	이사야 64:1-66:24 이사야는 이스라엘이 바벨론에서 해방되도록 하나님께 간구하였다. 이에 하나님께서는 이스라엘의 죄로 인한 심판의 필연성을 선포하셨다. 그리고 신앙을 지킨 남은 자들의 구원과 이들을 중심으로 한 예루살렘의 평화와 번영을 약속하셨다. 또한 구원이 이방인에게 확대될 것과 그리스도의 재림, 죄인의 최후 심판을 예고하셨다.

	도움을 구하는 기도(64:1-64:12)

Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,

As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!

When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.

ああ，あなたが天を裂いて降りて來られると，山¿は御前で ¿れ動くでしょう．

火が柴に燃えつき，火が水を沸き立たせるように，あなたの御名はあなたの敵に知られ，國¿は御前で震えるでしょう．

私たちが予想もしなかった恐ろしい事をあなたが行なわれるとき，あなたが降りて來られると，山¿は御前で ¿れ動くでしょう．

神を待ち望む者のために，このようにしてくださる神は，あなた以外にとこしえから聞いたこともなく，耳にしたこともなく，目で見たこともありません．

あなたは迎えてくださいます．喜んで正義を行なう者，あなたの道を步み，あなたを忘れない者を．ああ，あなたは怒られました．私たちは昔から罪を犯し續けています．それでも私たちは救われるでしょうか．

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.

Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.

私たちはみな，汚れた者のようになり，私たちの義はみな，不潔な着物のようです．私たちはみな，木の葉のように枯れ，私たちの咎は風のように私たちを吹き上げます．

しかし，あなたの御名を呼ぶ者もなく，奮い立って，あなたにすがる者もいません．あなたは私たちから御顔を隱し，私たちの咎のゆえに，私たちを弱められました．

Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

私たちの先祖があなたをほめたたえた私たちの聖なる美しい宮は，火で燒かれ，私たちの寶とした物すべてが荒廢しました．

主よ．これでも，あなたはじっとこらえ，默って，私たちをこんなにも惱まされるのですか．

	심판과 구원(65:1-65:16)

I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;

A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;

Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

わたしに問わなかった者たちに，わたしは尋ねられ，わたしを搜さなかった者たちに，見つけられた．わたしは，わたしの名を呼び求めなかった國民に向かって，「わたしはここだ，わたしはここだ．」と言った．

わたしは，反逆の民，自分の思いに從って良くない道を步む者たちに，一日中，わたしの手を差し伸べた．

この民は，いつもわたしに逆らってわたしの怒りを引き起こし，園の中でいけにえをささげ，れんがの上で香をたき，

墓地にすわり，見張り小屋に宿り，豚の肉を食べ，汚れた肉の吸い物を器に入れ，

「そこに立っておれ．私に近寄るな．私はあなたより聖なるものになっている．」と言う．「これらは，わたしの怒りの煙，一日中燃え續ける火である．

Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,

Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.

Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.

And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.

見よ．これは，わたしの前に書かれている．わたしは默っていない．必ず報復する．わたしは彼らのふところに報復する． ··

山の上で香をたき，丘の上でわたしをそしったあなたがたの咎と，あなたがたの先祖の咎とをともどもに．わたしは，彼らの先のしわざを量って，彼らのふところに，報復する．」と主は仰せられる．

主はこう仰せられる．「ぶどうのふさの中に甘い汁があるのを見れば，『それをそこなうな．その中に祝福があるから．』と言うように，わたしも，わたしのしもべたちのために，その全部は滅ぼさない．

わたしは，ヤコブから子孫を，ユダからわたしの山¿を所有する者を生まれさせよう．わたしの選んだ者がこれを所有し，わたしのしもべたちがそこに住む．

わたしを求めたわたしの民にとって，シャロンは羊の群れの牧場，アコルの谷は牛の群れの伏す所となる．

But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.

Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:

Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.

And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:

しかし，あなたがた，主を捨てる者，わたしの聖なる山を忘れる者，ガドのために食卓を整える者，メニのために，混ぜ合わせた酒を盛る者たちよ．

わたしはあなた方を劍に渡す．それであなたがたはみな，虐殺されて倒れる．わたしが呼んでも答えず，わたしが語りかけても聞かず，わたしの目の前に惡を行ない，わたしの喜ばない事を選んだからだ．」

それゆえ，神である主はこう仰せられる．「見よ．わたしのしもべたちは食べる．しかし，あなたがたは飢える．見よ．わたしのしもべたちは飮む．しかし，あなたがたは渴く．見よ．わたしのしもべたちは喜ぶ．しかし，あなたがたは恥を見る．

見よ．わたしのしもべたちは心の樂しみによって喜び歌う．しかし，あなたがたは心の痛みによって叫び，たましいの傷によって泣きわめく．

あなたがたは自分の名を，わたしの選んだ者たちののろいとして殘す．それで神である主は，あなたがたを殺される．ご自分のしもべたちを，ほかの名で呼ばれるようにされる．

That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

この世にあって祝福される者は，まことの神によって祝福され，この世にあって誓う者は，まことの神によって誓う．先の苦難は忘れられ，わたしの目から隱されるからだ．

	심판과 소망(65:17-66:24)

