- For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
- Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
- Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
- Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:
- For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

- 正しい 者は 七たび 倒れても， また 起き 上がるからだ． 惡者はつまずいて 滅びる．
- あなたの 敵が 倒れるとき， 喜んではならない． 彼がつまずくとき， あなたは 心から 樂しんではならない．
- 主がそれを 見て， 御心を 痛め， 彼への 怒りをやめられるといけないから．
- 惡を 行なう 者に 對して 腹を 立てるな． 惡者に 對してねたみを 起こすな．
- 惡い 者には 良い 終わりがなく， 惡者のともしびは 消えるから．
