- Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
- Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
- And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
- Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

- 愛する 者たち． 靈だからといって， みな 信じてはいけません． それらの 靈が 神からのものかどうかを， ためしなさい． なぜなら， にせ 預言者がたくさん 世に 出て 來たからです．
- 人となって 來た イエス · キリスト を 告白する 靈はみな， 神からのものです． それによって 神からの 靈を 知りなさい．
- イエス を 告白しない 靈はどれ 一つとして 神から 出たものではありません． それは 反 キリスト の 靈です． あなたがたはそれが 來ることを 聞いていたのですが， 今それが 世に 來ているのです．
- 子どもたちよ． あなたがたは 神から 出た 者です． そして 彼らに 勝ったのです． あなたがたのうちにおられる 方が， この 世のうちにいる， あの 者よりも 力があるからです．
- 彼らはこの 世の 者です． ですから， この 世のことばを 語り， この 世もまた 彼らの 言うことに 耳を 傾けます．

- We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
- Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
- In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
- Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

- 私たちは 神から 出た 者です． 神を 知っている 者は， 私たちの 言うことに 耳を 傾け， 神から 出ていない 者は， 私たちの 言うことに 耳を 貸しません． 私たちはこれで 眞理の 靈と 僞りの 靈とを 見分けます．
- 愛する 者たち． 私たちは， 互いに 愛し 合いましょう． 愛は 神から 出ているのです． 愛のある 者はみな 神から 生まれ， 神を 知っています．
- 愛のない 者に， 神はわかりません． なぜなら 神は 愛だからです．
- 神はそのひとり 子を 世に 遣わし， その 方によって 私たちに， いのちを 得させてくださいました． ここに， 神の 愛が 私たちに 示されたのです．
- 私たちが 神を 愛したのではなく， 神が 私たちを 愛し， 私たちの 罪のために， なだめの 供え 物としての 御子を 遣わされました． ここに 愛があるのです．

- Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
- And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
- Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

- 愛する 者たち． 神がこれほどまでに 私たちを 愛してくださったのなら， 私たちもまた 互いに 愛し 合うべきです．
- いまだかつて， だれも 神を 見た 者はありません． もし 私たちが 互いに 愛し 合うなら， 神は 私たちのうちにおられ， 神の 愛が 私たちのうちに 全うされるのです．
- 神は 私たちに 御靈を 與えてくださいました． それによって， 私たちが 神のうちにおり， 神も 私たちのうちにおられることがわかります．
- 私たちは， 御父が 御子を 世の 救い 主として 遣わされたのを 見て， 今そのあかしをしています．
- だれでも， イエス を 神の 御子と 告白するなら， 神はその 人のうちにおられ， その 人も 神のうちにいます．

- And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
- There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
- We love him, because he first loved us.
- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

- 私たちは， 私たちに 對する 神の 愛を 知り， また 信じています． 神は 愛です． 愛のうちにいる 者は 神のうちにおり， 神もその 人のうちにおられます．
- このことによって， 愛が 私たちにおいても 完全なものとなりました． それは 私たちが， さばきの 日にも 大膽さを 持つことができるためです． なぜなら， 私たちもこの 世にあって キリスト と 同じような 者であるからです．
- 愛には 恐れがありません． 全き 愛は 恐れを 締め 出します． なぜなら 恐れには 刑罰が 伴っているからです． 恐れる 者の 愛は， 全きものとなっていないのです．
- 私たちは 愛しています． 神がまず 私たちを 愛してくださったからです．
- 神を 愛すると 言いながら 兄弟を 憎んでいるなら， その 人は 僞り 者です． 目に 見える 兄弟を 愛していない 者に， 目に 見えない 神を 愛することはできません．

- And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
|
- 神を 愛する 者は， 兄弟をも 愛すべきです． 私たちはこの 命令を キリスト から 受けています．
