― セ を 産んだ． アムラム の 一生は 百三十七年であった．
  1. And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
  2. And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.
  3. And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
  4. And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.
  5. And Eleazar Aaron's son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.
  1. イツハル の 子は コラ ， ネフェグ ， ジクリ である．
  2. ウジエル の 子は ミシャエル ， エルツァファン ， シテリ である．
  3. アロン は， アミナダブ の 娘で ナフション の 妹である エリシェバ を 妻にめとり， 彼女は ナダブ と アビフ ， エルアザル と イタマル を 産んだ．
  4. コラ の 子は アシル ， エルカナ ， アビアサフ で， これらは コラ 族である．
  5. アロン の 子 エルアザル は， プティエル の 娘のひとりを 妻にめとり， 彼女は ピネハス を 産んだ． これらは レビ 人の 諸氏族の 一族のかしらたちである．
  1. These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.
  2. These are they which spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.
  3. And it came to pass on the day when the LORD spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt,
  4. That the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I am the LORD: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.
  5. And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?
  1. 主が「イスラエル 人を 集團ごとに エジプト の 地から 連れ 出せ． 」と 仰せられたのは， この アロン と モ ― セ にである．
  2. エジプト の 王 パロ に 向かって， イスラエル 人を エジプト から 連れ 出すようにと 言ったのは， この モ ― セ と アロン であった．
  3. 主が エジプト の 地で モ ― セ に 告げられたときに，
  4. 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた． 「わたしは 主である． わたしがあなたに 話すことを， みな， エジプト の 王 パロ に 告げよ． 」
  5. しかし モ ― セ は 主の 前に 申し 上げた． 「ご 覽ください． 私は 口べたです． どうして パロ が 私の 言うことを 聞くでしょう． 」
