민수기

  본서는 이스라엘 민족의 광야 여정을 기록한 책으로, 이스라엘의 광야 생활 동안 일어났던 일들과 불순종에 대한 하나님의 심판과 자비를 기록하고 있다.

  시내 산에서 하나님과 언약을 맺은 이스라엘은 효율적인 광야 행군을 위한 군대 조직 편성의 기초 작업으로 1차 인구 조사를 실시한다. 그러나 시내 산을 떠난 즉시 그들은 불평하면서 모세에게 대항하고, 가데스에서 하나님을 반역한다. 그 결과 여호수아와 갈렙을 제외한 출애굽 제1세대는 광야에서 죽는다. 그 후 출애굽 제2세대는 마침내 약속의 땅인 가나안 동쪽 경계선인 요단 가 모압 평지에 도착하여 가나안 정복 전쟁 수행과 땅 분배를 위한 2차 인구 조사를 실시한다.

 

 

민수기 1:1-1:54

 하나님께서는 모세에게 백성들의 효과적 진군을 위해 인구 조사를 명령하셨다. 조사 결과, 20세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈 만한 남자의 수가 603,550명으로 집계되었고, 인구 조사에 제외된 레위인들은 성막 봉사자로 선택되었다.
  
  첫번째 인구 조사(1:1-1:54)    
 
