- If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
- Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
- Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
- Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
- Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

- こういうわけですから， もし キリスト にあって 勵ましがあり， 愛の 慰めがあり， 御靈の 交わりがあり， 愛情とあわれみがあるなら，
- 私の 喜びが 滿たされるように， あなたがたは 一致を 保ち， 同じ 愛の 心を 持ち， 心を 合わせ， 志を 一つにしてください．
- 何事でも 自己中心や 虛榮からすることなく， へりくだって， 互いに 人を 自分よりもすぐれた 者と 思いなさい．
- 自分のことだけではなく， 他の 人のことも 顧みなさい．
- あなたがたの 間では， そのような 心構えでいなさい． それは キリスト · イエス のうちにも 見られるものです．

- Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
- But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
- And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
- Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
- That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

- キリスト は， 神の 御姿であられる 方なのに， 神のあり 方を 捨てることができないとは 考えないで，
- ご 自分を 無にして， 仕える 者の 姿をとり， 人間と 同じようになられたのです．
- キリスト は 人としての 性質をもって 現われ， 自分を 卑しくし， 死にまで 從い， 實に 十字架の 死にまでも 從われたのです．
- それゆえ， 神は， キリスト を 高く 上げて， すべての 名にまさる 名をお 與えになりました．
- それは， イエス の 御名によって， 天にあるもの， 地にあるもの， 地の 下にあるもののすべてが， ひざをかがめ，

- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
- For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
- Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
- That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

- すべての 口が， 「イエス · キリスト は 主である． 」と 告白して， 父なる 神がほめたたえられるためです．
- そういうわけですから， 愛する 人たち， いつも 從順であったように， 私がいるときだけでなく， 私のいない 今はなおさら， 恐れおののいて 自分の 救いを 達成してください．
- 神は， みこころのままに， あなたがたのうちに ¿いて 志を 立てさせ， 事を 行なわせてくださるのです．
- すべてのことを， つぶやかず， 疑わずに 行ないなさい．
- それは， あなたがたが， 非難されるところのない 純眞な 者となり， また， 曲がった 邪惡な 世代の 中にあって 傷のない 神の 子どもとなり，

- Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
- Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.
- For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

- いのちのことばをしっかり 握って， 彼らの 間で 世の 光として 輝くためです． そうすれば， 私は， 自分の 努力したことがむだではなく， 苦勞したこともむだでなかったことを， キリスト の 日に 誇ることができます．
- たとい 私が， あなたがたの 信仰の 供え 物と 禮拜とともに， 注ぎの 供え 物となっても， 私は 喜びます． あなたがたすべてとともに 喜びます．
- あなたがたも 同じように 喜んでください． 私といっしょに 喜んでください．
