- The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
- The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
- The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
- The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
- Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

- 正しい 者の 口は 知惠を 語り， その 舌は 公義を 述べる．
- その 心には 神のおきてがあり， その 步みはすべることがない．
- 惡しき 者は 正しい 人をうかがい， これを 殺そうとはかる．
- 主は 正しい 人を 惡しき 者の 手にゆだねられない， またさばかれる 時， これを 罪に 定められることはない．
- 主を 待ち 望め， その 道を 守れ． そうすれば， 主はあなたを 上げて， 國を 繼がせられる． あなたは 惡しき 者の ／斷ち 滅ぼされるのを 見るであろう．

- I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.
- Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
- Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
- But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
- But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

- わたしは 惡しき 者が 勝ち 誇って， レバノン の 香柏のようにそびえたつのを 見た．
- しかし， わたしが 通り 過ぎると， 見よ， 彼はいなかった． わたしは 彼を 尋ねたけれども 見つからなかった．
- 全き 人に 目をそそぎ， 直き 人を 見よ． おだやかな 人には 子孫がある．
- しかし 罪を 犯す 者どもは 共に 滅ぼされ， 惡しき 者の 子孫は 斷たれる．
- 正しい 人の 救は 主から 出る． 主は 彼らの 惱みの 時の 避け 所である．

- And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

- 主は 彼らを 助け， 彼らを 解き 放ち， 彼らを 惡しき 者どもから 解き 放って 救われる． 彼らは 主に 寄り 賴むからである．
