- Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
- Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
- Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
- If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
- I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

- あなたがたの 中には， 仲間の 者と 爭いを 起こしたとき， それを 聖徒たちに 訴えないで， あえて， 正しくない 人たちに 訴え 出るような 人がいるのでしょうか．
- あなたがたは， 聖徒が 世界をさばくようになることを 知らないのですか． 世界があなたがたによってさばかれるはずなのに， あなたがたは， ごく 小さな 事件さえもさばく 力がないのですか．
- 私たちは 御使いをもさばくべき 者だ， ということを， 知らないのですか． それならこの 世のことは， 言うまでもないではありませんか．
- それなのに， この 世のことで 爭いが 起こると， 敎會のうちでは 無視される 人たちを 裁判官に 選ぶのですか．
- 私はあなたがたをはずかしめるためにこう 言っているのです． いったい， あなたがたの 中には， 兄弟の 間の 爭いを 仲裁することのできるような 賢い 者が， ひとりもいないのですか．

- But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
- Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
- Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.
- Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
- Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

- それで， 兄弟は 兄弟を 告訴し， しかもそれを 不信者の 前でするのですか．
- そもそも， 互いに 訴え 合うことが， すでにあなたがたの 敗北です． なぜ， むしろ 不正をも 甘んじて 受けないのですか． なぜ， むしろだまされていないのですか．
- ところが， それどころか， あなたがたは， 不正を 行なう， だまし 取る， しかもそのようなことを 兄弟に 對してしているのです．
- あなたがたは， 正しくない 者は 神の 國を 相續できないことを， 知らないのですか． だまされてはいけません． 不品行な 者， 偶像を 禮拜する 者， 姦淫をする 者， 男娼となる 者， 男色をする 者，
- 盜む 者， ·欲な 者， 酒に 醉う 者， そしる 者， 略奪する 者はみな， 神の 國を 相續することができません．

- And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
- All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
- Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
- And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
- Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

- あなたがたの 中のある 人たちは 以前はそのような 者でした． しかし， 主 イエス · キリスト の 御名と 私たちの 神の 御靈によって， あなたがたは 洗われ， 聖なる 者とされ， 義と 認められたのです．

- What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
- But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
- Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
- What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
- For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

- 遊女と 交われば， 一つからだになることを 知らないのですか． 「ふたりの 者は 一心同體となる． 」と 言われているからです．
- しかし， 主と 交われば， 一つ 靈となるのです．
- 不品行を 避けなさい． 人が 犯す 罪はすべて， からだの 外のものです． しかし， 不品行を 行なう 者は， 自分のからだに 對して 罪を 犯すのです．
- あなたがたのからだは， あなたがたのうちに 住まれる， 神から 受けた 聖靈の 宮であり， あなたがたは， もはや 自分自身のものではないことを， 知らないのですか．
- あなたがたは， 代價を 拂って 買い 取られたのです． ですから 自分のからだをもって， 神の 榮光を 現わしなさい．
