에스겔 29:1-30:26

 하나님께서는 애굽이 바벨론에 의해 멸망되었다가 40년 후에 연약한 나라로 회복될 것이며, 애굽이 함락되는 날 그의 동맹국들도 함께 멸망할 것이라고 예고하셨다. 그리고 애굽의 멸망은 하나님께서 바벨론 왕의 팔을 강하게 붙드시고 바로의 팔을 꺾어 약하게 하신 결과라고 밝히셨다.
  
  애굽에 대한 심판(29:1-29:21)    
 
  1. In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
  2. Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:
  3. Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
  4. But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.
  5. And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.
  1. 第十年の 第十の 月の 十二日に， 私に 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  2. 「人の 子よ． 顔を エジプト の 王 パロ に 向け， 彼および エジプト 全體に 預言し，
  3. こう 語って 言え． 神である 主はこう 仰せられる． エジプト の 王 パロ よ． わたしはあなたに 立ち 向かう． あなたは， 自分の 川の 中に 橫たわる 大きなわにで， 『川は 私のもの． 私がこれを 造った． 』と 言っている．
  4. わたしはあなたのあごに 一をかけ， あなたの 川の 魚をあなたのうろこにつけ， あなたと， あなたのうろこについている 川のすべての 魚とを 川の 中から 引き 上げる．
  5. あなたとあなたの 川のすべての 魚とを 荒野に 投げ 捨てる． あなたは 野原に 倒れ， 集められず， 葬られることもない． わたしがあなたを 地の ¿と 空の 鳥のえじきとするとき，
  1. And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
  2. When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.
  3. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.
  4. And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it.
  5. Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
  1. エジプト の 住民はみな， わたしが 主であることを 知ろう． 彼らが， イスラエル の 家に 對して， 葦の 杖にすぎなかったからだ．
  2. 彼らがあなたの 手をつかむと， あなたは 折れ， 彼らのすべての 肩を ¿いた． 彼らがあなたに 寄りかかると， あなたは 折れ， 彼らのすべての 腰をいためた．
  3. それゆえ， 神である 主はこう 仰せられる． わたしは 劍を 送ってあなたを 攻め， 人も ¿も， あなたのうちから 斷ち 滅ぼす．
  4. エジプト の 地は 荒れ 果てて 廢墟となる． このとき， 彼らは， わたしが 主であることを 知ろう． それは 彼が， 『川は 私のもの． 私がこれを 造った． 』と 言ったからだ．
  5. それゆえ， わたしは， あなたにもあなたの 川にも 立ち 向かい， エジプト の 地を， ミグドル から セベネ ， さらに クシュ の 國境に 至るまで， 荒れ 果てさせて 廢墟にする．
  1. No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
  2. And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
  3. Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:
  4. And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.
  5. It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
  1. 人の 足もそこを 通らず， ¿の 足もそこを 通らず， 四十年の 間だれも 住まなくなる．
  2. わたしは エジプト の 地を， 荒れ 果てた 國¿の 間で 荒れ 果てさせ， その 町¿も 四十年の 間， 廢墟となった 町¿の 間で 荒れ 果てる． わたしは エジプト 人を 諸國の 民の 中に 散らし， 國¿に 追い 散らす．
  3. まことに， 神である 主はこう 仰せられる． 四十年の 終わりになって， わたしは エジプト 人を， 散らされていた 國¿の 民の 中から 集め，
  4. エジプト の 捕われ 人を 歸らせる． 彼らをその 出身地， パテロス の 地に 歸らせる． 彼らはそこで， 取るに 足りない 王國となる．
  5. どの 王國にも 劣り， 二度と 諸國の 民の 上にぬきんでることはない． 彼らが 諸國の 民を 支配しないように， わたしは 彼らを 小さくする．
  1. And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
  2. And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
  3. Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:
  4. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
  5. I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.
  1. イスラエル の 家は， これに 助けを 求めるとき， 咎を 思い 起こして， もう， これを 賴みとしなくなる． このとき， 彼らは， わたしが 神， 主であることを 知ろう． 」
  2. 第二十七年の 第一の 月の 一日に， 私に 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  3. 「人の 子よ． バビロン の 王 ネブカデレザル は ツロ 攻擊に 自分の 軍隊を 大いに ¿かせた． それで， みなの 頭ははげ， みなの 肩はすりむけた． それなのに， 彼にも 彼の 軍隊にも， ツロ 攻擊に ¿いた 報いは 何もなかった．
  4. それゆえ， 神である 主はこう 仰せられる． わたしは バビロン の 王 ネブカデレザル に エジプト の 地を 與えよう． 彼はその 富を 取り 上げ， 物を 分捕り， 獲物をかすめ 奪う． それが 彼の 軍隊への 報いとなる．

  1. In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
  1. その 日， わたしは イスラエル の 家のために， 一つの 角を 生えさせ， 彼らの 間であなたに 口を 開かせる． このとき 彼らは， わたしが 主であることを 知ろう． 」

