- Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
- For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
- For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
- When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.
- For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.

- ところで， 聞いていただくことがあります． 私はあなたがたをほめません． あなたがたの 集まりが 益にならないで， かえって 害になっているからです．
- まず 第一に， あなたがたが 敎會の 集まりをするとき， あなたがたの 間には 分裂があると 聞いています． ある 程度は， それを 信じます．
- というのは， あなたがたの 中でほんとうの 信者が 明らかにされるためには， 分派が 起こるのもやむをえないからです．

- What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
- For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
- And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
- After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
- For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

- 飮食のためなら， 自分の 家があるでしょう． それとも， あなたがたは， 神の 敎會を 輕んじ， 貧しい 人たちをはずかしめたいのですか． 私はあなたがたに 何と 言ったらよいでしょう． ほめるべきでしょうか． このことに 關しては， ほめるわけにはいきません．
- 私は 主から 受けたことを， あなたがたに 傳えたのです． すなわち， 主 イエス は， 渡される 夜， パン を 取り，
- 感謝をささげて 後， それを 裂き， こう 言われました． 「これはあなたがたのための， わたしのからだです． わたしを 覺えて， これを 行ないなさい． 」
- 夕食の 後， 杯をも 同じようにして 言われました． 「この 杯は， わたしの 血による 新しい 契約です． これを 飮むたびに， わたしを 覺えて， これを 行ないなさい． 」
- ですから， あなたがたは， この パン を 食べ， この 杯を 飮むたびに， 主が 來られるまで， 主の 死を 告げ 知らせるのです．

- Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
- But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
- For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
- For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
- For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

- したがって， もし， ふさわしくないままで パン を 食べ， 主の 杯を 飮む 者があれば， 主のからだと 血に 對して 罪を 犯すことになります．
- ですから， ひとりひとりが 自分を 吟味して， そのうえで パン を 食べ， 杯を 飮みなさい．
- みからだをわきまえないで， 飮み 食いするならば， その 飮み 食いが 自分をさばくことになります．
- そのために， あなたがたの 中に， 弱い 者や 病人が 多くなり， 死んだ 者が 大ぜいいます．
- しかし， もし 私たちが 自分をさばくなら， さばかれることはありません．

- But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
- Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
- And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

- しかし， 私たちがさばかれるのは， 主によって 懲らしめられるのであって， それは， 私たちが， この 世とともに 罪に 定められることのないためです．
- ですから， 兄弟たち． 食事に 集まるときは， 互いに 待ち 合わせなさい．
- 空腹な 人は 家で 食べなさい． それは， あなたがたが 集まることによって， さばきを 受けることにならないためです． その 他のことについては， 私が 行ったときに 決めましょう．
