- And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
- And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
- And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
- Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
- And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

- 一同が 食事をしているとき， イエス は パン を 取り， 祝福してこれをさき， 弟子たちに 與えて 言われた， 「取れ， これはわたしのからだである 」．
- また 杯を 取り， 感謝して 彼らに 與えられると， 一同はその 杯から 飮んだ．
- イエス はまた 言われた， 「これは， 多くの 人のために 流すわたしの 契約の 血である．
- あなたがたによく 言っておく． 神の 國で 新しく 飮むその 日までは， わたしは 決して 二度と， ぶどうの 實から 造ったものを 飮むことをしない 」．
- 彼らは， さんびを 歌った 後， オリブ 山へ 出かけて 行った．

- And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
- But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.
- But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.
- And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.
- But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

- しかしわたしは， よみがえってから， あなたがたより 先に ガリラヤ へ 行くであろう 」．
- すると ペテロ は イエス に 言った， 「たとい， みんなの 者がつまずいても， わたしはつまずきません 」．
- イエス は 言われた， 「あなたによく 言っておく． きょう， 今夜， にわとりが 二度鳴く 前に， そう 言うあなたが， 三度わたしを 知らないと 言うだろう 」．
- ペテロ は 力をこめて 言った， 「たといあなたと 一緖に 死なねばならなくなっても， あなたを 知らないなどとは， 決して 申しません 」． みんなの 者もまた， 同じようなことを 言った．

- And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
- And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
- And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
- And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
- And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

- さて， 一同は ゲツセマネ という 所にきた． そして イエス は 弟子たちに 言われた， 「わたしが 祈っている 間， ここにすわっていなさい 」．
- そして ペテロ ， ヤコブ ， ヨハネ を 一緖に 連れて 行かれたが， 恐れおののき， また 惱みはじめて， 彼らに 言われた，
- 「わたしは 悲しみのあまり 死ぬほどである． ここに 待っていて， 目をさましていなさい 」．
- そして 少し 進んで 行き， 地にひれ 伏し， もしできることなら， この 時を 過ぎ 去らせてくださるようにと 祈りつづけ， そして 言われた，
- 「アバ ， 父よ， あなたには， できないことはありません． どうか， この 杯をわたしから 取りのけてください． しかし， わたしの 思いではなく， みこころのままになさってください 」．

- And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
- Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
- And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.
- And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.
- And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

- それから， きてごらんになると， 弟子たちが 眠っていたので， ペテロ に 言われた， 「シモン よ， 眠っているのか， ひと 時も 目をさましていることができなかったのか．
- 誘惑に 陷らないように， 目をさまして 祈っていなさい． 心は 熱しているが， 肉體が 弱いのである 」．
- また 離れて 行って 同じ 言葉で 祈られた．
- またきてごらんになると， 彼らはまだ 眠っていた． その 目が 重くなっていたのである． そして， 彼らはどうお 答えしてよいか， わからなかった．
- 三度目にきて 言われた， 「まだ 眠っているのか， 休んでいるのか． もうそれでよかろう． 時がきた． 見よ， 人の 子は 罪人らの 手に 渡されるのだ．

- Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.
- And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
- And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.
- And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.
- And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

- 立て， さあ 行こう． 見よ． わたしを 裏切る 者が 近づいてきた 」．
- そしてすぐ， イエス がまだ 話しておられるうちに， 十二弟子のひとりの ユダ が 進みよってきた． また 祭司長， 律法學者， 長老たちから 送られた 群衆も， 劍と 棒とを 持って 彼についてきた．
- イエス を 裏切る 者は， あらかじめ 彼らに 合圖をしておいた， 「わたしの 接吻する 者が， その 人だ． その 人をつかまえて， まちがいなく 引っぱって 行け 」．
- 彼は 來るとすぐ， イエス に 近寄り， 「先生 」と 言って 接吻した．
- 人¿は イエス に 手をかけてつかまえた．

- And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
- And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?
- I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.
- And they all forsook him, and fled.
- And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:

- すると， イエス のそばに 立っていた 者のひとりが， 劍を 拔いて 大祭司の 僕に 切りかかり， その 片耳を 切り 落した．
- イエス は 彼らにむかって 言われた， 「あなたがたは 强盜にむかうように， 劍や 棒を 持ってわたしを 捕えにきたのか．
- わたしは 每日あなたがたと 一緖に 宮にいて 敎えていたのに， わたしをつかまえはしなかった． しかし 聖書の 言葉は 成就されねばならない 」．
- 弟子たちは 皆 イエス を 見捨てて 逃げ 去った．
- ときに， ある 若者が 身に 亞麻布をまとって， イエス のあとについて 行ったが， 人¿が 彼をつかまえようとしたので，

- And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

- その 亞麻布を 捨てて， 裸で 逃げて 行った．
