요한복음 21:1-21:25

 예수님은 디베랴 바닷가에서 고기 잡고 있던 제자들에게 나타나셔서 이적을 행하셨다. 또한 자신을 부인했던 베드로에게 사랑을 확인하신 후 주님의 양을 먹이라는 사명을 부여하셨다.
  
  디베랴 바닷가에 나타나신 예수님(21:1-21:14)    
 
  1. After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
  2. There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
  3. Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
  4. But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
  5. Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
  1. この 後， イエス は テベリヤ の 湖畔で， もう 一度ご 自分を 弟子たちに 現わされた． その 現わされた 次第はこうであった．
  2. シモン · ペテロ ， デドモ と 呼ばれる トマス ， ガリラヤ の カナ の ナタナエル ， ゼベダイ の 子たち， ほかにふたりの 弟子がいっしょにいた．
  3. シモン · ペテロ が 彼らに 言った． 「私は 漁に 行く． 」彼らは 言った． 「私たちもいっしょに 行きましょう． 」彼らは 出かけて， 小舟に 乘り ¿んだ． しかし， その 夜は 何もとれなかった．
  4. 夜が 明けそめたとき， イエス は 岸べに 立たれた． けれども 弟子たちには， それが イエス であることがわからなかった．
  5. イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「子どもたちよ． 食べる 物がありませんね． 」彼らは 答えた． 「はい． ありません． 」
  1. And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
  2. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
  3. And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.
  4. As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
  5. Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
  1. イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「舟の 右側に 網をおろしなさい． そうすれば， とれます． 」そこで， 彼らは 網をおろした． すると， おびただしい 魚のために， 網を 引き 上げることができなかった．
  2. そこで， イエス の 愛されたあの 弟子が ペテロ に 言った． 「主です． 」すると， シモン · ペテロ は， 主であると 聞いて， 裸だったので， 上着をまとって， 湖に 飛び ¿んだ．
  3. しかし， ほかの 弟子たちは， 魚の 滿ちたその 網を 引いて， 小舟でやって 來た． 陸地から 遠くなく， 百 メ ― トル 足らずの 距離だったからである．
  4. こうして 彼らが 陸地に 上がったとき， そこに 炭火とその 上に 載せた 魚と， パン があるのを 見た．
  5. イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「あなたがたの 今とった 魚を 幾匹か 持って 來なさい． 」
  1. Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
  2. Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
  3. Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
  4. This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
  1. シモン · ペテロ は 舟に 上がって， 網を 陸地に 引き 上げた． それは 百五十三匹の 大きな 魚でいっぱいであった． それほど 多かったけれども， 網は 破れなかった．
  2. イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「さあ 來て， 朝の 食事をしなさい． 」弟子たちは 主であることを 知っていたので， だれも「あなたはどなたですか． 」とあえて 尋ねる 者はいなかった．
  3. イエス は 來て， パン を 取り， 彼らにお 與えになった． また， 魚も 同じようにされた．
  4. イエス が， 死人の 中からよみがえってから， 弟子たちにご 自分を 現わされたのは， すでにこれで 三度目である．
 
  베드로에게 주신 사명(21:15-21:25)    
 
  1. So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
  2. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
  3. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
  4. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
  5. This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
  1. 彼らが 食事を 濟ませたとき， イエス は シモン · ペテロ に 言われた． 「ヨハネ の 子 シモン ． あなたは， この 人たち 以上に， わたしを 愛しますか． 」 ペテロ は イエス に 言った． 「はい． 主よ． 私があなたを 愛することは， あなたがご 存じです． 」 イエス は 彼に 言われた． 「わたしの 小羊を 飼いなさい． 」
  2. イエス は 再び 彼に 言われた． 「ヨハネ の 子 シモン ． あなたはわたしを 愛しますか． 」 ペテロ は イエス に 言った． 「はい． 主よ． 私があなたを 愛することは， あなたがご 存じです． 」 イエス は 彼に 言われた． 「わたしの 羊を 牧しなさい． 」
  3. イエス は 三度 ペテロ に 言われた． 「ヨハネ の 子 シモン ． あなたはわたしを 愛しますか． 」 ペテロ は， イエス が 三度「あなたはわたしを 愛しますか． 」と 言われたので， 心を 痛めて イエス に 言った． 「主よ． あなたはいっさいのことをご 存じです． あなたは， 私があなたを 愛することを 知っておいでになります． 」 イエス は 彼に 言われた． 「わたしの 羊を 飼いなさい．
  4. まことに， まことに， あなたに 告げます． あなたは 若かった 時には， 自分で 帶を 締めて， 自分の 步きたい 所を 步きました． しかし 年をとると， あなたは 自分の 手を 伸ばし， ほかの 人があなたに 帶をさせて， あなたの 行きたくない 所に 連れて 行きます． 」
  5. これは， ペテロ がどのような 死に 方をして， 神の 榮光を 現わすかを 示して， 言われたことであった． こうお 話しになってから， ペテロ に 言われた． 「わたしに 從いなさい． 」
  1. Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
  2. Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
  3. Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
  4. Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
  5. This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
  1. ペテロ は 振り 向いて， イエス が 愛された 弟子があとについて 來るのを 見た． この 弟子はあの 晩餐のとき， イエス の 右側にいて， 「主よ． あなたを 裏切る 者はだれですか． 」と 言った 者である．
  2. ペテロ は 彼を 見て， イエス に 言った． 「主よ． この 人はどうですか． 」
  3. イエス は ペテロ に 言われた． 「わたしの 來るまで 彼が 生きながらえるのをわたしが 望むとしても， それがあなたに 何のかかわりがありますか． あなたは， わたしに 從いなさい． 」
  4. そこで， その 弟子は 死なないという 話が 兄弟たちの 間に 行き 渡った． しかし， イエス は ペテロ に， その 弟子が 死なないと 言われたのでなく， 「わたしの 來るまで 彼が 生きながらえるのをわたしが 望むとしても， それがあなたに 何のかかわりがありますか． 」と 言われたのである．
  5. これらのことについてあかしした 者， またこれらのことを 書いた 者は， その 弟子である． そして， 私たちは， 彼のあかしが 眞實であることを， 知っている．
  1. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
  1. イエス が 行なわれたことは， ほかにもたくさんあるが， もしそれらをいちいち 書きしるすなら， 世界も， 書かれた 書物を 入れることができまい， と 私は 思う．
