- Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
- And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
- Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
- And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
- And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

- ペテロ と ヨハネ は 午後三時の 祈りの 時間に 宮に 上って 行った．
- すると， 生まれつき 足のきかない 男が 運ばれて 來た． この 男は， 宮にはいる 人たちから 施しを 求めるために， 每日「美しの 門 」という 名の 宮の 門に 置いてもらっていた．
- 彼は， ペテロ と ヨハネ が 宮にはいろうとするのを 見て， 施しを 求めた．
- ペテロ は， ヨハネ とともに， その 男を 見つめて， 「私たちを 見なさい． 」と 言った．
- 男は 何かもらえると 思って， ふたりに 目を 注いだ．

- Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
- And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
- And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
- And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
- And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

- すると， ペテロ は， 「金銀は 私にはない． しかし， 私にあるものを 上げよう． ナザレ の イエス · キリスト の 名によって， 步きなさい． 」と 言って，
- 彼の 右手を 取って 立たせた． するとたちまち， 彼の 足とくるぶしが 强くなり，
- おどり 上がってまっすぐに 立ち， 步きだした． そして 步いたり， はねたりしながら， 神を 贊美しつつ， ふたりといっしょに 宮にはいって 行った．
- 人¿はみな， 彼が 步きながら， 神を 贊美しているのを 見た．
- そして， これが， 施しを 求めるために 宮の「美しの 門 」にすわっていた 男だとわかると， この 人の 身に 起こったことに 驚き， あきれた．

- And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
- And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
- The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
- But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
- And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

- この 人が， ペテロ と ヨハネ につきまとっている 間に， 非常に 驚いた 人¿がみないっせいに， ソロモン の 廊という 回廊にいる 彼らのところに， やって 來た．
- ペテロ はこれを 見て， 人¿に 向かってこう 言った． 「イスラエル 人たち． なぜこのことに 驚いているのですか． なぜ， 私たちが 自分の 力とか 信仰深さとかによって 彼を 步かせたかのように， 私たちを 見つめるのですか．
- アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ の 神， すなわち， 私たちの 先祖の 神は， そのしもべ イエス に 榮光をお 與えになりました． あなたがたは， この 方を 引き 渡し， ピラト が 釋放すると 決めたのに， その 面前でこの 方を 拒みました．
- そのうえ， このきよい， 正しい 方を 拒んで， 人殺しの 男を 赦免するように 要求し，
- いのちの 君を 殺しました． しかし， 神はこの イエス を 死者の 中からよみがえらせました． 私たちはそのことの 證人です．

- And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
- And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
- But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
- Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
- And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

- そして， この イエス の 御名が， その 御名を 信じる 信仰のゆえに， あなたがたがいま 見ており 知っているこの 人を 强くしたのです． イエス によって 與えられる 信仰が， この 人を 皆さんの 目の 前で 完全なからだにしたのです．
- ですから， 兄弟たち． 私は 知っています． あなたがたは， 自分たちの 指導者たちと 同樣に， 無知のためにあのような 行ないをしたのです．
- しかし， 神は， すべての 預言者たちの 口を 通して， キリスト の 受難をあらかじめ 語っておられたことを， このように 實現されました．
- そういうわけですから， あなたがたの 罪をぬぐい 去っていただくために， 悔い 改めて， 神に 立ち 返りなさい．
- それは， 主の 御前から 回復の 時が 來て， あなたがたのために メシヤ と 定められた イエス を， 主が 遣わしてくださるためなのです．

- Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
- For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
- And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
- Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
- Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

- この イエス は， 神が 昔から， 聖なる 預言者たちの 口を 通してたびたび 語られた， あの 万物の 改まる 時まで， 天にとどまっていなければなりません．
- モ ― セ はこう 言いました． 『神である 主は， あなたがたのために， 私のようなひとりの 預言者を， あなたがたの 兄弟たちの 中からお 立てになる． この 方があなたがたに 語ることはみな 聞きなさい．
- その 預言者に 聞き 從わない 者はだれでも， 民の 中から 滅ぼし 絶やされる． 』
- また， サムエル をはじめとして， 彼に 續いて 語ったすべての 預言者たちも， 今の 時について 宣べました．
- あなたがたは 預言者たちの 子孫です． また， 神が アブラハム に， 『あなたの 子孫によって， 地の 諸民族はみな 祝福を 受ける． 』と 言って， あなたがたの 先祖と 結ばれたあの 契約の 子孫です．

- Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

- 神は， まずそのしもべを 立てて， あなたがたにお 遣わしになりました． それは， この 方があなたがたを 祝福して， ひとりひとりをその 邪惡な 生活から 立ち 返らせてくださるためなのです． 」
