- 兄弟愛をいつも 持っていなさい．
- 旅人をもてなすことを 忘れてはいけません． こうして， ある 人¿は 御使いたちを， それとは 知らずにもてなしました．
- 牢につながれている 人¿を， 自分も 牢にいる 氣持ちで 思いやり， また， 自分も 肉體を 持っているのですから， 苦しめられている 人¿を 思いやりなさい．
- 結婚がすべての 人に 尊ばれるようにしなさい． 寢床を 汚してはいけません． なぜなら， 神は 不品行な 者と 姦淫を 行なう 者とをさばかれるからです．
- 金錢を 愛する 生活をしてはいけません． いま 持っているもので 滿足しなさい． 主ご 自身がこう 言われるのです． 「わたしは 決してあなたを 離れず， また， あなたを 捨てない． 」

- So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
- Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
- Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

- 神のみことばをあなたがたに 話した 指導者たちのことを， 思い 出しなさい． 彼らの 生活の 結末をよく 見て， その 信仰にならいなさい．
- イエス · キリスト は， きのうもきょうも， いつまでも， 同じです．
- さまざまの 異なった 敎えによって 迷わされてはなりません． 食物によってではなく， 惠みによって 心を 强めるのは 良いことです． 食物に 氣を 取られた 者は 益を 得ませんでした．
- 私たちには 一つの 祭壇があります． 幕屋で 仕える 者たちには， この 祭壇から 食べる 權利がありません．

- For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
- Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
- Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
- For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

- 動物の 血は， 罪のための 供え 物として， 大祭司によって 聖所の 中まで 持って 行かれますが， からだは 宿營の 外で 燒かれるからです．
- ですから， イエス も， ご 自分の 血によって 民を 聖なるものとするために， 門の 外で 苦しみを 受けられました．
- ですから， 私たちは， キリスト のはずかしめを 身に 負って， 宿營の 外に 出て， みもとに 行こうではありませんか．
- 私たちは， この 地上に 永遠の 都を 持っているのではなく， むしろ 後に 來ようとしている 都を 求めているのです．
- ですから， 私たちは キリスト を 通して， 贊美のいけにえ， すなわち 御名をたたえるくちびるの 果實を， 神に 絶えずささげようではありませんか．

- But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
- Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
- Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
- But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

- 善を 行なうことと， 持ち 物を 人に 分けることとを 怠ってはいけません． 神はこのようないけにえを 喜ばれるからです．
- あなたがたの 指導者たちの 言うことを 聞き， また 服從しなさい． この 人¿は 神に 弁明する 者であって， あなたがたのたましいのために 見張りをしているのです． ですから， この 人たちが 喜んでそのことをし， 嘆いてすることにならないようにしなさい． そうでないと， あなたがたの 益にならないからです．
- 私たちのために 祈ってください． 私たちは， 正しい 良心を 持っていると 確信しており， 何事についても 正しく 行動しようと 願っているからです．
- また， もっと 祈ってくださるよう 特にお 願いします． それだけ， 私があなたがたのところに 早く 歸れるようになるからです．
