열왕기하 24:1-25:30

 유다가 바벨론에 대해 반기를 들자 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살은 1,2차에 걸쳐 예루살렘을 침공하여 여호야김과 여호야긴을 포로로 끌고 가고, 시드기야를 왕으로 세웠다. 그러나 시드기야 역시 반바벨론 정책으로 실책과 악정의 전철을 밟았으며, 결국 바벨론의 3차 침공으로 예루살렘은 멸망당하고 말았다. 포로로 끌려간 여호야긴은 37년 만에 석방되어 일평생 왕 앞에서 먹고 살 수 있게 되었다.
  
  유다의 마지막 왕들(24:1-24:20)    
 
  1. In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
  2. And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
  3. Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
  4. And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.
  5. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
  1. エホヤキム の 時代に， バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル が 攻め 上って 來た． エホヤキム は 三年間彼のしもべとなったが， その 後， 再び 彼に 反逆した．
  2. そこで 主は， カルデヤ 人の 略奪隊， アラム の 略奪隊， モアブ の 略奪隊， アモン 人の 略奪隊を 遣わして エホヤキム を 攻められた． ユダ を 攻めて， これを 滅ぼすために 彼らを 遣わされた． 主がそのしもべである 預言者たちによって 告げられたことばのとおりであった．
  3. ユダ を 主の 前から 除くということは， 實に 主の 命令によることであって， それは， マナセ が 犯したすべての 罪のためであり，
  4. また， マナセ が 流した 罪のない 者の 血のためであった． マナセ は エルサレム を 罪のない 者の 血で 滿たした． そのため 主はその 罪を 赦そうとはされなかった．
  5. エホヤキム のその 他の 業績， 彼の 行なったすべての 事， それは ユダ の 王たちの 年代記の 書にしるされているではないか．
  1. So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
  2. And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
  3. Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
  4. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done.
  5. At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
  1. エホヤキム は 彼の 先祖たちとともに 眠り， その 子 エホヤキン が 代わって 王となった．
  2. エジプト の 王は 自分の 國から 再び 出て 來ることがなかった． バビロン の 王が， エジプト 川から ユ ― フラテス 川に 至るまで， エジプト の 王に 屬していた 全領土を 占領していたからである．
  3. エホヤキン は 十八歲で 王となり， エルサレム で 三か 月間， 王であった． 彼の 母の 名は ネフシュタ といい， エルサレム の 出の エルナタン の 娘であった．
  4. 彼は， すべて 先祖たちがしたとおり， 主の 目の 前に 惡を 行なった．
  5. そのころ， バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル の 家來たちが エルサレム に 攻め 上り， 町は 包圍された．
  1. And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it.
  2. And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
  3. And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.
  4. And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
  5. And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
  1. バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル が 町にやって 來たときに， 家來たちは 町を 包圍していた．
  2. ユダ の 王 エホヤキン は， その 母や， 家來たちや， 高官たち， 宦官たちといっしょに バビロン の 王に 降伏したので， バビロン の 王は 彼を 捕虜にした． これは ネブカデネザル の 治世の 第八年であった．
  3. 彼は 主の 宮の 財寶と 王宮の 財寶をことごとく 運び 出し， イスラエル の 王 ソロモン が 造った 主の 本堂の 中のすべての 金の 用具を 斷ち 切った． 主の 告げられたとおりであった．
  4. 彼は エルサレム のすべて， つまり， すべての 高官， すべての 有力者一万人， それに 職人や， 鍛冶屋もみな， 捕囚として 捕え 移した． 貧しい 民衆のほかは 殘されなかった．
  5. 彼はさらに， エホヤキン を バビロン へ 引いて 行き， 王の 母， 王の 妻たち， その 宦官たち， この 國のおもだった 人¿を， 捕囚として エルサレム から バビロン へ 連れて 行った．
  1. And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
  2. And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father's brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
  3. Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
  4. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
  5. For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
  1. バビロン の 王は， すべての 兵士七千人， 職人と 鍛冶屋千人， 勇敢な 戰士を， すべて， 捕囚として バビロン へ 連れて 行った．
  2. バビロン の 王は， エホヤキン のおじ マタヌヤ を エホヤキン の 代わりに 王とし， その 名を ゼデキヤ と 改めさせた．
  3. ゼデキヤ は 二十一歲で 王となり， エルサレム で 十一年間， 王であった． 彼の 母の 名は ハムタル といい， リブナ の 出の エレミヤ の 娘であった．
  4. 彼は， すべて エホヤキム がしたように， 主の 目の 前に 惡を 行なった．
  5. エルサレム と ユダ にこのようなことが 起こったのは， 主の 怒りによるもので， ついに 主は 彼らを 御前から 投げ 捨てられたのである． その 後， ゼデキヤ は バビロン の 王に 反逆した．
 