  1. And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
  2. Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;
  3. From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
  4. And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.
  5. And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.
  1. 人¿が エジプト の 國を 出て 二年目の 第二月の 一日に， 主は シナイ の 荒野の 會見の 天幕で モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  2. 「イスラエル 人の 全會衆を， 氏族ごとに 父祖の 家ごとに 調べ， すべての 男子の 名をひとりひとり 數えて 人口調査をせよ．
  3. あなたと アロン は イスラエル において， 二十歲以上の 者で， すべて 軍務につくことのできる 者たちを， その 軍團ごとに 數えなければならない．
  4. また 部族ごとにひとりずつ， 父祖の 家のかしらである 者が， あなたがたとともにいなければならない．
  5. あなたがたの 助手となるはずの 者の 名は 次のとおりである． ルベン からは シェデウル の 子 エリツル ．
  1. Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
  2. Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
  3. Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
  4. Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.
  5. Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
  1. シメオン からは ツリシャダイ の 子 シェルミエル ．
  2. ユダ からは アミナダブ の 子 ナフション ．
  3. イッサカル からは ツアル の 子 ネタヌエル ．
  4. ゼブルン からは ヘロン の 子 エリアブ ．
  5. ヨセフ の 子のうちからは， エフライム から アミフデ の 子 エリシャマ ， マナセ から ペダツル の 子 ガムリエル ．
  1. Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.
  2. Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
  3. Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.
  4. Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
  5. Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.
  1. ベニヤミン からは ギデオニ の 子 アビダン ．
  2. ダン からは アミシャダイ の 子 アヒエゼル ．
  3. アシェル からは オクラン の 子 パグイエル ．
  4. ガド からは デウエル の 子 エルヤサフ ．
  5. ナフタリ からは エナン の 子 アヒラ ． 」
  1. These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.
  2. And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:
  3. And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.
  4. As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
  5. And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  1. これらの 者が 會衆から 召し 出された 者で， その 父祖の 部族の 長たちである． 彼らが イスラエル の 分團のかしらたちである．
  2. さて， モ ― セ と アロン は， これら 指名された 者を 伴い，
  3. 第二月の 一日に 全會衆を 召集した． そこで 氏族ごとに， 父祖の 家ごとに， 二十歲以上の 者の 名をひとりひとり 數えて， その 家系を 登記した．
  4. 主が モ ― セ に 命じられたように， モ ― セ は シナイ の 荒野で 彼らを 數えた．
  5. イスラエル の 長子 ルベン の 子孫は， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， ひとりひとり 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上で 軍務につくことのできるすべての 男子であった．
  1. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
  2. Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  3. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
  4. Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  5. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.
  1. ルベン 部族で 登錄された 者は， 四万六千五百人であった．
  2. シメオン の 子孫については， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， ひとりひとり 名を 數えられ 登錄された 二十歲以上で 軍務につくことのできるすべての 男子であった．
  3. シメオン 部族で 登錄された 者は， 五万九千三百人であった．
  4. ガド の 子孫については， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上ですべて 軍務につくことのできる 者であった．
  5. ガド 部族で 登錄された 者は， 四万五千六百五十人であった．
  1. Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  2. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
  3. Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  4. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
  5. Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  1. ユダ の 子孫については， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上ですべて 軍務につくことのできる 者であった．
  2. ユダ 部族で 登錄された 者は， 七万四千六百人であった．
  3. イッサカル の 子孫については， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上ですべて 軍務につくことのできる 者であった．
  4. イッサカル 部族で 登錄された 者は， 五万四千四百人であった．
  5. ゼブルン の 子孫については， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上ですべて 軍務につくことのできる 者であった．
  1. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
  2. Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  3. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.
  4. Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  5. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
  1. ゼブルン 部族で 登錄された 者は， 五万七千四百人であった．
  2. ヨセフ の 子孫については， エフライム の 子孫で， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上ですべて 軍務につくことのできる 者であった．
  3. エフライム 部族で 登錄された 者は， 四万五百人であった．
  4. マナセ の 子孫については， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上ですべて 軍務につくことのできる 者であった．
  5. マナセ 部族で 登錄された 者は， 三万二千二百人であった．
  1. Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  2. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
  3. Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  4. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
  5. Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  1. ベニヤミン の 子孫については， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上ですべて 軍務につくことのできる 者であった．
  2. ベニヤミン 部族で 登錄された 者は， 三万五千四百人であった．
  3. ダン の 子孫については， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上ですべて 軍務につくことのできる 者であった．
  4. ダン 部族で 登錄された 者は， 六万二千七百人であった．
  5. アシェル の 子孫については， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上ですべて 軍務につくことのできる 者であった．
  1. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
  2. Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  3. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
  4. These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
  5. So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;
  1. アシェル 部族で 登錄された 者は， 四万一千五百人であった．
  2. ナフタリ の 子孫は， 氏族ごと， 父祖の 家ごとの， その 家系の 者であって， 名を 數えられた 二十歲以上ですべて 軍務につくことのできる 者であった．
  3. ナフタリ 部族で 登錄された 者は， 五万三千四百人であった．
  4. 以上が モ ― セ と アロン ， また イスラエル の 族長たちが 登錄した 登錄名簿である． この 族長たち 十二人は， それぞれ， 自分の 父祖の 家のための 者であった．
  5. それで， 父祖の 家ごとに 登錄された 二十歲以上の イスラエル 人で， イスラエル で 軍務につくことのできるすべての 者，
  1. Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
  2. But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
  3. For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,
  4. Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:
  5. But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
  1. すなわち， 登錄された 者の 總數は， 六十万三千五百五十人であった．
  2. しかし レビ 人は， 彼らの 中で， 父祖の 部族ごとには， 登錄されなかった．
  3. 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  4. 「レビ 部族だけは， 他の イスラエル 人といっしょに 登錄してはならない． また， その 人口調査もしてはならない．
  5. あなたは， レビ 人に， あかしの 幕屋とそのすべての 用具， およびそのすべての 付屬品を 管理させよ． 彼らは 幕屋とそのすべての 用具を 運び， これを 管理し， 幕屋の 回りに 宿營しなければならない．
  1. And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
  2. And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.
  3. But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
  4. And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
  1. 幕屋が 進むときは レビ 人がそれを 取りはずし， 幕屋が 張られるときは レビ 人がこれを 組み 立てなければならない． これに 近づくほかの 者は 殺されなければならない．
  2. イスラエル 人は， 軍團ごとに， おのおの 自分の 宿營， 自分の 旗のもとに 天幕を 張るが，
  3. レビ 人は， あかしの 幕屋の 回りに 宿營しなければならない． 怒りが イスラエル 人の 會衆の 上に 臨むことがあってはならない． レビ 人はあかしの 幕屋の 任務を 果たさなければならない． 」
  4. イスラエル の 人¿は， このようにし， すべて 主が モ ― セ に 命じられたとおりに 行なった．
