예레미야 51:59-52:34

 하나님께서 바벨론의 멸망을 기록한 책을 유브라데 강에 빠뜨리도록 하심으로 바벨론의 영원한 멸망을 예고하셨다. 시드기야 왕이 바벨론을 배반하자, 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살은 군대를 이끌고 와서 예루살렘을 포위하고 시드기야 왕을 체포했으며 백성들을 포로로 잡아갔다. 뿐만 아니라 성전을 훼파하고 성전 기물들을 노략해 갔다. 여호야긴 왕은 사로잡혀 간 지 37년 만에 바벨론 왕에 의해 석방되었다.
  
  바벨론의 영원한 멸망(51:59-51:64)    
 
  1. The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet prince.
  2. So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon.
  3. And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words;
  4. Then shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.
  5. And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:
  1. マフセヤ の 子 ネリヤ の 子 セラヤ が， ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ とともに， その 治世の 第四年に， バビロン へ 行くとき， 預言者 エレミヤ が セラヤ に 命じたことば． そのとき， セラヤ は 宿營の 長であった．
  2. エレミヤ は バビロン に 下るわざわいのすべてを 一つの 卷き 物にしるした． すなわち， バビロン についてこのすべてのことばが 書いてあった．
  3. エレミヤ は セラヤ に 言った． 「あなたが バビロン にはいったときに， これらすべてのことばをよく 注意して 讀み，
  4. 『主よ． あなたはこの 所について， これを 滅ぼし， 人間から ¿に 至るまで 住むものがないようにし， 永遠に 荒れ 果てさせる， と 語られました． 』と 言い，
  5. この 書物を 讀み 終わったなら， それに 石を 結びつけて， ユ ― フラテス 川の 中に 投げ 入れ，
  1. And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
  1. 『このように， バビロン は 沈み， 浮かび 上がれない． わたしがもたらすわざわいのためだ． 彼らは 疲れ 果てる． 』と 言いなさい． 」ここまでが， エレミヤ のことばである．
 
  함락된 예루살렘(52:1-52:34)    
 
