- And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.
- For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
- The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
- But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
- And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

- さて， イエス は， そこを 立ち 去って， ツロ の 地方に 行かれた． そして， だれにも 知れないように， 家の 中にはいられたが， 隱れていることができなかった．
- そして， けがれた 靈につかれた 幼い 娘をもつ 女が， イエス のことをすぐ 聞きつけてきて， その 足もとにひれ 伏した．
- この 女は ギリシヤ 人で， スロ · フェニキヤ の 生れであった． そして， 娘から 惡靈を 追い 出してくださいとお 願いした．
- イエス は 女に 言われた， 「まず 子供たちに 十分食べさすべきである． 子供たちの パン を 取って 小犬に 投げてやるのは， よろしくない 」．
- すると 女は 答えて 言った， 「主よ， お 言葉どおりです． でも， 食卓の 下にいる 小犬も， 子供たちの パン くずは， いただきます 」．

- And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
- And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
- And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.
- And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.
- And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

- そこで イエス は 言われた， 「その 言葉で， じゅうぶんである． お 歸りなさい． 惡靈は 娘から 出てしまった 」．
- そこで， 女が 家に 歸ってみると， その 子は 床の 上に 寢ており， 惡靈は 出てしまっていた．
- それから， イエス はまた ツロ の 地方を 去り， シドン を 經て デカポリス 地方を 通りぬけ， ガリラヤ の 海べにこられた．
- すると 人¿は， 耳が 聞えず 口のきけない 人を， みもとに 連れてきて， 手を 置いてやっていただきたいとお 願いした．
- そこで， イエス は 彼ひとりを 群衆の 中から 連れ 出し， その 兩耳に 指をさし 入れ， それから， つばきでその 舌を 潤し，

- And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
- And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.
- And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;
- And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

- 天を 仰いでため 息をつき， その 人に「エパタ 」と 言われた． これは「開けよ 」という 意味である．
- すると 彼の 耳が 開け， その 舌のもつれもすぐ 解けて， はっきりと 話すようになった．
- イエス は， この 事をだれにも 言ってはならぬと， 人¿に 口止めをされたが， 口止めをすればするほど， かえって， ますます 言いひろめた．
- 彼らは， ひとかたならず 驚いて 言った， 「このかたのなさった 事は， 何もかも， すばらしい． 耳の 聞えない 者を 聞えるようにしてやり， 口のきけない 者をきけるようにしておやりになった 」．
