아모스 7:1-8:14

 아모스는 황충, 불, 다림줄 환상에 이어 여름 실과의 환상을 보았다. 황충과 불의 환상은 북이스라엘의 멸망과 하나님의 심판에 대한 경고를, 다림줄과 여름 실과의 환상은 회개치 않은 북이스라엘에 대한 하나님의 심판이 확정되었음을 보여 주는 것이었다. 아모스는 심판의 날에는 절망적인 애곡과 하나님의 말씀에 대한 극심한 영적 기갈이 있을 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  아모스의 환상(7:1-8:14)    
 
  1. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings.
  2. And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
  3. The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.
  4. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.
  5. Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
  1. 神である 主は， 私にこのように 示された． 見よ． 王が 刈り 取ったあとの 二番草が 生え 始めたころ， 主はいなごを 造っておられた．
  2. そのいなごが 地の 靑草を 食い 盡くそうとしたとき， 私は 言った． 「神， 主よ． どうぞお 赦しください． ヤコブ はどうして 生き 殘れましょう． 彼は 小さいのです． 」
  3. 主はこのことについて 思い 直し， 「そのことは 起こらない． 」と 主は 仰せられた．
  4. 神である 主は， 私にこのように 示された． 見よ． 神である 主は 燃える 火を 呼んでおられた． 火は 大淵を 燒き 盡くし， 割り 當て 地を 燒き 盡くそうとしていた．
  5. 私は 言った． 「神， 主よ． どうか， おやめください． ヤコブ はどうして 生き 殘れましょう． 彼は 小さいのです． 」
  1. The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.
  2. Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.
  3. And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:
  4. And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.
  5. Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
  1. 主はこのことについて 思い 直し， 「このことも 起こらない． 」と 神である 主は 仰せられた．
  2. 主は 私にこのように 示された． 見よ． 主は 手に 重りなわを 持ち， 重りなわで 築かれた 城壁の 上に 立っておられた．
  3. 主は 私に 仰せられた． 「アモス ． 何を 見ているのか． 」私が「重りなわです． 」と 言うと， 主は 仰せられた． 「見よ． わたしは 重りなわを， わたしの 民 イスラエル の 眞中に 垂れ 下げよう． わたしはもう 二度と 彼らを 見過ごさない．
  4. イサク の 高き 所は 荒らされ， イスラエル の 聖所は 廢墟となる． わたしは 劍をもって， ヤロブアム の 家に 立ち 向かう． 」
  5. ベテル の 祭司 アマツヤ は， イスラエル の 王 ヤロブアム に 人を 遣わしてこう 言った． 「イスラエル の 家のただ 中で， アモス はあなたに 謀反を 企てています． この 國は 彼のすべてのことばを 受け 入れることはできません．
  1. For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
  2. Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
  3. But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court.
  4. Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:
  5. And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
  1. アモス はこう 言っています． 『ヤロブアム は 劍で 死に， イスラエル はその 國から 必ず 捕えられて 行く． 』」
  2. アマツヤ は アモス に 言った． 「先見者よ． ユダ の 地へ 逃げて 行け． その 地で パン を 食べ， その 地で 預言せよ．
  3. ベテル では 二度と 預言するな． ここは 王の 聖所， 王宮のある 所だから． 」
  4. アモス は アマツヤ に 答えて 言った． 「私は 預言者ではなかった． 預言者の 仲間でもなかった． 私は 牧者であり， いちじく 桑の 木を 栽培していた．
  5. ところが， 主は 群れを 追っていた 私をとり， 主は 私に 仰せられた． 『行って， わたしの 民 イスラエル に 預言せよ． 』と．
  1. Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
  2. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.
  1. 今， 主のことばを 聞け． あなたは『イスラエル に 向かって 預言するな． イサク の 家に 向かって 預言するな． 』と 言っている．
  2. それゆえ， 主はこう 仰せられる． 『あなたの 妻は 町で 遊女となり， あなたの 息子， 娘たちは 劍に 倒れ， あなたの 土地は 測りなわで 分割される． あなたは 汚れた 地で 死に， イスラエル はその 國から 必ず 捕えられて 行く． 』」
 
 
  1. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
  2. And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
  3. And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
  4. Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
  5. Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
  1. 神である 主は， 私にこのように 示された． そこに 一かごの 夏のくだものがあった．
  2. 主は 仰せられた． 「アモス ． 何を 見ているのか． 」私が， 「一かごの 夏のくだものです． 」と 言うと， 主は 私に 仰せられた． 「わたしの 民 イスラエル に， 終わりが 來た． わたしはもう 二度と 彼らを 見過ごさない．
  3. その 日には， 神殿の 歌聲は 泣きわめきとなる． ··神である 主の 御告げ． ··多くのしかばねが， 至る 所に 投げ 捨てられる． 口をつぐめ． 」
  4. 聞け． 貧しい 者たちを 踏みつけ， 地の 惱む 者たちを 絶やす 者よ．
  5. あなたがたは 言っている． 「新月の 祭りはいつ 終わるのか． 私たちは 穀物を 賣りたいのだが． 安息日はいつ 終わるのか． 麥を 賣りに 出したいのだが． エパ を 小さくし， シェケル を 重くし， 欺きのはかりで 欺こう．
  1. That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?
  2. The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.
  3. Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
  4. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
  5. And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.
  1. 弱い 者を 銀で 買い， 貧しい 者を 一足のくつで 買い 取り， くず 麥を 賣るために． 」
  2. 主は ヤコブ の 誇りにかけて 誓われる． 「わたしは， 彼らのしていることをみな， いつまでも， 決して 忘れない．
  3. このために 地は 震えないだろうか． 地に 住むすべての 者は 泣き 悲しまないだろうか． 地のすべてのものは ナイル 川のようにわき 上がり， エジプト 川のように， みなぎっては， また 沈まないだろうか．
  4. その 日には， ··神である 主の 御告げ． ··わたしは 眞¿に 太陽を 沈ませ， 日盛りに 地を 暗くし，
  5. あなたがたの 祭りを 喪に 變え， あなたがたのすべての 歌を 哀歌に 變え， すべての 腰に 荒布をまとわせ， すべての 人の 頭をそらせ， その 日を， ひとり 子を 失ったときの 喪のようにし， その 終わりを 苦い 日のようにする．
  1. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
  2. And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
  3. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
  4. They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
  1. 見よ． その 日が 來る． ··神である 主の 御告げ． ··その 日， わたしは， この 地にききんを 送る． パン のききんではない． 水に 渴くのでもない． 實に， 主のことばを 聞くことのききんである．
  2. 彼らは 海から 海へとさまよい 步き， 北から 東へと， 主のことばを 搜し 求めて， 行き 巡る． しかしこれを 見いだせない．
  3. その 日には， 美しい 若い 女も， 若い 男も， 渴きのために 衰え 果てる．
  4. サマリヤ の 罪過にかけて 誓い， 『ダン よ． あなたの 神は 生きている． 』と 言い， 『ベエル · シェバ の 道は 生きている． 』と 言う 者は， 倒れて， 二度と 起き 上がれない． 」