  1. Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
  2. And he did that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
  3. For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
  4. And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it, and built forts against it round about.
  5. So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
  1. ゼデキヤ は 二十一歲で 王となり， エルサレム で 十一年間， 王であった． 彼の 母の 名は ハムタル といい， リブナ の 出の エレミヤ の 娘であった．
  2. 彼は， すべて エホヤキム がしたように， 主の 目の 前に 惡を 行なった．
  3. エルサレム と ユダ にこのようなことが 起こったのは， 主の 怒りによるもので， ついに 主は 彼らを 御前から 投げ 捨てられたのである． そののち， ゼデキヤ は バビロン の 王に 反逆した．
  4. ゼデキヤ の 治世の 第九年， 第十の 月の 十日に， バビロン の 王 ネブカデレザル は， その 全軍勢を 率いて エルサレム を 攻めに 來て， これに 對して 陣を 敷き， 周圍に 壘を 築いた．
  5. こうして 町は ゼデキヤ 王の 第十一年まで 包圍されていたが，
  1. And in the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
  2. Then the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden; (now the Chaldeans were by the city round about:) and they went by the way of the plain.
  3. But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.
  4. Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him.
  5. And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
  1. 第四の 月の 九日， 町の 中では， ききんがひどくなり， 民衆に 食物がなくなった．
  2. そのとき， 町が 破られ， 戰士たちはみな 逃げて， 夜のうちに， 王の 園のほとりにある 二重の 城壁の 間の 門の 道から 町を 出た． カルデヤ 人が 町を 包圍していたので， 彼らは アラバ への 道を 行った．
  3. カルデヤ の 軍勢が 王のあとを 追い， エリコ の 草原で ゼデキヤ に 追いついたとき， 王の 軍隊はみな 王から 離れて 散ってしまった．
  4. そこで カルデヤ 人は 王を 捕え， ハマテ の 地の リブラ にいる バビロン の 王のところへ 彼を 連れ 上った． バビロン の 王は 彼に 宣告を 下した．
  5. バビロン の 王は， ゼデキヤ の 子らを 彼の 目の 前で 虐殺し， ユダ のすべての 首長たちを リブラ で 虐殺した．
  1. Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.
  2. Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, which served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem,
  3. And burned the house of the LORD, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great men, burned he with fire:
  4. And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down all the walls of Jerusalem round about.
  5. Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive certain of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
  1. また ゼデキヤ の 兩眼をえぐり 出し， 彼を 靑銅の 足かせにつないだ． バビロン の 王は， 彼を バビロン へ 連れて 行き， 彼を 死ぬ 日まで 獄屋に 入れておいた．
  2. 第五の 月の 十日 ··それは， バビロン の 王 ネブカデレザル 王の 第十九年であった． ·· バビロン の 王に 仕えていた 侍從長 ネブザルアダン が エルサレム に 來て，
  3. 主の 宮と 王宮と エルサレム のすべての 家を 燒き， そのおもだった 建物をことごとく 火で 燒いた．
  4. 侍從長といっしょにいた カルデヤ の 全軍勢は， エルサレム の 回りの 城壁を 全部取りこわした．
  5. 侍從長 ネブザルアダン は， 民の 貧民の 一部と， 町に 殘されていた 殘りの 民と， バビロン の 王に 降伏した 者たちと， 殘りの 群衆を 捕え 移した．
  1. But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left certain of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for husbandmen.
  2. Also the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea that was in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans brake, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.
  3. The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.
  4. And the basons, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver, took the captain of the guard away.
  5. The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
  1. しかし， 侍從長 ネブザルアダン は， 國の 貧民の 一部を 殘し， ぶどう 作りと 農夫とにした．
  2. カルデヤ 人は， 主の 宮の 靑銅の 柱と， 主の 宮にある 靑銅の 車輪つきの 台と， 海とを ¿いて， その 靑銅をみな バビロン へ 運んだ．
  3. また， 灰つぼ， 十能， 心切りばさみ， 鉢， 平皿， 奉仕に 用いるすべての 靑銅の 器具を 奪った．
  4. また， 侍從長は 小鉢， 火皿， 鉢， 灰つぼ， 燭台， 平皿， 水差しなど， 純金， 純銀のものを 奪った．
  5. ソロモン 王が 主の 宮のために 作った 二本の 柱， 一つの 海， 車輪つきの 台の 下にある 十二の 靑銅の 牛， これらすべての 器具の 靑銅の 重さは， 量りきれなかった．
  1. And concerning the pillars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof was four fingers: it was hollow.
  2. And a chapiter of brass was upon it; and the height of one chapiter was five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the chapiters round about, all of brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates were like unto these.
  3. And there were ninety and six pomegranates on a side; and all the pomegranates upon the network were an hundred round about.
  4. And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:
  5. He took also out of the city an eunuch, which had the charge of the men of war; and seven men of them that were near the king's person, which were found in the city; and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.
  1. その 柱は， 一本の 柱の 高さが 十八 キュビト で， その 回りを 測るには 十二 キュビト のひもがいり， その 厚さは 指四本分で， 中は 空洞になっていた．
  2. その 上に 靑銅の 柱頭があり， 一つの 柱頭の 高さは 五 キュビト であり， 柱頭の 回りに， 網細工とざくろがあって， それもみな 靑銅で， 他の 柱もざくろもこれと 同樣であった．
  3. 回りには 九十六のざくろがあり， 回りの 網細工の 上には 全部で 百のざくろがあった．
  4. 侍從長はさらに， 祭司のかしら セラヤ と 次席祭司 ゼパニヤ と 三人の 入口を 守る 者を 捕え，
  5. 戰士の 指揮官であったひとりの 宦官と， 町にいた 王の 七人の 側近と， 一般の 人¿を 徵兵する 將軍の 書記と， 町の 中にいた 一般の 人¿六十人を， 町から 捕え 去った．
  1. So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
  2. And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land.
  3. This is the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand Jews and three and twenty:
  4. In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and two persons:
  5. In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred.
  1. 侍從長 ネブザルアダン は 彼らを 捕え， リブラ にいる バビロン の 王のもとへ 連れて 行った．
  2. バビロン の 王は 彼らを 打ち， ハマテ の 地の リブラ で 殺した． こうして， ユダ はその 國から 捕え 移された．
  3. ネブカデレザル が 捕え 移した 民の 數は 次のとおり． 第七年には， 三千二十三人の ユダヤ 人．
  4. ネブカデレザル の 第十八年には， エルサレム から 八百三十二人．
  5. ネブカデレザル の 第二十三年には， 侍從長 ネブザルアダン が， 七百四十五人の ユダヤ 人を 捕え 移し， その 合計は 四千六百人であった．
  1. And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison.
  2. And spake kindly unto him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon,
  3. And changed his prison garments: and he did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life.
  4. And for his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
  1. ユダ の 王 エホヤキン が 捕え 移されて 三十七年目の 第十二の 月の 二十五日に， バビロン の 王 エビル · メロダク は， 彼が 卽位した 年のうちに， ユダ の 王 エホヤキン を 釋放し， 獄屋から 出し，
  2. 彼に 優しいことばをかけ， 彼の 位を バビロン で 彼とともにいた 王たちの 位よりも 高くした．
  3. 彼は 囚人の 服を 着替え， その 一生の 間， いつも 王の 前で 食事をした．
  4. 彼の 生活費は， 死ぬ 日までその 一生の 間， 日¿の 分をいつも バビロン の 王から 支給されていた．