  예루살렘 함락(25:1-25:30)    
 
  1. And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against it round about.
  2. And the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
  3. And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.
  4. And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees were against the city round about:) and the king went the way toward the plain.
  5. And the army of the Chaldees pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho: and all his army were scattered from him.
  1. ゼデキヤ の 治世の 第九年， 第十の 月の 十日に， バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル は， その 全軍勢を 率いて エルサレム を 攻めに 來て， これに 對して 陣を 敷き， 周圍に 壘を 築いた．
  2. こうして 町は ゼデキヤ 王の 第十一年まで 包圍されていたが，
  3. 第四の 月の 九日， 町の 中では， ききんがひどくなり， 民衆に 食物がなくなった．
  4. そのとき， 町が 破られ， 戰士たちはみな 夜のうちに， 王の 園のほとりにある 二重の 城壁の 間の 門の 道から 町を 出た． カルデヤ 人が 町を 包圍していたので， 王は アラバ への 道を 行った．
  5. カルデヤ の 軍勢が 王のあとを 追い， エリコ の 草原で 彼に 追いついたとき， 王の 軍隊はみな 王から 離れて 散ってしまった．
  1. So they took the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him.
  2. And they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him with fetters of brass, and carried him to Babylon.
  3. And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:
  4. And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all the houses of Jerusalem, and every great man's house burnt he with fire.
  5. And all the army of the Chaldees, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down the walls of Jerusalem round about.
  1. そこで カルデヤ 人は 王を 捕え， リブラ にいる バビロン の 王のところへ 彼を 連れ 上り， 彼に 宣告を 下した．
  2. 彼らは ゼデキヤ の 子らを 彼の 目の 前で 虐殺した． 王は ゼデキヤ の 兩目をえぐり 出し， 彼を 靑銅の 足かせにつないで， バビロン へ 連れて 行った．
  3. 第五の 月の 七日 ··それは， バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル 王の 第十九年であった． ·· バビロン の 王の 家來， 侍從長 ネブザルアダン が エルサレム に 來て，
  4. 主の 宮と 王宮と エルサレム のすべての 家を 燒き， そのおもだった 建物をことごとく 火で 燒いた．
  5. 侍從長といっしょにいた カルデヤ の 全軍勢は， エルサレム の 回りの 城壁を 取りこわした．
  1. Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away.
  2. But the captain of the guard left of the door of the poor of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen.
  3. And the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea that was in the house of the LORD, did the Chaldees break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.
  4. And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.
  5. And the firepans, and the bowls, and such things as were of gold, in gold, and of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took away.
  1. 侍從長 ネブザルアダン は， 町に 殘されていた 殘りの 民と， バビロン の 王に 降伏した 者たちと， 殘りの 群衆を 捕え 移した．
  2. しかし， 侍從長は 國の 貧民の 一部を 殘し， ぶどう 作りと 農夫とにした．
  3. カルデヤ 人は， 主の 宮の 靑銅の 柱と， 主の 宮にある 靑銅の 車輪つきの 台と， 海とを ¿いて， その 靑銅を バビロン へ 運んだ．
  4. また， 灰つぼ， 十能， 心切りばさみ， 平皿， 奉仕に 用いるすべての 靑銅の 器具を 奪った．
  5. また， 侍從長は 火皿， 鉢など， 純金， 純銀のものを 奪った．
  1. The two pillars, one sea, and the bases which Solomon had made for the house of the LORD; the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
