- The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
- The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
- The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
- The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
- Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

- 正しい 者の 口は 知惠を 語り， その 舌は 公義を 告げる．
- 心に 神のみおしえがあり， 彼の 步みはよろけない．
- 惡者は 正しい 者を 待ち 伏せ， 彼を 殺そうとする．
- 主は， 彼をその 者の 手の 中に 捨ておかず， 彼がさばかれるとき， 彼を 罪に 定められない．
- 主を 待ち 望め． その 道を 守れ． そうすれば， 主はあなたを 高く 上げて， 地を 受け 繼がせてくださる． あなたは 惡者が 斷ち 切られるのを 見よう．

- I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.
- Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
- Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
- But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
- But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

- 私は 惡者の 橫暴を 見た． 彼は， おい 茂る 野性の 木のようにはびこっていた．
- だが， 彼は 過ぎ 去った． 見よ． 彼はもういない． 私は 彼を 搜し 求めたが 見つからなかった．
- 全き 人に 目を 留め， 直ぐな 人を 見よ． 平和の 人には 子孫ができる．

- And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

- 主は 彼らを 助け， 彼らを 解き 放たれる． 主は， 惡者どもから 彼らを 解き 放ち， 彼らを 救われる． 彼らが 主に 身を 避けるからだ．
