욥기 32:1-33:33

 욥의 세 친구들은 그가 끝까지 결백을 주장하자 변론을 중단하였다. 그러자 이때 엘리후가 의롭다는 욥과 그를 정죄한 세 친구들을 공박하면서 세 친구들이 욥과의 변론에서 올바른 대답을 해주지 못했다고 지적하였다. 그리고 하나님은 사람보다 크시다고 하면서, 스스로 불의가 없다고 고백한 욥의 말은 의롭지 못하다고 하였다.
  
  엘리후의 발언(32:1-33:33)    
 
  1. So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
  2. Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
  3. Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
  4. Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.
  5. When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.
  1. この 三人の 者は ヨブ に 答えるのをやめた． それは ヨブ が 自分は 正しいと 思っていたからである．
  2. すると， ラム 族の ブズ 人， バラクエル の 子 エリフ が 怒りを 燃やした． 彼が ヨブ に 向かって 怒りを 燃やしたのは， ヨブ が 神よりもむしろ 自分自身を 義としたからである．
  3. 彼はまた， その 三人の 友に 向かっても 怒りを 燃やした． 彼らが ヨブ を 罪ある 者としながら， 言い 返すことができなかったからである．
  4. エリフ は ヨブ に 語りかけようと 待っていた． 彼らが 自分よりも 年長だったからである．

  1. And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
  2. I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
  3. But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
  4. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
  5. Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.
  1. ブズ 人， バラクエル の 子 エリフ は 答えて 言った． 私は 若く， あなたがたは 年寄りだ． だから， わきに 控えて， 遠慮し， あなたがたに 私の 意見を 述べなかった．
  2. 私は 思った． 「日を 重ねた 者が 語り， 年の 多い 者が 知惠を 敎える． 」と．
  3. しかし， 人の 中には 確かに 靈がある． 全能者の 息が 人に 悟りを 與える．
  4. 年長者が 知惠深いわけではない． 老人が 道理をわきまえるわけでもない．
  5. だから， 私は 言う． 「私の 言うことを 聞いてくれ． 私も， また 私の 意見を 述べよう． 」
  1. Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.
  2. Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:
  3. Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
  4. Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
  5. They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.
  1. 今まで 私はあなたがたの 言うことに 期待し， あなたがたの 言い 分を 調べ 上げるまで， あなたがたの 意見に 耳を 傾けていた．
  2. 私はあなたがたに 注意を 拂っていたのに， ヨブ に 罪を 認めさせる 者はなく， あなたがたのうちで 彼のことばに 答える 者もいない．
  3. だが， おそらくあなたがたは 言おう． 「私たちは 知惠を 見いだした． 人ではなく， 神が 彼を 吹き 拂った． 」と．
  4. 彼はまだ 私に 向かってことばを ¿べたててはいない． 私はあなたがたのような 言い 方では 彼に 答えまい．
  5. 彼らはあきれて， もう 答えない． 彼らの 言うことばもなくなった．
  1. When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
  2. I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.
  3. For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.
  4. Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.
  5. I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
  1. 彼らが 語らず， そのままじっと 答えないからといって， 私は 待っていなければならないだろうか．
  2. 私は 私で 自分の 言い 分を 言い 返し， 私の 意見を 述べてみよう．
  3. 私にはことばがあふれており， 一つの 靈が 私を 壓迫している． 私の 腹を．
  4. 今， 私の 腹は 拔け 口のないぶどう 酒のようだ． 新しいぶどう 酒の 皮袋のように， 今にも 張り 裂けようとしている．
  5. 私は 語って， 氣分を 晴らしたい． くちびるを 開いて 答えたい．
  1. Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
  2. For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
  1. 私はだれをもひいきしない． どんな 人にもへつらわない．
  2. へつらうことを 知らないから． そうでなければ， 私を 造った 方は 今すぐ， 私を 奪い 去ろう．
 