  1. The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
  2. Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!
  3. For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
  4. And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.
  5. Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.
  1. 次のような 主のことばが 私にあった．
  2. 「人の 子よ． 預言して 言え． 神である 主はこう 仰せられる． 泣きわめけ． ああ， その 日よ．
  3. その 日は 近い． 主の 日は 近い． その 日は 曇った 日， 諸國の 民の 終わりの 時だ．
  4. 劍が エジプト に 下り， 刺し 殺される 者が エジプト で 倒れ， その 富は 奪われ， その 基がくつがえされるとき， クシュ には 苦痛が 起きる．
  5. クシュ ， プテ ， ルデ ， アラビヤ 全體， クブ ， 彼らの 同盟國の 人¿も， 彼らとともに 劍に 倒れる．
  1. Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
  2. And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.
  3. And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.
  4. In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.
  5. Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
  1. 主はこう 仰せられる． エジプト をささえる 者は 倒れ， その 力强い 誇りは 見下げられ， ミグドル から セネベ に 至るまでみな 劍に 倒れる． ··神である 主の 御告げ． ··
  2. エジプト は 荒れ 果てた 國¿の 間で 荒れ 果て， その 町¿も， 廢墟となった 町¿の 間にあって 荒れ 果てる．
  3. わたしが エジプト に 火をつけ， これを 助ける 者たちがみな 滅ぼされるとき， 彼らは， わたしが 主であることを 知ろう．
  4. その 日， わたしのもとから 使者たちが 船で 送り 出され， 安心している クシュ 人をおののかせる． エジプト の 日に， 彼らの 間に 苦痛が 起きる． 今， その 日が 來ている．
  5. 神である 主はこう 仰せられる． わたしは バビロン の 王 ネブカデレザル によって， エジプト の 富を 取り 除く．
  1. He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.
  2. And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken it.
  3. Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
  4. And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.
  5. And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
  1. 彼と， 彼の 民， すなわち， 最も 橫暴な 異邦の 民がその 地を 滅ぼすために 遣わされる． 彼らは 劍を 拔いて エジプト を 攻め， その 地を 刺し 殺された 者で 滿たす．
  2. わたしは ナイル 川を 干上がった 地とし， その 國を 惡人どもの 手に 賣り， 他國人の 手によって， その 國とそこにあるすべての 物を 荒れ 果てさせる． 主であるわたしがこれを 語る．
  3. 神である 主はこう 仰せられる． わたしは 偶像を 打ちこわし， ノフ から 僞りの 神¿を 取り 除く． エジプト の 國には， もう 君主が 立たなくなる． わたしは エジプト の 地に 恐怖を 與える．
  4. わたしは パテロス を 荒らし， ツォアン に 火をつけ， ノ にさばきを 下す．
  5. わたしは エジプト のとりで シン にわたしの 憤りを 注ぎ， ノ の 群集を 斷ち 滅ぼす．
  1. And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily.
  2. The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.
  3. At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
  4. Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
  5. And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
  1. わたしは エジプト に 火をつける． シン は 大いに 苦しみ， ノ は ¿かれ， ノフ は ¿間， 敵に 襲われる．
  2. オン と ピ · ベセテ の 若い 男たちは 劍に 倒れ， 女たちはとりことなって 行く．
  3. わたしが エジプト のくびきを ¿き， その 力强い 誇りが 絶やされるとき， タフパヌヘス では 日は 暗くなり， 雲がそこをおおい， その 娘たちはとりことなって 行く．
  4. わたしが エジプト にさばきを 下すとき， 彼らは， わたしが 主であることを 知ろう． 」
  5. 第十一年の 第一の 月の 七日， 私に 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  1. Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
  2. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
  3. And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
  4. And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
  5. But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
  1. 「人の 子よ． わたしは エジプト の 王 パロ の 腕を ¿いた． 見よ． それは 包まれず， 手當をされず， ほうたいを 當てて 包まれず， 元氣になって 劍を 取ることもできない．
  2. それゆえ， 神である 主はこう 仰せられる． わたしは エジプト の 王 パロ に 立ち 向かい， 强いが ¿かれている 彼の 腕を ¿き， その 手から 劍を 落とさせる．
  3. わたしは エジプト 人を 諸國の 民の 中に 散らし， 國¿に 追い 散らす．
  4. しかし， わたしは バビロン の 王の 腕を 强くし， わたしの 劍を 彼の 手に 渡し， パロ の 腕を ¿く． 彼は 刺された 者がうめくように バビロン の 王の 前でうめく．
  5. わたしは バビロン の 王の 腕を 强くし， パロ の 腕を 垂れさせる． このとき， わたしが バビロン の 王の 手にわたしの 劍を 渡し， 彼がそれを エジプト の 地に 差し 向けると， 彼らは， わたしが 主であることを 知ろう．
  1. And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
  1. わたしが エジプト 人を 諸國の 民の 中に 散らし， 彼らを 國¿に 追い 散らすとき， 彼らは， わたしが 主であることを 知ろう． 」
