- And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
- And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
- For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
- And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
- For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

- さて 時間になって， イエス は 食卓に 着かれ， 使徒たちも イエス といっしょに 席に 着いた．
- イエス は 言われた． 「わたしは， 苦しみを 受ける 前に， あなたがたといっしょに， この 過越の 食事をすることをどんなに 望んでいたことか．
- あなたがたに 言いますが， 過越が 神の 國において 成就するまでは， わたしはもはや 二度と 過越の 食事をすることはありません． 」
- そして イエス は， 杯を 取り， 感謝をささげて 後， 言われた． 「これを 取って， 互いに 分けて 飮みなさい．
- あなたがたに 言いますが， 今から， 神の 國が 來る 時までは， わたしはもはや， ぶどうの 實で 造った 物を 飮むことはありません． 」

- And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
- Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
- But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
- And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
- And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

- それから， パン を 取り， 感謝をささげてから， 裂いて， 弟子たちに 與えて 言われた． 「これは， あなたがたのために 與える， わたしのからだです． わたしを 覺えてこれを 行ないなさい． 」
- 食事の 後， 杯も 同じようにして 言われた． 「この 杯は， あなたがたのために 流されるわたしの 血による 新しい 契約です．
- しかし， 見なさい． わたしを 裏切る 者の 手が， わたしとともに 食卓にあります．
- 人の 子は， 定められたとおりに 去って 行きます． しかし， 人の 子を 裏切るような 人間はのろわれます． 」
- そこで 弟子たちは， そんなことをしようとしている 者は， いったいこの 中のだれなのかと， 互いに 議論をし 始めた．

- And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
- And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
- But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
- For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
- Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

- また， 彼らの 間には， この 中でだれが 一番偉いだろうかという 論議も 起こった．
- すると， イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「異邦人の 王たちは 人¿を 支配し， また 人¿の 上に 權威を 持つ 者は 守護者と 呼ばれています．
- だが， あなたがたは， それではいけません． あなたがたの 間で 一番偉い 人は 一番年の 若い 者のようになりなさい． また， 治める 人は 仕える 人のようでありなさい．
- 食卓に 着く 人と 給仕する 者と， どちらが 偉いでしょう． むろん， 食卓に 着く 人でしょう． しかしわたしは， あなたがたのうちにあって 給仕する 者のようにしています．
- けれども， あなたがたこそ， わたしのさまざまの 試練の 時にも， わたしについて 來てくれた 人たちです．

- And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
- That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
- And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
- But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
- And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

- わたしの 父がわたしに 王權を 與えてくださったように， わたしもあなたがたに 王權を 與えます．
- それであなたがたは， わたしの 國でわたしの 食卓に 着いて 食事をし， 王座に 着いて， イスラエル の 十二の 部族をさばくのです．

- And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
