- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
- For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
- For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
- So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

- そういうわけですから， 兄弟たち． 私は， 神のあわれみのゆえに， あなたがたにお 願いします． あなたがたのからだを， 神に 受け 入れられる， 聖い， 生きた 供え 物としてささげなさい． それこそ， あなたがたの 靈的な 禮拜です．
- この 世と 調子を 合わせてはいけません． いや， むしろ， 神のみこころは 何か， すなわち， 何が 良いことで， 神に 受け 入れられ， 完全であるのかをわきまえ 知るために， 心の 一新によって 自分を 變えなさい．
- 私は， 自分に 與えられた 惠みによって， あなたがたひとりひとりに 言います． だれでも， 思うべき 限度を 越えて 思い 上がってはいけません． いや， むしろ， 神がおのおのに 分け 與えてくださった 信仰の 量りに 應じて， 愼み 深い 考え 方をしなさい．
- 一つのからだには 多くの 器官があって， すべての 器官が 同じ ¿きはしないのと 同じように，
- 大ぜいいる 私たちも， キリスト にあって 一つのからだであり， ひとりひとり 互いに 器官なのです．

- Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
- Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
- Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

- 私たちは， 與えられた 惠みに 從って， 異なった 賜物を 持っているので， もしそれが 預言であれば， その 信仰に 應じて 預言しなさい．
- 奉仕であれば 奉仕し， 敎える 人であれば 敎えなさい．
- 勸めをする 人であれば 勸め， 分け 與える 人は 惜しまずに 分け 與え， 指導する 人は 熱心に 指導し， 慈善を 行なう 人は 喜んでそれをしなさい．
- 愛には 僞りがあってはなりません． 惡を 憎み， 善に 親しみなさい．
- 兄弟愛をもって 心から 互いに 愛し 合い， 尊敬をもって 互いに 人を 自分よりまさっていると 思いなさい．

- Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
- Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
- Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
- Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
- Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

- 勤勉で 怠らず， 靈に 燃え， 主に 仕えなさい．
- 望みを 抱いて 喜び， 患難に 耐え， 絶えず 祈りに 勵みなさい．
- 聖徒の 入用に 協力し， 旅人をもてなしなさい．
- あなたがたを 迫害する 者を 祝福しなさい． 祝福すべきであって， のろってはいけません．
- 喜ぶ 者といっしょに 喜び， 泣く 者といっしょに 泣きなさい．

- Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
- Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
- If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
- Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
- Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

- 互いに 一つ 心になり， 高ぶった 思いを 持たず， かえって 身分の 低い 者に 順應しなさい． 自分こそ 知者だなどと 思ってはいけません．
- だれに 對してでも， 惡に 惡を 報いることをせず， すべての 人が 良いと 思うことを 圖りなさい．
- あなたがたは， 自分に 關する 限り， すべての 人と 平和を 保ちなさい．
- 愛する 人たち． 自分で 復讐してはいけません． 神の 怒りに 任せなさい． それは， こう 書いてあるからです． 「復讐はわたしのすることである． わたしが 報いをする， と 主は 言われる． 」
- もしあなたの 敵が 飢えたなら， 彼に 食べさせなさい． 渴いたなら， 飮ませなさい． そうすることによって， あなたは 彼の 頭に 燃える 炭火を 積むことになるのです．

- Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

- 惡に 負けてはいけません． かえって， 善をもって 惡に 打ち 勝ちなさい．