  2. The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and the chapiter upon it was brass: and the height of the chapiter three cubits; and the wreathen work, and pomegranates upon the chapiter round about, all of brass: and like unto these had the second pillar with wreathen work.
  3. And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:
  4. And out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war, and five men of them that were in the king's presence, which were found in the city, and the principal scribe of the host, which mustered the people of the land, and threescore men of the people of the land that were found in the city:
  5. And Nebuzaradan captain of the guard took these, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah:
  1. ソロモン が 主の 宮のために 作った 二本の 柱， 一つの 海， 車輪つきの 台， これらすべての 器具の 靑銅の 重さは， 量りきれなかった．
  2. 一本の 柱の 高さは 十八 キュビト で， その 上の 柱頭も 靑銅で， その 柱頭の 高さは 三 キュビト であり， 柱頭の 回りに 網細工と， ざくろがあって， それもみな 靑銅で， 他の 柱も， 網細工までも 同樣であった．
  3. 侍從長はさらに， 祭司のかしら セラヤ と 次席祭司 ゼパニヤ と 三人の 入口を 守る 者を 捕え，
  4. 戰士の 指揮官であったひとりの 宦官と， 町にいた 王の 五人の 側近と， 一般の 人¿を 徵兵する 將軍の 書記と， 町にいた 一般の 人¿六十人を， 町から 捕え 去った．
  5. 侍從長 ネブザルアダン は 彼らを 捕え， リブラ にいる バビロン の 王のところへ 連れて 行った．
  1. And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away out of their land.
  2. And as for the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.
  3. And when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.
  4. And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.
  5. But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldees that were with him at Mizpah.
  1. バビロン の 王は 彼らを 打ち， ハマテ の 地の リブラ で 殺した． こうして， ユダ はその 國から 捕え 移された．
  2. バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル は， シャファン の 子 アヒカム の 子 ゲダルヤ を， ユダ の 地に 殘った 殘りの 民の 上に 總督とした．
  3. 將校たちと， その 部下たちはみな， バビロン の 王が ゲダルヤ を 總督としたことを 聞いて， ミツパ にいる ゲダルヤ のもとに 來た． すなわち， ネタヌヤ の 子 イシュマエル ， カレアハ の 子 ヨハナン ， ネトファ 人 タヌフメテ の 子 セラヤ ， マアカ 人の 子 ヤアザヌヤ ， これらとその 部下たちであった．
  4. そこで ゲダルヤ は 彼らとその 部下たちに 誓って， 彼らに 言った． 「カルデヤ 人の 家來たちを 恐れてはならない． この 國に 住んで， バビロン の 王に 仕えなさい． そうすれば， あなたがたはしあわせになる． 」
  5. ところが 第七の 月に， 王族のひとり， エリシャマ の 子 ネタヌヤ の 子 イシュマエル は， 十人の 部下を 連れてやって 來て， ゲダルヤ を 打ち 殺し， ミツパ で 彼といっしょにいた ユダ 人たちと， カルデヤ 人たちを 打ち 殺した．
  1. And all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the armies, arose, and came to Egypt: for they were afraid of the Chaldees.
  2. And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;
  3. And he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon;
  4. And changed his prison garments: and he did eat bread continually before him all the days of his life.
  5. And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life.
  1. そこで， 身分の 下の 者から 上の 者まで， 民はみな， 將校たちとともに， エジプト へ 立って 行った． カルデヤ 人を 恐れたからである．
  2. ユダ の 王 エホヤキン が 捕え 移されて 三十七年目の 第十二の 月の 二十七日に， バビロン の 王 エビル · メロダク は， 彼が 王となったその 年のうちに， ユダ の 王 エホヤキン を 牢獄から 釋放し，
  3. 彼に 優しいことばをかけ， 彼の 位を バビロン で 彼とともにいた 王たちの 位よりも 高くした．
  4. 彼は 囚人の 服を 着替え， その 一生の 間， いつも 王の 前で 食事をした．
  5. 彼の 生活費は， その 一生の 間， 日¿の 分をいつも 王から 支給されていた．
