- Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
- And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
- Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
- Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
- To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

- I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
- Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
- But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
- As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
- For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

- 私は， キリスト の 惠みをもってあなたがたを 召してくださったその 方を， あなたがたがそんなにも 急に 見捨てて， ほかの 福音に 移って 行くのに 驚いています．
- ほかの 福音といっても， もう 一つ 別に 福音があるのではありません． あなたがたをかき 亂す 者たちがいて， キリスト の 福音を 變えてしまおうとしているだけです．
- しかし， 私たちであろうと， 天の 御使いであろうと， もし 私たちが 宣べ 傳えた 福音に 反することをあなたがたに 宣べ 傳えるなら， その 者はのろわれるべきです．
- 私たちが 前に 言ったように， 今もう 一度私は 言います． もしだれかが， あなたがたの 受けた 福音に 反することを， あなたがたに 宣べ 傳えているなら， その 者はのろわれるべきです．
- いま 私は 人に 取り 入ろうとしているのでしょうか． いや． 神に， でしょう． あるいはまた， 人の 歡心を 買おうと 努めているのでしょうか． もし 私がいまなお 人の 歡心を 買おうとするようなら， 私は キリスト のしもべとは 言えません．

- But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
- For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
- And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
- But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

- 兄弟たちよ． 私はあなたがたに 知らせましょう． 私が 宣べ 傳えた 福音は， 人間によるものではありません．
- 私はそれを 人間からは 受けなかったし， また 敎えられもしませんでした． ただ イエス · キリスト の 啓示によって 受けたのです．
- 以前 ユダヤ 敎徒であったころの 私の 行動は， あなたがたがすでに 聞いているところです． 私は 激しく 神の 敎會を 迫害し， これを 滅ぼそうとしました．
- また 私は， 自分と 同族で 同年輩の 多くの 者たちに 比べ， はるかに ユダヤ 敎に 進んでおり， 先祖からの 傳承に 人一倍熱心でした．
- けれども， 生まれたときから 私を 選び 分け， 惠みをもって 召してくださった 方が，

- To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
- Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
- Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
- But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
- Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

- 異邦人の 間に 御子を 宣べ 傳えさせるために， 御子を 私のうちに 啓示することをよしとされたとき， 私はすぐに， 人には 相談せず，
- 先輩の 使徒たちに 會うために エルサレム にも 上らず， アラビヤ に 出て 行き， また ダマスコ に 戾りました．
- それから 三年後に， 私は ケパ をたずねて エルサレム に 上り， 彼のもとに 十五日間滯在しました．
- しかし， 主の 兄弟 ヤコブ は 別として， ほかの 使徒にはだれにも 會いませんでした．

- Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
- And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
- But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
- And they glorified God in me.

- それから， 私は シリヤ および キリキヤ の 地方に 行きました．
