- Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
- And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
- And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
- Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
- And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

- 時に， 十二弟子のひとり イスカリオテ の ユダ という 者が， 祭司長たちのところに 行って
- 言った， 「彼をあなたがたに 引き 渡せば， いくらくださいますか 」． すると， 彼らは 銀貨三十枚を 彼に 支拂った．
- その 時から， ユダ は イエス を 引きわたそうと， 機會をねらっていた．
- さて， 除酵祭の 第一日に， 弟子たちは イエス のもとにきて 言った， 「過越の 食事をなさるために， わたしたちはどこに 用意をしたらよいでしょうか 」．
- イエス は 言われた， 「市內にはいり， かねて 話してある 人の 所に 行って 言いなさい， 『先生が， わたしの 時が 近づいた， あなたの 家で 弟子たちと 一緖に 過越を 守ろうと， 言っておられます 』」．

- And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.
- Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.
- And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
- And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?
- And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.

- 弟子たちは イエス が 命じられたとおりにして， 過越の 用意をした．
- 夕方になって， イエス は 十二弟子と 一緖に 食事の 席につかれた．
- そして， 一同が 食事をしているとき 言われた， 「特にあなたがたに 言っておくが， あなたがたのうちのひとりが， わたしを 裏切ろうとしている 」．
- 弟子たちは 非常に 心配して， つぎつぎに「主よ， まさか， わたしではないでしょう 」と 言い 出した．
- イエス は 答えて 言われた， 「わたしと 一緖に 同じ 鉢に 手を 入れている 者が， わたしを 裏切ろうとしている．

- The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
- Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
- And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
- And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
- For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

- たしかに 人の 子は， 自分について 書いてあるとおりに 去って 行く． しかし， 人の 子を 裏切るその 人は， わざわいである． その 人は 生れなかった 方が， 彼のためによかったであろう 」．
- イエス を 裏切った ユダ が 答えて 言った， 「先生， まさか， わたしではないでしょう 」． イエス は 言われた， 「いや， あなただ 」．
- 一同が 食事をしているとき， イエス は パン を 取り， 祝福してこれをさき， 弟子たちに 與えて 言われた， 「取って 食べよ， これはわたしのからだである 」．
- また 杯を 取り， 感謝して 彼らに 與えて 言われた， 「みな， この 杯から 飮め．
- これは， 罪のゆるしを 得させるようにと， 多くの 人のために 流すわたしの 契約の 血である．

- But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
- And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
- Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
- But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.
- Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.

- あなたがたに 言っておく． わたしの 父の 國であなたがたと 共に， 新しく 飮むその 日までは， わたしは 今後決して， ぶどうの 實から 造ったものを 飮むことをしない 」．
- 彼らは， さんびを 歌った 後， オリブ 山へ 出かけて 行った．
- そのとき， イエス は 弟子たちに 言われた， 「今夜， あなたがたは 皆わたしにつまずくであろう． 『わたしは 羊飼を 打つ． そして， 羊の 群れは 散らされるであろう 』と， 書いてあるからである．
- しかしわたしは， よみがえってから， あなたがたより 先に ガリラヤ へ 行くであろう 」．
- すると ペテロ は イエス に 答えて 言った， 「たとい， みんなの 者があなたにつまずいても， わたしは 決してつまずきません 」．

- Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
- Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
- Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
- And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
- Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

- イエス は 言われた， 「よくあなたに 言っておく． 今夜， 鷄が 鳴く 前に， あなたは 三度わたしを 知らないというだろう 」．
- ペテロ は 言った， 「たといあなたと 一緖に 死なねばならなくなっても， あなたを 知らないなどとは， 決して 申しません 」． 弟子たちもみな 同じように 言った．
- それから， イエス は 彼らと 一緖に， ゲツセマネ という 所へ 行かれた． そして 弟子たちに 言われた， 「わたしが 向こうへ 行って 祈っている 間， ここにすわっていなさい 」．
- そして ペテロ と ゼベダイ の 子ふたりとを 連れて 行かれたが， 悲しみを 催しまた 惱みはじめられた．
- そのとき， 彼らに 言われた， 「わたしは 悲しみのあまり 死ぬほどである． ここに 待っていて， わたしと 一緖に 目をさましていなさい 」．

- And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
- And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
- Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
- And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.

- そして 少し 進んで 行き， うつぶしになり， 祈って 言われた， 「わが 父よ， もしできることでしたらどうか， この 杯をわたしから 過ぎ 去らせてください． しかし， わたしの 思いのままにではなく， みこころのままになさって 下さい 」．
- それから， 弟子たちの 所にきてごらんになると， 彼らが 眠っていたので， ペテロ に 言われた， 「あなたがたはそんなに， ひと 時もわたしと 一緖に 目をさましていることが， できなかったのか．
- 誘惑に 陷らないように， 目をさまして 祈っていなさい． 心は 熱しているが， 肉體が 弱いのである 」．
- また 二度目に 行って， 祈って 言われた， 「わが 父よ， この 杯を 飮むほかに 道がないのでしたら， どうか， みこころが 行われますように 」．
- またきてごらんになると， 彼らはまた 眠っていた． その 目が 重くなっていたのである．

- And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
- Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
- Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

- それで 彼らをそのままにして， また 行って， 三度目に 同じ 言葉で 祈られた．
- それから 弟子たちの 所に 歸ってきて， 言われた， 「まだ 眠っているのか， 休んでいるのか． 見よ， 時が 迫った． 人の 子は 罪人らの 手に 渡されるのだ．
- 立て， さあ 行こう． 見よ， わたしを 裏切る 者が 近づいてきた 」．
