- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
- But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
- To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
- And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
- And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

- 「まことに， まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． 羊の 圍いに 門からはいらないで， ほかの 所を 乘り 越えて 來る 者は， 盜人で 强盜です．
- しかし， 門からはいる 者は， その 羊の 牧者です．
- 門番は 彼のために 開き， 羊はその 聲を 聞き 分けます． 彼は 自分の 羊をその 名で 呼んで 連れ 出します．
- 彼は， 自分の 羊をみな 引き 出すと， その 先頭に 立って 行きます． すると 羊は， 彼の 聲を 知っているので， 彼について 行きます．
- しかし， ほかの 人には 決してついて 行きません． かえって， その 人から 逃げ 出します． その 人たちの 聲を 知らないからです． 」

- This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
- Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
- All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
- I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
- The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

- イエス はこのたとえを 彼らにお 話しになったが， 彼らは， イエス の 話されたことが 何のことかよくわからなかった．
- そこで， イエス はまた 言われた． 「まことに， まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． わたしは 羊の 門です．
- わたしの 前に 來た 者はみな， 盜人で 强盜です． 羊は 彼らの 言うことを 聞かなかったのです．
- わたしは 門です． だれでも， わたしを 通ってはいるなら， 救われます． また 安らかに 出入りし， 牧草を 見つけます．
- 盜人が 來るのは， ただ 盜んだり， 殺したり， 滅ぼしたりするだけのためです． わたしが 來たのは， 羊がいのちを 得， またそれを 豊かに 持つためです．

- I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
- But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
- The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
- I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
- As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

- わたしは， 良い 牧者です． 良い 牧者は 羊のためにいのちを 捨てます．
- 牧者でなく， また， 羊の 所有者でない 雇い 人は， 狼が 來るのを 見ると， 羊を 置き 去りにして， 逃げて 行きます． それで， 狼は 羊を 奪い， また 散らすのです．
- それは， 彼が 雇い 人であって， 羊のことを 心にかけていないからです．
- わたしは 良い 牧者です． わたしはわたしのものを 知っています． また， わたしのものは， わたしを 知っています．
- それは， 父がわたしを 知っておられ， わたしが 父を 知っているのと 同樣です． また， わたしは 羊のためにわたしのいのちを 捨てます．

- And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
- Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
- No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
- There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
- And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?

- わたしにはまた， この 圍いに 屬さないほかの 羊があります． わたしはそれをも 導かなければなりません． 彼らはわたしの 聲に 聞き 從い， 一つの 群れ， ひとりの 牧者となるのです．
- わたしが 自分のいのちを 再び 得るために 自分のいのちを 捨てるからこそ， 父はわたしを 愛してくださいます．
- だれも， わたしからいのちを 取った 者はいません． わたしが 自分からいのちを 捨てるのです． わたしには， それを 捨てる 權威があり， それをもう 一度得る 權威があります． わたしはこの 命令をわたしの 父ら 受けたのです． 」
- このみことばを 聞いて， ユダヤ 人たちの 間にまた 分裂が 起こった．
- 彼らのうちの 多くの 者が 言った． 「あれは 惡靈につかれて 氣が 狂っている． どうしてあなたがたは， あの 人の 言うことに 耳を 貸すのか． 」

- Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
|
- ほかの 者は 言った． 「これは 惡靈につかれた 者のことばではない． 惡靈がどうして 盲人の 目をあけることができようか． 」
