- Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
- O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
- Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
- Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
- Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

- 主よ， わが 魂はあなたを 仰ぎ 望みます．
- わが 神よ， わたしはあなたに 信賴します． どうか， わたしをはずかしめず， わたしの 敵を 勝ち 誇らせないでください．
- すべてあなたを 待ち 望む 者をはずかしめず， みだりに 信義にそむく 者をはずかしめてください．
- 主よ， あなたの 大路をわたしに 知らせ， あなたの 道をわたしに 敎えてください．
- あなたのまことをもって， わたしを 導き， わたしを 敎えてください． あなたはわが 救の 神です． わたしはひねもすあなたを 待ち 望みます．

- Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
- Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
- Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
- The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
- All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

- 主よ， あなたのあわれみと， いつくしみとを ／思い 出してください． これはいにしえから 絶えることがなかったのです．
- わたしの 若き 時の 罪と， とがとを ／思い 出さないでください． 主よ， あなたの 惠みのゆえに， あなたのいつくしみにしたがって， わたしを 思い 出してください．
- 主は 惠みふかく， かつ 正しくいらせられる． それゆえ， 主は 道を 罪びとに 敎え，
- へりくだる 者を 公義に 導き， へりくだる 者にその 道を 敎えられる．
- 主のすべての 道はその 契約とあかしとを 守る 者には ／いつくしみであり， まことである．

- For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
- What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
- His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
- The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
- Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

- 主を 恐れる 人はだれか． 主はその 選ぶべき 道をその 人に 敎えられる．
- 彼はみずからさいわいに 住まい， そのすえは 地を 繼ぐであろう．
- 主の 親しみは 主をおそれる 者のためにあり， 主はその 契約を 彼らに 知らせられる．
- わたしの 目は 常に 主に 向かっている． 主はわたしの 足を 網から 取り 出されるからである．
