	잠언 11:1-11:9 정직하고 겸손하며 남을 속이지 않는 의인은 구원을 얻게 되나, 교만하고 사특한 악인은 넘어지게 된다.

A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

欺きのはかりは主に忌みきらわれる．正しいおもりは主に喜ばれる．

高ぶりが來れば，恥もまた來る．知惠はへりくだる者とともにある．

直ぐな人の誠實は，その人を導き，裏切り者のよこしまは，その人を破滅させる．

財産は激しい怒りの日には役に立たない．しかし正義は人を死から救い出す．

潔白な人の道は，その正しさによって平らにされ，惡者は，その惡事によって倒れる．

The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.

When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.

The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

直ぐな人は，その正しさによって救い出され，裏切り者は，自分の欲によって捕えられる．

惡者が死ぬとき，その期待は消えうせ，邪惡な者たちの望みもまた消えうせる．

正しい者は苦しみから救い出され，彼に代わって惡者がそれに陷る．

神を敬わない者はその口によって隣人を滅ぼそうとするが，正しい者は知識によって彼らを救おうとする．
