- I saw the LORD standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.
- Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
- And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
- And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.
- And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

- 私は， 祭壇のかたわらに 立っておられる 主を 見た． 主は 仰せられた． 「柱頭を 打って， 敷居が 震えるようにせよ． そのすべてを 頭上で 打ち ¿け． わたしは 彼らの 殘った 者を， 劍で 殺す． 彼らのうち， ひとりも 逃げる 者はなく， のがれる 者もない．
- 彼らが， よみにはいり ¿んでも， わたしの 手はそこから 彼らを 引き 出し， 彼らが 天に 上っても， わたしはそこから 彼らを 引き 降ろす．
- 彼らが カルメル の 頂に 身を 隱しても， わたしは 搜して， そこから 彼らを 捕え 出し， 彼らがわたしの 目を 避けて 海の 底に 身を 隱しても， わたしは 蛇に 命じて， そこで 彼らをかませる．
- もし， 彼らが 敵のとりことなって 行っても， わたしは 劍に 命じて， その 所で 彼らを 殺させる． わたしはこの 目で 彼らを 見る． それは， わざわいのためで， 幸いのためではない． 」
- 万軍の 神， 主が， 地に 觸れると， それは 溶け， そこに 住むすべての 者は 泣き 悲しみ， 地のすべてのものは ナイル 川のようにわき 上がり， エジプト 川のように 沈む．

- It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.
- Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
- Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.
- For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
- All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

- 天に 高殿を 建て， 地の 上に 丸天井を 据え， 海の 水を 呼んで， 地の 面に 注がれる 方， その 名は 主．
- 「イスラエル の 子ら． あなたがたは， わたしにとって， クシュ 人のようではないのか． ··主の 御告げ． ··わたしは イスラエル を エジプト の 國から， ペリシテ 人を カフトル から， アラム を キル から 連れ 上ったではないか．
- 見よ． 神である 主の 目が， 罪を 犯した 王國に 向けられている． わたしはこれを 地の 面から 根絶やしにする． しかし， わたしは ヤコブ の 家を， 全く 根絶やしにはしない． ··主の 御告げ． ··
- 見よ． わたしは 命じて， ふるいにかけるように， すべての 國¿の 間で イスラエル の 家をふるい， 一つの 石ころも 地に 落とさない．
- わたしの 民の 中の 罪人はみな， 劍で 死ぬ． 彼らは『わざわいは 私たちに 近づかない． 私たちまでは 及ばない． 』と 言っている．

- In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
- That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.
- Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
- And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
- And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

- その 日， わたしは ダビデ の 倒れている 假庵を 起こし， その 破れを 繕い， その 廢墟を 復興し， 昔の 日のようにこれを 建て 直す．
- これは 彼らが， エドム の 殘りの 者と， わたしの 名がつけられたすべての 國¿を 手に 入れるためだ． ··これをなされる 主の 御告げ． ··
- 見よ． その 日が 來る． ··主の 御告げ． ··その 日には， 耕す 者が 刈る 者に 近寄り， ぶどうを 踏む 者が 種蒔く 者に 近寄る． 山¿は 甘いぶどう 酒をしたたらせ， すべての 丘もこれを 流す．
- わたしは， わたしの 民 イスラエル の 捕われ 人を 歸らせる． 彼らは 荒れた 町¿を 建て 直して 住み， ぶどう 畑を 作って， そのぶどう 酒を 飮み， 果樹園を 作って， その 實を 食べる．
- わたしは 彼らを 彼らの 地に 植える． 彼らは， わたしが 彼らに 與えたその 土地から， もう， 引き 拔かれることはない． 」とあなたの 神， 主は， 仰せられる．
