- And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
- And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
- Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
- I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
- So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?

- イエス は， 弟子たちにも， こういう 話をされた． 「ある 金持ちにひとりの 管理人がいた． この 管理人が 主人の 財産を 亂費している， という 訴えが 出された．
- 主人は， 彼を 呼んで 言った． 『おまえについてこんなことを 聞いたが， 何ということをしてくれたのだ． もう 管理を 任せておくことはできないから， 會計の 報告を 出しなさい． 』
- 管理人は 心の 中で 言った． 『主人にこの 管理の 仕事を 取り 上げられるが， さてどうしよう． 土を 掘るには 力がないし， こじきをするのは 恥ずかしいし．
- ああ， わかった． こうしよう． こうしておけば， いつ 管理の 仕事をやめさせられても， 人がその 家に 私を 迎えてくれるだろう． 』
- そこで 彼は， 主人の 債務者たちをひとりひとり 呼んで， まず 最初の 者に， 『私の 主人に， いくら 借りがありますか． 』と 言うと，

- And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
- Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
- And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
- And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
- He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

- その 人は， 『油百 バテ ． 』と 言った． すると 彼は， 『さあ， あなたの 證文だ． すぐにすわって 五十と 書きなさい． 』と 言った．
- それから， 別の 人に， 『さて， あなたは， いくら 借りがありますか． 』と 言うと， 『小麥百 コル ． 』と 言った． 彼は， 『さあ， あなたの 證文だ． 八十と 書きなさい． 』と 言った．
- この 世の 子らは， 自分たちの 世のことについては， 光の 子らよりも 拔けめがないものなので， 主人は， 不正な 管理人がこうも 拔けめなくやったのをほめた．
- そこで， わたしはあなたがたに 言いますが， 不正の 富で， 自分のために 友をつくりなさい． そうしておけば， 富がなくなったとき， 彼らはあなたがたを， 永遠の 住まいに 迎えるのです．
- 小さい 事に 忠實な 人は， 大きい 事にも 忠實であり， 小さい 事に 不忠實な 人は， 大きい 事にも 不忠實です．

- If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
- And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
- No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
- And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
- And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

- ですから， あなたがたが 不正の 富に 忠實でなかったら， だれがあなたがたに， まことの 富を 任せるでしょう．
- また， あなたがたが 他人のものに 忠實でなかったら， だれがあなたがたに， あなたがたのものを 持たせるでしょう．
- しもべは， ふたりの 主人に 仕えることはできません． 一方を 憎んで 他方を 愛したり， または 一方を 重んじて 他方を 輕んじたりするからです． あなたがたは， 神にも 仕え， また 富にも 仕えるということはできません． 」
- さて， 金の 好きな パリサイ 人たちが， 一部始終を 聞いて， イエス をあざ 笑っていた．
- イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「あなたがたは， 人の 前で 自分を 正しいとする 者です． しかし 神は， あなたがたの 心をご 存じです． 人間の 間であがめられる 者は， 神の 前で 憎まれ， きらわれます．

- The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
- And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
- Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

- 律法と 預言者は ヨハネ までです． それ 以來， 神の 國の 福音は 宣べ 傳えられ， だれもかれも， 無理にでも， これにはいろうとしています．
- しかし 律法の 一畵が 落ちるよりも， 天地の 滅びるほうがやさしいのです．
- だれでも 妻を 離別してほかの 女と 結婚する 者は， 姦淫を 犯す 者であり， また， 夫から 離別された 女と 結婚する 者も， 姦淫を 犯す 者です．