 
  1. Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
  2. Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
  3. My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
  4. The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
  5. If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.
  1. そこで ヨブ よ． どうか， 私の 言い 分を 聞いてほしい． 私のすべてのことばに 耳を 傾けてほしい．
  2. さあ， 私は 口を 開き， 私の 舌はこの 口の 中で 語ろう．
  3. 私の 言うことは 眞心からだ． 私のくちびるは， きよく 知識を 語る．
  4. 神の 靈が 私を 造り， 全能者の 息が 私にいのちを 與える．
  5. あなたにできれば， 私に 返事をし， ことばを ¿べたて， 私の 前に 立ってみよ．
  1. Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
  2. Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
  3. Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
  4. I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.
  5. Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
  1. 實に， 神にとって， 私はあなたと 同樣だ． 私もまた 粘土で 形造られた．
  2. 見よ． 私のおどしも， あなたをおびえさせない． 私が 强く 壓しても， あなたには 重くない．
  3. 確かにあなたは， この 耳に 言った． 私はあなたの 話す 聲を 聞いた．
  4. 「私はきよく， そむきの 罪を 犯さなかった． 私は 純潔で， よこしまなことがない．
  5. それなのに， 神は 私を 攻める 口實を 見つけ， 私を 敵のようにみなされる．
  1. He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.
  2. Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.
  3. Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.
  4. For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
  5. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
  1. 神は 私の 足にかせをはめ， 私の 步みをことごとく 見張る． 」
  2. 聞け． 私はあなたに 答える． このことであなたは 正しくない． 神は 人よりも 偉大だからである．
  3. なぜ， あなたは 神と 言い 爭うのか． 自分のことばに 神がいちいち 答えてくださらないといって．
  4. 神はある 方法で 語られ， また， ほかの 方法で 語られるが， 人はそれに 氣づかない．
  5. 夜の 幻と， 夢の 中で， または 深い 眠りが 人¿を 襲うとき， あるいは 寢床の 上でまどろむとき，
  1. Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
  2. That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
  3. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
  4. He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
  5. So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.
  1. そのとき， 神はその 人たちの 耳を 開き， このような 恐ろしいかたちで 彼らをおびえさせ，
  2. 人にその 惡いわざを 取り 除かせ， 人間から 高ぶりを 離れさせる．
  3. 神は 人のたましいが， よみの 穴に， はいらないようにし， そのいのちが 槍で 滅びないようにされる．
  4. あるいは， 人を 床の 上で 痛みによって 責め， その 骨の 多くをしびれさせる．
  5. 彼のいのちは 食物をいとい， そのたましいはうまい 物をいとう．
  1. His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.
  2. Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
  3. If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
  4. Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
  5. His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:
  1. その 肉は 衰え 果てて 見えなくなり， 見えなかった 骨があらわになる．
  2. そのたましいはよみの 穴に 近づき， そのいのちは 殺す 者たちに 近づく．
  3. もし 彼のそばに， ひとりの 御使い， すなわち 千人にひとりの 代言者がおり， それが 人に 代わってその 正しさを 告げてくれるなら，
  4. 神は 彼をあわれんで 仰せられる． 「彼を 救って， よみの 穴に 下って 行かないようにせよ． わたしは 身代金を 得た． 」
  5. 彼の 肉は 幼子のように， まるまる 太り， 彼は 靑年のころに 返る．
  1. He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
  2. He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
  3. He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
  4. Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
  5. To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
  1. 彼が 神に 祈ると， 彼は 受け 入れられる． 彼は 喜びをもって 御顔を 見， 神はその 人に 彼の 義を 報いてくださる．
  2. 彼は 人¿を 見つめて 言う． 「私は 罪を 犯し， 正しい 事を 曲げた． しかし， 神は 私のようではなかった．
  3. 神は 私のたましいを ·ってよみの 穴に 下らせず， 私のいのちは 光を 見る． 」と．
  4. 見よ． 神はこれらすべてのことを， 二度も 三度も 人に 行なわれ，
  5. 人のたましいをよみの 穴から 引き 戾し， いのちの 光で 照らされる．
  1. Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
  2. If thou hast anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
  3. If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
  1. 耳を 貸せ． ヨブ ． 私に 聞け． 默れ． 私が 語ろう．
  2. もし， 言い 分があるならば， 私に 言い 返せ． 言ってみよ． あなたの 正しいことを 示してほしいからだ．
  3. そうでなければ 私に 聞け． 默れ． あなたに 知惠を 敎えよう．