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

見よ．まことにわたしは新しい天と新しい地を創造する．先の事は思い出されず，心に上ることもない．

だから，わたしの創造するものを，いついつまでも樂しみ喜べ．見よ．わたしはエルサレムを創造して喜びとし，その民を樂しみとする．

わたしはエルサレムを喜び，わたしの民を樂しむ．そこにはもう，泣き聲も叫び聲も聞かれない．

そこにはもう，數日しか生きない乳飮み子も，壽命の滿ちない老人もない．百歲で死ぬ者は若かったとされ，百歲にならないで死ぬ者は，のろわれた者とされる．

彼らは家を建てて住み，ぶどう畑を作って，その實を食べる．

They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

彼らが建てて他人が住むことはなく，彼らが植えて他人が食べることはない．わたしの民の壽命は，木の壽命に等しく，わたしの選んだ者は，自分の手で作った物を存分に用いることができるからだ．

彼らはむだに勞することもなく，子を産んで，突然その子が死ぬこともない．彼らは主に祝福された者のすえであり，その子孫たちは彼らとともにいるからだ．

彼らが呼ばないうちに，わたしは答え，彼らがまだ語っているうちに，わたしは聞く．

狼と子羊は共に草をはみ，獅子は牛のように，わらを食べ，蛇は，ちりをその食べ物とし，わたしの聖なる山のどこにおいても，そこなわれることなく，滅ぼされることもない．」と主は仰せられる．

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

主はこう仰せられる．「天はわたしの王座，地はわたしの足台．わたしのために，あなたがたの建てる家は，いったいどこにあるのか．わたしのいこいの場は，いったいどこにあるのか．

これらすべては，わたしの手が造ったもの，これらすべてはわたしのものだ． ··主の御告げ． ··わたしが目を留める者は，へりくだって心¿かれ，わたしのことばにおののく者だ．

牛をほふる者は，人を打ち殺す者．羊をいけにえにする者は，犬をくびり殺す者．穀物のささげ物をささげる者は，豚の血をささげる者．乳香をささげる者は，偶像をほめたたえる者．實に彼らは自分かってな道を選び，その心は忌むべき物を喜ぶ．

わたしも，彼らを虐待することを選び，彼らに恐怖をもたらす．わたしが呼んでもだれも答えず，わたしが語りかけても聞かず，わたしの目の前に惡を行ない，わたしの喜ばない事を彼らが選んだからだ．」

主のことばにおののく者たちよ．主のことばを聞け．「あなたがたを憎み，わたしの名のためにあなたがたを押しのける，あなたがたの同胞は言った．『主に榮光を現わさせよ．そうすれば，あなたがたの樂しみを見てやろう．』しかし，彼らは恥を見る．」

A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

聞け．町からの ¿ぎ，宮からの聲，敵に報復しておられる主の御聲を．

彼女は産みの苦しみをする前に産み，陣痛の起こる前に男の子を産み落とした．

だれが，このような事を聞き，だれが，これらの事を見たか．地は一日の陣痛で産み出されようか．國は一瞬にして生まれようか．ところがシオンは，陣痛を起こすと同時に子らを産んだのだ．

「わたしが産み出させるようにしながら，産ませないだろうか．」と主は仰せられる．「わたしは産ませる者なのに，胎を閉ざすだろうか．」とあなたの神は仰せられる．

エルサレムとともに喜べ．すべてこれを愛する者よ．これとともに樂しめ．すべてこれのために悲しむ者よ．これとともに喜び喜べ．

That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

あなたは，彼女の慰めの乳房から乳を飮んで飽き足り，その豊かな乳房から吸って喜んだからだ．

主はこう仰せられる．「見よ．わたしは川のように繁榮を彼女に與え，あふれる流れのように國¿の富を與える．あなたがたは乳を飮み，わきに抱かれ，ひざの上でかわいがられる．

母に慰められる者のように，わたしはあなたがたを慰め，エルサレムであなたがたは慰められる．

あなたがたはこれを見て，心喜び，あなたがたの骨は若草のように生き返る．主の御手は，そのしもべたちに知られ，その憤りは敵たちに向けられる．」

見よ．まことに，主は火の中を進んで來られる．その戰車はつむじ風のようだ．その怒りを激しく燃やし，火の炎をもって責めたてる．

For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

實に，主は火をもってさばき，その劍ですべての肉なる者をさばく．主に刺し殺される者は多い．

おのが身を聖別し，身をきよめて，園に行き，その中にある一つのものに從って，豚の肉や，忌むべき物や，ねずみを食らう者たちはみな，絶ち滅ぼされる． ··主の御告げ． ··

「わたしは，彼らのわざと，思い計りとを知っている．わたしは，すべての國¿と種族とを集めに來る．彼らは來て，わたしの榮光を見る．

わたしは彼らの中にしるしを置き，彼らのうちののがれた者たちを諸國に遣わす．すなわち，タルシシュ，プル，ルデ，メシェク，ロシュ，トバル，ヤワン，遠い島¿に．これらはわたしのうわさを聞いたこともなく，わたしの榮光を見たこともない．彼らはわたしの榮光を諸國の民に告げ知らせよう．

彼らは，すべての國¿から，あなたがたの同胞をみな，主への贈り物として，馬，車，かご， ¿馬，らくだに乘せて，わたしの聖なる山，エルサレムに連れて來る．」と主は仰せられる．「それはちょうど，イスラエル人がささげ物をきよい器に入れて主の宮に携えて來るのと同じである．

And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

わたしは彼らの中からある者を選んで祭司とし，レビ人とする．」と主は仰せられる．

「わたしの造る新しい天と新しい地が，わたしの前にいつまでも續くように， ··主の御告げ． ··あなたがたの子孫と，あなたがたの名もいつまでも續く．

每月の新月の祭りに，每週の安息日に，すべての人が，わたしの前に禮拜に來る．」と主は仰せられる．

「彼らは出て行って，わたしにそむいた者たちのしかばねを見る．そのうじは死なず，その火も消えず，それはすべての人に，忌みきらわれる．」
