	이사야 44:1-45:25 하나님께서는 자신을 이스라엘의 왕이시며, 구속자인 만군의 야웨라고 하면서 야웨밖에 다른 신이 없다고 하셨다. 우상 숭배자들을 향하여 수치를 당할 것이라고 하였다. 또한 하나님께서는 고레스를 야웨의 목자로 삼으셔서 그를 통하여 예루살렘이 중건되고 성전의 기초가 세워질 것이라고 하셨다.

	이스라엘의 구속(44:1-44:28)

Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:

Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

今，聞け，わたしのしもべヤコブ，わたしの選んだイスラエルよ．

あなたを造り，あなたを母の胎內にいる時から形造って，あなたを助ける主はこう仰せられる．「恐れるな．わたしのしもべヤコブ，わたしの選んだエシュルンよ．

わたしは潤いのない地に水を注ぎ，かわいた地に豊かな流れを注ぎ，わたしの靈をあなたのすえに，わたしの祝福をあなたの子孫に注ごう．

彼らは，流れのほとりの柳の木のように，靑草の間に芽生える．

ある者は『私は主のもの．』と言い，ある者はヤコブの名を名のり，ある者は手に『主のもの』としるして，イスラエルの名を名のる．」

Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.

Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

イスラエルの王である主，これを ·う方，万軍の主はこう仰せられる．「わたしは初めであり，わたしは終わりである．わたしのほかに神はない．

わたしが永遠の民を起こしたときから，だれが，わたしのように宣言して，これを告げることができたか．これをわたしの前で ¿べたててみよ．彼らに未來の事，來たるべき事を告げさせてみよ．

恐れるな，おののくな．わたしが，もう古くからあなたに聞かせ，告げてきたではないか．あなたがたはわたしの證人．わたしのほかに神があろうか．ほかに岩はない．わたしは知らない．

偶像を造る者はみな，むなしい．彼らの慕うものは何の役にも立たない．彼らの仕えるものは，見ることもできず，知ることもできない．彼らはただ恥を見るだけだ．

だれが，いったい，何の役にも立たない神を造り，偶像を鑄たのだろうか．

Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.

The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.

The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.

He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.

Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

見よ．その信徒たちはみな，恥を見る．それを細工した者が人間にすぎないからだ．彼らはみな集まり，立つがよい．彼らはおののいて共に恥を見る．

鐵で細工する者はなたを使い，炭火の上で細工し，金槌でこれを形造り，力ある腕でそれを造る．彼も腹がすくと力がなくなり，水を飮まないと疲れてしまう．

木で細工する者は，測りなわで測り，朱で輪郭をとり，かんなで削り，コンパスで線を引き，人の形に造り，人間の美しい姿に仕上げて，神殿に安置する．

彼は杉の木を切り，あるいはうばめがしや ¿の木を選んで，林の木の中で自分のために育てる．また，月桂樹を植えると，大雨が育てる．

それは人間のたきぎになり，人はそのいくらかを取って暖まり，また，これを燃やしてパンを燒く．また，これで神を造って拜み，それを偶像に仕立てて，これにひれ伏す．

He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:

And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

その半分は火に燃やし，その半分で肉を食べ，あぶり肉をあぶって滿腹する．また，暖まって，『ああ，暖まった．熱くなった．』と言う．

その殘りで神を造り，自分の偶像とし，それにひれ伏して拜み，それに祈って『私を救ってください．あなたは私の神だから．』と言う．

彼らは知りもせず，悟りもしない．彼らの目は固くふさがって見ることもできず，彼らの心もふさがって悟ることもできない．

彼らは考えてもみず，知識も英知もないので，『私は，その半分を火に燃やし，その炭火でパンを燒き，肉をあぶって食べた．その殘りで忌みきらうべき物を造り，木の切れ端の前にひれ伏すのだろうか．』とさえ言わない．

灰にあこがれる者の心は欺かれ，惑わされて，自分を救い出すことができず，『私の右の手には僞りがないのだろうか．』とさえ言わない．

Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

ヤコブよ．これらのことを覺えよ．イスラエルよ．あなたはわたしのしもべ．わたしが，あなたを造り上げた．あなたは，わたし自身のしもべだ．イスラエルよ．あなたはわたしに忘れられることがない．

わたしは，あなたのそむきの罪を雲のように，あなたの罪をかすみのようにぬぐい去った．わたしに歸れ．わたしは，あなたを ·ったからだ．」

天よ．喜び歌え．主がこれを成し遂げられたから．地のどん底よ．喜び叫べ．山¿よ．喜びの歌聲をあげよ．林とそのすべての木も．主がヤコブを ·い，イスラエルのうちに，その榮光を現わされるからだ．

あなたを ·い，あなたを母の胎內にいる時から形造った方，主はこう仰せられる．「わたしは万物を造った主だ．わたしはひとりで天を張り延ばし，ただ，わたしだけで，地を押し廣げた．

わたしは自慢する者らのしるしを破り，占い師を狂わせ，知惠ある者を退けて，その知識を愚かにする．

That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:

That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.

