- Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
- And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
- And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
- Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
- And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

- そのとき， 十二弟子のひとりで， イスカリオテ · ユダ という 者が， 祭司長たちのところへ 行って，
- こう 言った． 「彼をあなたがたに 賣るとしたら， いったいいくらくれますか． 」すると， 彼らは 銀貨三十枚を 彼に 支拂った．
- そのときから， 彼は イエス を 引き 渡す 機會をねらっていた．
- さて， 種なし パン の 祝いの 第一日に， 弟子たちが イエス のところに 來て 言った． 「過越の 食事をなさるのに， 私たちはどこで 用意をしましょうか． 」
- イエス は 言われた． 「都にはいって， これこれの 人のところに 行って， 『先生が「わたしの 時が 近づいた． わたしの 弟子たちといっしょに， あなたのところで 過越を 守ろう． 」と 言っておられる． 』と 言いなさい． 」

- And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.
- Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.
- And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
- And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?
- And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.

- そこで， 弟子たちは イエス に 言いつけられたとおりにして， 過越の 食事の 用意をした．
- さて， 夕方になって， イエス は 十二弟子といっしょに 食卓に 着かれた．
- みなが 食事をしているとき， イエス は 言われた． 「まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． あなたがたのうちひとりが， わたしを 裏切ります． 」
- すると， 弟子たちは 非常に 悲しんで， 「主よ． まさか 私のことではないでしょう． 」とかわるがわる イエス に 言った．
- イエス は 答えて 言われた． 「わたしといっしょに 鉢に 手を 浸した 者が， わたしを 裏切るのです．

- The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
- Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
- And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
- And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
- For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

- 確かに， 人の 子は， 自分について 書いてあるとおりに， 去って 行きます． しかし， 人の 子を 裏切るような 人間はのろわれます． そういう 人は 生まれなかったほうがよかったのです． 」
- すると， イエス を 裏切ろうとしていた ユダ が 答えて 言った． 「先生． まさか 私のことではないでしょう． 」 イエス は 彼に， 「いや， そうだ． 」と 言われた．
- また， 彼らが 食事をしているとき， イエス は パン を 取り， 祝福して 後， これを 裂き， 弟子たちに 與えて 言われた． 「取って 食べなさい． これはわたしのからだです． 」
- また 杯を 取り， 感謝をささげて 後， こう 言って 彼らにお 與えになった． 「みな， この 杯から 飮みなさい．
- これは， わたしの 契約の 血です． 罪を 赦すために 多くの 人のために 流されるものです．

- But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
- And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
- Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
- But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.
- Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.

- ただ， 言っておきます． わたしの 父の 御國で， あなたがたと 新しく 飮むその 日までは， わたしはもはや， ぶどうの 實で 造った 物を 飮むことはありません． 」
- そして， 贊美の 歌を 歌ってから， みな オリ ― ブ 山へ 出かけて 行った．
- そのとき， イエス は 弟子たちに 言われた． 「あなたがたはみな， 今夜， わたしのゆえにつまずきます． 『わたしが 羊飼いを 打つ． すると， 羊の 群れは 散り 散りになる． 』と 書いてあるからです．
- しかしわたしは， よみがえってから， あなたがたより 先に， ガリラヤ へ 行きます． 」
- すると， ペテロ が イエス に 答えて 言った． 「たとい 全部の 者があなたのゆえにつまずいても， 私は 決してつまずきません． 」

- Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
- Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
- Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
- And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
- Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

- イエス は 彼に 言われた． 「まことに， あなたに 告げます． 今夜， 鷄が 鳴く 前に， あなたは 三度， わたしを 知らないと 言います． 」
- ペテロ は 言った． 「たとい， ごいっしょに 死ななければならないとしても， 私は， あなたを 知らないなどとは 決して 申しません． 」弟子たちはみなそう 言った．
- それから イエス は 弟子たちといっしょに ゲツセマネ という 所に 來て， 彼らに 言われた． 「わたしがあそこに 行って 祈っている 間， ここにすわっていなさい． 」
- それから， ペテロ と ゼベダイ の 子ふたりとをいっしょに 連れて 行かれたが， イエス は 悲しみもだえ 始められた．
- そのとき， イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「わたしは 悲しみのあまり 死ぬほどです． ここを 離れないで， わたしといっしょに 目をさましていなさい． 」

- And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
- And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
- Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
- And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.

- それから， イエス は 少し 進んで 行って， ひれ 伏して 祈って 言われた． 「わが 父よ． できますならば， この 杯をわたしから 過ぎ 去らせてください． しかし， わたしの 願うようにではなく， あなたのみこころのように， なさってください． 」
- それから， イエス は 弟子たちのところに 戾って 來て， 彼らの 眠っているのを 見つけ， ペテロ に 言われた． 「あなたがたは， そんなに， 一時間でも， わたしといっしょに 目をさましていることができなかったのか．
- 誘惑に 陷らないように， 目をさまして， 祈っていなさい． 心は 燃えていても， 肉體は 弱いのです． 」
- イエス は 二度目に 離れて 行き， 祈って 言われた． 「わが 父よ． どうしても 飮まずには 濟まされぬ 杯でしたら， どうぞみこころのとおりをなさってください． 」
- イエス が 戾って 來て， ご 覽になると， 彼らはまたも 眠っていた． 目をあけていることができなかったのである．

- And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
- Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
- Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

- イエス は， またも 彼らを 置いて 行かれ， もう 一度同じことをくり 返して 三度目の 祈りをされた．
- それから， イエス は 弟子たちのところに 來て 言われた． 「まだ 眠って 休んでいるのですか． 見なさい． 時が 來ました． 人の 子は 罪人たちの 手に 渡されるのです．
- 立ちなさい． さあ， 行くのです． 見なさい． わたしを 裏切る 者が 近づきました． 」
