- Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
- Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
- Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
- Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
- And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

- さて， 兄弟たち． 御靈の 賜物についてですが， 私はあなたがたに， ぜひ 次のことを 知っていていただきたいのです．
- ご 承知のように， あなたがたが 異敎徒であったときには， どう 導かれたとしても， 引かれて 行った 所は， ものを 言わない 偶像の 所でした．
- ですから， 私は， あなたがたに 次のことを 敎えておきます． 神の 御靈によって 語る 者はだれも， 「イエス はのろわれよ． 」と 言わず， また， 聖靈によるのでなければ， だれも， 「イエス は 主です． 」と 言うことはできません．
- さて， 御靈の 賜物にはいろいろの 種類がありますが， 御靈は 同じ 御靈です．
- 奉仕にはいろいろの 種類がありますが， 主は 同じ 主です．

- And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
- But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
- For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
- To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
- To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

- ¿きにはいろいろの 種類がありますが， 神はすべての 人の 中ですべての ¿きをなさる 同じ 神です．
- しかし， みなの 益となるために， おのおのに 御靈の 現われが 與えられているのです．
- ある 人には 御靈によって 知惠のことばが 與えられ， ほかの 人には 同じ 御靈にかなう 知識のことばが 與えられ，
- またある 人には 同じ 御靈による 信仰が 與えられ， ある 人には 同一の 御靈によって， いやしの 賜物が 與えられ，
- ある 人には 奇蹟を 行なう 力， ある 人には 預言， ある 人には 靈を 見分ける 力， ある 人には 異言， ある 人には 異言を 解き 明かす 力が 與えられています．

- But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
- For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
- For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
- For the body is not one member, but many.
- If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

- しかし， 同一の 御靈がこれらすべてのことをなさるのであって， みこころのままに， おのおのにそれぞれの 賜物を 分け 與えてくださるのです．
- ですから， ちょうど， からだが 一つでも， それに 多くの 部分があり， からだの 部分はたとい 多くあっても， その 全部が 一つのからだであるように， キリスト もそれと 同樣です．
- なぜなら， 私たちはみな， ユダヤ 人も ギリシヤ 人も， 奴隷も 自由人も， 一つのからだとなるように， 一つの 御靈によって バプテスマ を 受け， そしてすべての 者が 一つの 御靈を 飮む 者とされたからです．
- 確かに， からだはただ 一つの 器官ではなく， 多くの 器官から 成っています．
- たとい， 足が， 「私は 手ではないから， からだに 屬さない． 」と 言ったところで， そんなことでからだに 屬さなくなるわけではありません．

- And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
- If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
- But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
- And if they were all one member, where were the body?
- But now are they many members, yet but one body.

- たとい， 耳が， 「私は 目ではないから， からだに 屬さない． 」と 言ったところで， そんなことでからだに 屬さなくなるわけではありません．
- もし， からだ 全體が 目であったら， どこで 聞くのでしょう． もし， からだ 全體が 聞くところであったら， どこでかぐのでしょう．
- しかしこのとおり， 神はみこころに 從って， からだの 中にそれぞれの 器官を 備えてくださったのです．
- もし， 全部がただ 一つの 器官であったら， からだはいったいどこにあるのでしょう．
- しかしこういうわけで， 器官は 多くありますが， からだは 一つなのです．

- And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
- Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
- And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
- For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
- That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

- そこで， 目が 手に 向かって， 「私はあなたを 必要としない． 」と 言うことはできないし， 頭が 足に 向かって， 「私はあなたを 必要としない． 」と 言うこともできません．
- それどころか， からだの 中で 比較的に 弱いと 見られる 器官が， かえってなくてはならないものなのです．
- また， 私たちは， からだの 中で 比較的に 尊くないとみなす 器官を， ことさらに 尊びます． こうして， 私たちの 見ばえのしない 器官は， ことさらに 良いかっこうになりますが，
- かっこうの 良い 器官にはその 必要がありません． しかし 神は， 劣ったところをことさらに 尊んで， からだをこのように 調和させてくださったのです．
- それは， からだの 中に 分裂がなく， 各部分が 互いにいたわり 合うためです．

- And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
- Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

- もし 一つの 部分が 苦しめば， すべての 部分がともに 苦しみ， もし 一つの 部分が 尊ばれれば， すべての 部分がともに 喜ぶのです．
- あなたがたは キリスト のからだであって， ひとりひとりは 各器官なのです．