わたしは，わたしのしもべのことばを成就させ，わたしの使者たちの計畵を成し遂げさせる．エルサレムに向かっては，『人が住むようになる．』と言い，ユダの町¿に向かっては，『町¿は再建され，その廢墟はわたしが復興させる．』と言う．

淵に向かっては，『干上がれ．わたしはおまえの川¿をからす．』と言う．

わたしはクロスに向かっては，『わたしの牧者，わたしの望む事をみな成し遂げる．』と言う．エルサレムに向かっては，『再建される．神殿は，その基が据えられる．』と言う．」

	구원자 고레스(45:1-45:25)

Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

主は，油そそがれた者クロスに，こう仰せられた．「わたしは彼の右手を握り，彼の前に諸國を下らせ，王たちの腰の帶を解き，彼の前にとびらを開いて，その門を閉じさせないようにする．

わたしはあなたの前に進んで，險しい地を平らにし，靑銅のとびらを打ち ¿き，鐵のかんぬきをへし折る．

わたしは秘められている財寶と，ひそかな所の隱された寶をあなたに與える．それは，わたしが主であり，あなたの名を呼ぶ者，イスラエルの神であることをあなたが知るためだ．

わたしのしもべヤコブ，わたしが選んだイスラエルのために，わたしはあなたをあなたの名で呼ぶ．あなたはわたしを知らないが，わたしはあなたに肩書を與える．

わたしが主である．ほかにはいない．わたしのほかに神はいない．あなたはわたしを知らないが，わたしはあなたに力を帶びさせる．

That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

それは，日の上る方からも，西からも，わたしのほかには，だれもいないことを，人¿が知るためだ．わたしが主である．ほかにはいない．

わたしは光を造り出し，やみを創造し，平和をつくり，わざわいを創造する．わたしは主，これらすべてを造る者．」

「天よ．上から，したたらせよ．雲よ．正義を降らせよ．地よ．開いて救いを實らせよ．正義も共に芽生えさせよ．わたしは主，わたしがこれを創造した．」

ああ．陶器が陶器を作る者に抗議するように自分を造った者に抗議する者．粘土は，形造る者に，「何を作るのか．」とか，「あなたの作った物には，手がついていない．」などと言うであろうか．

ああ．自分の父に「なぜ，子どもを生むのか．」と言い，母に「なぜ，産みの苦しみをするのか．」と言う者．

Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.

Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.

Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.

イスラエルの聖なる方，これを形造った方，主はこう仰せられる．「これから起こる事を，わたしに尋ねようとするのか．わたしの子らについて，わたしの手で造ったものについて，わたしに命じるのか．

このわたしが地を造り，その上に人間を創造した．わたしはわたしの手で天を引き延べ，その万象に命じた．

わたしは勝利のうちに彼を奮い立たせ，彼の道をみな，平らにする．彼はわたしの町を建て，わたしの捕囚の民を解放する．代價を拂ってでもなく，わいろによってでもない．」と万軍の主は仰せられる．

主はこう仰せられる．「エジプトの産物と，クシュの商品，それに背の高いセバ人も，あなたのところにやって來て，あなたのものとなる．彼らは鎖につながれて，あなたに從って來，あなたにひれ伏して，あなたに祈って言う．『神はただあなたのところにだけおられ，ほかにはなく，ほかに神¿はいない．』」

イスラエルの神，救い主よ．まことに，あなたはご自身を隱す神．

They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.

But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.

偶像を細工する者どもはみな，恥を見，みな共に，はずかしめを受け，恥の中に去る．

イスラエルは主によって救われ，永遠の救いにはいる．あなたがたは恥を見ることがなく，いつまでも，はずかしめを受けることがない．

天を創造した方，すなわち神，地を形造り，これを仕上げた方，すなわちこれを堅く立てられた方，これを形のないものに創造せず，人の住みかに，これを形造られた方，まことに，この主がこう仰せられる．「わたしが主である．ほかにはいない．

わたしは隱れた所，やみの地にある場所では語らなかった．ヤコブの子らに『むなしくわたしを尋ね求めよ．』とも言わなかった．わたしは主，正義を語り，公正を告げる者．

諸國からの逃亡者たちよ．集まって來て，共に近づけ．木の偶像をになう者，救えもしない神に祈る者らは，何も知らない．

Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

告げよ．證據を出せ．共に相談せよ．だれが，これを昔から聞かせ，以前からこれを告げたのか．わたし，主ではなかったか．わたしのほかに神はいない．正義の神，救い主，わたしをおいてほかにはいない．

地の果てのすべての者よ．わたしを仰ぎ見て救われよ．わたしが神である．ほかにはいない．

わたしは自分にかけて誓った．わたしの口から出ることばは正しく，取り消すことはできない．すべてのひざはわたしに向かってかがみ，すべての舌は誓い，

わたしについて，『ただ，主にだけ，正義と力がある．』と言う．主に向かっていきりたつ者はみな，主のもとに來て恥じ入る．

イスラエルの子孫はみな，主によって義とされ，誇る．」
